It would seem that the Cauldrons of the Library branches and Sector Seven are somehow associated with the gates and could possibly be the door to the gates.

The item in question reveals the Keyhole to a route, which Sora then unseals. Sora, Donald, and Goofy continue on their adventures thereafter with the new route opened. When Sora unlocks a world's gate, a symbol shaped like Sora's crown pendant appears beneath him. • A gate is an architectural object in The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4. Gates were introduced in The Sims 2 base game, so as to give Sims a way to pass through fences without requiring the player to leave a gap in the fence. Gates function the same as doors, except that they must be placed in fences. The Sims 2: Open for Business introduced the ability to lock gates. Gate locking was introduced into The Sims 3 with The Sims 3: World Adventures. In The Sims 2: Pets and The Sims 3: Pets, individual gates can be set so that pets either can or cannot use them.

These gates have a number above them, indicating the number of Gravitons required to go through the gate; if Rodea doesn't have enough Gravitons, the gate won't open. In each 2D room, a second gate will lead Rodea back to the main level. Each gate disappears after being crossed.
  • Gates can be designed so you can see who's on the other side or as part of a fence that blocks the view of people outside for privacy.

  • Powerful mages (Master and Adept class) can construct Gates for quick transportation from one place to another. Both people and items can be moved through a Gate. The Gate bends space connecting one spot to another, making it possible to cross a continent with a single step. The sole exception to this rule was when Tylendel used Vanyel to supply Gate energy. Their lifebond connected them at such a deep level, that in many ways Vanyel's energy was Tylendel's, and vice versa. Without the lifebond, this could not have been accomplished.

  • A gate or gateway is a point of entry to a space enclosed by walls, or a moderately sized opening in some sort of fence. Gates may prevent or control the entry or exit of individuals, or they may be merely decorative. Other terms for gate include yett and port. The word derives from the old Norse "gata", meaning road or path, and originally referred to the gap in the wall or fence, rather than the barrier which closed it.
  • Gate defends the sanctity of the chambers of the Lord of the Dead. He would gleefully devour any human who dares approach him too closely. He serves as the entrance to Samhain's court. It had been centuries since he tasted mortal flesh. He can only be outwitted by a hero with a quick mind and a pure heart. He would only let Alexander pass either by answering a riddle or eaten alive. The riddle was: My first is foremost legally, My second circles outwardly, My third leads all in victory, My fourth twice ends a nominee, My whole is this gate's only key

