In 2364, the three stole the Batris, a Talarian freighter, and set off to find a world where he could fulfill his destiny as a warrior. When the IKS T'Acog was sent to bring him back, he destroyed it in a battle, but was only rescued from dying aboard the heavily-damaged freighter by the timely arrival of the USS Enterprise-D. On board the Enterprise-D, he attempted to convince the Klingon Starfleet officer Worf to join them in their "quest for glory". Another Klingon cruiser, commanded by K'Nera, was sent to capture the fugitives. On hearing of their criminal status, Captain Jean-Luc Picard ordered them arrested, but Korris escaped from the brig, and went to main engineering where he threatened to destroy the ship. He was killed by Worf, who refused to help him take control of the Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Heart of Glory" ) Korris was part of Commander William T. Riker's memories while being infected on the surface of Surata IV and treated in sickbay. (TNG: "Shades of Gray" ) Korris was the first character played by Vaughn Armstrong in the Star Trek universe. In a minor bit of discontinuity, Picard sometimes refers to Korris as "commander," even though the Klingon introduced himself as "captain."

Dabei kommt der Frachter in die neutrale Zone, weswegen die Sternenflotte die USS Enterprise-D zur Untersuchung aussendet. Es stellt sich heraus, dass Korris und seine Männer auch das klingonische Schiff IKS T'Acog zerstört haben, das die Abtrünnigen zurückbringen soll. Dafür wendet Korris eine List an, indem er einen Schaden am Schiff vortäuscht, um so die T'Acog näher heranlocken zu können. Als das gegnerische Schiff seiner List folgt, lässt es daraufhin die Schutzschilde herunter, um auf die Batris zu beamen. Dann feuert Korris eine Salve alter Merkulit-Raketen ab und zerstört so das Schiff. Korris kommt später um, als er sich nicht freiwillig der Enterprise und der klingonischen Autoritäten ergeben will. Er wird schließlich von Worf erschossen und stirbt als letzter der drei abtrünnigen Klingonen. Korris kann den Gedanken nicht ertragen, dass die Klingonen in Frieden leben sollen und sich um Friedensverträge sorgen würden, ja dass sie sogar eine Allianz mit der Föderation bilden. Sein Ziel ist es, in einer ruhmreichen Schlacht den Tod zu finden. (TNG: ) Korris wurde von Vaughn Armstrong gespielt und erhielt seine deutsche Synchronstimme von Kurt Goldstein.
