- Miltank was part of a herd at Troy's ranch. She is best friends with Heracross. She decided to travel with Tyler after his compassion and love for Pokemon.
- Tyler first used Nidoran in Tyler and Jon, The Chateau Fight! but it soon evolved into Nidorina.
- Hoppip was in a big group of Skiploom, but the Skiploom were disappointed at Hoppip since it hadn't evolved at the same time as then. After helping Tyler and Jon defeat Team Rocket, Hoppip left the group and joined Tyler on his journey. Soon afterwards, Hoppip evolved into Skiploom
- Pikachu was being bullied by some Flaaffy. Tyler helped Pikachu defeat the Flaaffy and Team Rocket. Afterwards, Pikachu decided to travel with Tyler in A Shocking Encounter. Soon after arriving in Olivine City, Pikachu evolved into Raichu when helping out Ampharos, Fog Battle For The Light.
- Gastly was being kept captive by Team Rocket in Burned Tower but Tyler let it out. Gastly battled Tyler and Tyler caught Gastly at the Burned Tower in the episode, Rocket Spirit. While Tyler was using Gastly in a Gym Battle against Pryce, Gastly evolved into Haunter, in Tyler's Ice Is Pryce!. Haunter was traded to Jon and then back to Tyler in Trade Evolution Festival! Goodbye Haunter and Rhydon!, where Haunter evolved into Gengar.
- Tyler first showed his Rattata in Competition At The Chateau Begins!
- Charmander decided to travel with Tyler after he helped save it from Zach and Chris. Charmander also has a Mega Stone aroudn his neck, Charizardite Y. Tyler caught Charmander in Pokemon Adoption Crisis. Later on while travelling through Mt. Mortar, Charmander evolved into Charmeleon Trouble In The Mountain. After battling some poachers in Protect The Special Pokemon!, Charmeleon evolved into Charizard. This also allowed for Mega Charizard Y to be used later on when Tyler decided to.
- Tyler first shown his Abra in Tyler and Jon, The Chateau Fight!
- Tyler was given this egg for winning the Cherrygrove Cup. This Pokemon has been revealed to be a Kabuto. Kabuto hatched an episode later in The Brother Reunion. later in The Moving Tree, Kabuto evolved into Kautops.
- Tyrogue was caught by poachers along with Rhyhorn and placed in a cage. Later on, Jon and Tyler came along and saved the Pokemon. Tyrogue decided to travel with Tyler, in Trouble In The Mountain. While fightinga Gengar, Tyrogue evolved into Hitmontop it Trouble By The Lake.