  • A Gate is a hyperdimensional, space-time distortion that allows people to move through time. The first Gate in Chrono Trigger is opened by the Telepod interacting with Marle's pendant, sending her into the past. Crono uses the same means to follow her. Lucca creates a Gate Key that can open any Gate, enabling the group to travel through time at will. More Gates are discovered as the group continues their journey, set up by some unknown entity to put them on course to fight with Lavos and prevent the destruction of the world. After obtaining the Epoch from Belthasar in the Future, the Epoch's Time Gauge locks onto the temporal coordinates of all the Gates, allowing it to travel to any time period accessible by the Gates (Prehistory, Antiquity, Middle Ages, Present, Apocalypse, Future, End o
  • The Gate ( 扉 or Tobira ) is a mysterious artifact whose existence has been disclosed in The King of Fighters XIII. It is a large portal which allows time travel to every one who crosses through it and requires large amounts of energy in order to properly function. It is controlled by Saiki, the leader of Those from the Past. The Rose Stadium was built on the location of the Gate thanks to Botan's influence over Rose. Even though the actual Gate was shown in KoF XIII the device has influenced the events of KoF 2003 and KoF XI as the attacks on the three sacred treasures and the presence of Those from the Past in this time are linked to it.
  • There are four major variations in gate structure: * White gates (also known as white Bramble Gates) are the most basic, and take a relatively short amount of time to destroy. * Black gates (also known as black Bramble Gates) that are made up of a lattice-like pattern are stronger, but any Pikmin can still remove them. * Electric fences consist of metal with electricity running through; of course, only Yellow Pikmin can help with clearing these out of the way. * stone gates, found only in Pikmin 1, require the Yellow Pikmin again, this time due to their affinity for bomb-rocks. Each blast from a bomb-rock makes the wall fall to a lower stage. There are three colour variations here: white stone gates, which require only three bomb-rocks, gray ones, which require six, and black
  • A signal which conventionally represents the pressing and releasing of a key on a keyboard, or some other on/off state, and is most commonly used to activate an envelope generator. Conventionally, a gate signal has two states. When no keys are pressed on the keyboard, the gate is in the low or inactive state. Pressing a key changes the gate signal to the active or high state, and it remains in that state as long as the key is pressed. (See ADSR for a description of how a typical envelope generator uses a gate signal.) The gate signal is by definition monophonic; on a monophonic synth, generally the gate signal will be in the high state as long as any key on the keyboard is pressed. However, true polyphonic synths extend the concept so that a gate signal exists (conceptually if not in actua
  • A Gate, short for Inga Gate, is an object that amasses a large amount of negative ki energy which Inga Horrors use to enter the human world and then possess a host body. Usually the object in question is something that played a role in some form of tragedy or atrocity; such as a murder or a suicide. Gates can also be activated by being infused with evil energies from other sources such as corrupt agents of the Makai Order. Sometimes the object can be a living thing such as a kitten or a formerly living being such as a human corpse.
  • At the beginning of the game, each player shuffles their gate deck, places six gate cards from it onto the field, one on each of their circles, and puts the other four into the remove zone. While all types of cards have an associated world, gate cards do not have an associated color, unlike member, tactics, and paradox cards.
  • Syntax: channel 'gate' The gate weave opens a gateway to the specific room identified by the earthcode. Players may pass through it, and so move between the origin and destination rooms, using the enter gate / enter portal command. As with travel and fade, an attempt to open a gateway or obtain an earthcode has a high chance of failure if the caster has no quit status. Access to the gate weave is limited. This weave can currently be learned only by female channelers who have reached full Sisterhood in the White Tower, dreadlords, male channelers, and perhaps certain others.
  • When the Exarchs ascended the Celestial Ladder to lay claim to the Supernal Realm, they realized they could not control a place of infinite possibilities, unbound by the laws, even with the use of High Speech. The Gate was the one who answered this dilemma: Known as the Dark Man at the Crossroads, he became the Iron Seal of the Abyss. Whether he created it, or merely named it, the Lonely Exarch ensured his peers' sovereignty over a flawed and broken world. However, to keep the Abyss from consuming the Fallen World outright, the Gate was forced to seal himself within the Void. To this day, Seers are warned against worshipping the Gate, fearing the machinations of something that exists not within the Supernal, but within the Place Between reality. Those that do listen, however, become member

  • Powerful mages (Master and Adept class) can construct Gates for quick transportation from one place to another. Both people and items can be moved through a Gate. The Gate bends space connecting one spot to another, making it possible to cross a continent with a single step. The problem with Gating is that it takes a great deal of focus and concentration, making it impossible for a mage to regulate power coming in from an outside source. Therefore, the mage is limited to only his or her personal energy reserves. Gates also take a tremendous amount of power, draining the mage who casts it, and leaving him or her helpless on the other side. The sole exception to this rule was when Tylendel used Vanyel to supply Gate energy. Their lifebond connected them at such a deep level, that in many ways Vanyel's energy was Tylendel's, and vice versa. Without the lifebond, this could not have been accomplished. Interestingly, two Firecats can work together to build a Gate. Perhaps there is some sort of unity through both being avatars of Vkandis.
No mather how they are created, Inga Horrors all use them to find a host body to possess, usually ones that are tainted with darkness in their souls. Once a human is near the possessed object or touches it, the Horror can then enter their body.
  • Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S, M (a diamond worth at least 5,000 gp) Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute You conjure a portal linking an unoccupied space you can see within range to a precise location on a different plane of existence. The portal is a circular opening, which you can make 5 to 20 feet in diameter. You can orient the portal in any direction you choose. The portal lasts for the duration. The portal has a front and a back on each plane where it appears. Travel through the portal is possible only by moving through its front. Anything that does so is instantly transported to the other plane, appearing in the unoccupied space nearest to the portal. Deities and other planar rulers can prevent portals created by this spell from opening in their presence or anywhere within their domains. When you cast this spell, you can speak the name of a specific creature (a pseudonym, title, or nickname doesn't work). If that creature is on a plane other than the one you are on, the portal opens in the named creature's immediate vicinity and draws the creature through it to the nearest unoccupied space on your side of the portal. You gain no special power over the creature, and it is free to act as the GM deems appropriate. It might leave, attack you, or help you.
  • The Gate is located under the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi branch of the Novus Orbis Librarium. In BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, the Sheol Gate serves as both Hakumen and Nu -No. 13- stages. It also serves as Unlimited Ragna the Bloodedge's boss stage in score attack mode. It would seem that the Cauldrons of the Library branches and Sector Seven are somehow associated with the gates and could possibly be the door to the gates.
  • Innate level: 9 School: conjuration Components: verbal, somatic Range: medium (20 meters) Area of effect: point Duration: 1 round / level Save: none Spell resistance: none Description: This powerful summoning spell opens a portal to another plane, calling forth a balor. If the caster is not so protected, the balor attempts to destroy them.
  • There are some gates that you must go through to complete a level in bugdom and bugdom 2. You can o nly open it using key. They are found on every single level except for indoor levels and boss levels/battles.

