They were led by ChaoSephiroth and after the Battle of Return disbanded as a military force and became a purely intellectual society that mainly concerns itself with teaching new generations the lessons of the past.

Veterans form an insular circle of players, and at a glance many may seem elitist or even pretentious in their exclusive taste for Roleplay and their often jeering attitude to the rest of the TSRP community -- and that's because a good deal are both elitist and pretentious on every level. However, this is deemed somewhat necessary. Ranging from casual nonchalance about RP to strict adherence to unwritten rules of etiquette, there is no one category for these players, but those referred to as "Veterans" have likely been involved in TSRP anywhere from 4 to almost 11 years, at it's inception. Their constant return beckons in rebirths of TSRP, and their waning activity usually heralds dead-time for the community.
