  • The DSC-304, also known as the Daedalus-class or simply 304, is a class of deep space carrier built by Earth, and the most abundant series of vessels in their fleet. Replacing the BC-303 as humanity's frontline battleship, it has seen extensive action against various foes in several galaxies, and with modern refits of Asgard weaponry, they are among the most-powerful ships of their size. Following the complete devastation of Earth in the Der'kal Invasion, the number of DSC-304s dropped dramatically, but the line was revitalized when the planet was retaken, and Daedalus-class ships continue to be a common sight wherever the Tau'ri have a presence.
  • The Daedalus-class Battlecruiser was Earth's second generation spacecraft that was introduced in 2005 and has continued production ever since. There are currently four Deadalus-class ships in active service: USAF Daedalus, USAF Odyssey, USAF Apollo, PLA Sun Tzu, and USAF General Hammond which is currently under construction. The Deadalus-class was built with all the Asgard systems already installed unlike the USAF Prometheus which had them installed during refits. In 2007, the Odyssey recieved numerous upgrades from the Asgard including plasma beam weapons. Subsequent ships have all the new technologies installed on them and the Daedalus and Apollo had been refitted in mid 2008.