Armoured gates were introduced by both Nod and GDI in the Second Tiberium War, and also used during the Firestorm Crisis. Gates proved to be a nuisance for small raider parties intent on destroying vulnerable structures such as Power plants, as they could not penetrate the armour well enough. However, this armour was no match for medium and large-sized armies, and they would quickly crumble under continuous barrages of enemy fire. Gates were not seen in the Third Tiberium War and beyond.
  • A gate or portal is a structure created by the Secret Art that allows a person to travel instantly from one place to another. The creation of a portal is among the most powerful and draining of the Secret Arts that only the greatest of mancers can successfully achieve. After the creation of the Forbidding the use of gates was virtually impossible, however, in 2 ATM the Aachim leader Tensor rediscovered the secret. Following the end of the Time of the Mirror gates again became a lost Art, only being rediscovered after Tiaan Liise-Mar opened one between Santhenar and Aachan to save the native Aachim from world-wide volcanic activity.
  • Gate is a rather tall man with shaggy hair. He also wears a blue and black cape and an scar on his chest (from his past battle with Kizaru.
  • Gates (ゲート Gēto) are humans with magical potential. Whenever a Gate gives in to despair, they create a monster called a Phantom. Thus, they are pursued by the Phantoms, who seek to create more of their kind. From there, the created Phantom proceeds to tear down the host's Underworld, the subconscious of the human, before destroying the host itself. Able to assume its host's form, the Phantom proceeds to seek out more Gates and place them deep in despair to repeat the cycle. For Wizard or Beast to stop the sacrifice, they must use an Engage Wizard Ring to remove the feelings of despair and prevent their Inner Phantom from destroying the host's Underworld by destroying the Inner Phantom, with the side effect of the host rendered a normal human.
  • The Gates, located in the middles of the Hades Ring and the Entrance Ring, is a unique Two Way Wormhole that is able to bypass the Stable Gravimetric FTL Inhibitors that will block out Warp, Hyperdrive, Holtzman, and Slipspace transportation. Each one is large enough to fit a Venator Class Star Destroyer through.
  • A gate is a piece of scenery used to access fenced areas. It can be opened and closed and its examine status reflects this state. It says either The gate is open or The gate is closed. Gates are sometimes used like doors to block and keep enemies or players away. File:Gate (large).png

  • Gate is a location within Breath of Fire II.
  • Gate is the main antagonist of Megaman X6.
  • Gates require keys of the same color to open.
  • Fort gates have 3700 health, while Keep gates have 5000 health. Destroying a gate doesn't reward any XP.
  • The Gates are opened when a specific item or object, different for each world, is surrounded in light and is accompanied by a gust of wind. The item in question reveals the Keyhole to a route, which Sora then unseals. Sora, Donald, and Goofy continue on their adventures thereafter with the new route opened. When Sora unlocks a world's gate, a symbol shaped like Sora's crown pendant appears beneath him. It is likely that World within worlds do not have Gates, because the outer world's Gate also serves as their own. This appears to be true for Space Paranoids, 100 Acre Wood, and Timeless River.
  • The Gate is a type of featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
The riddle was: My first is foremost legally, My second circles outwardly, My third leads all in victory, My fourth twice ends a nominee, My whole is this gate's only key Alexander answered his riddle correctly (LOVE), so Gate was forced to keep his word. Gate is the creature that exists in the location known as the 'The Gate to the Lord of the Dead's Hall'. The Gate is voiced by the late Tony Jay, who also voices the Archdruid and Captain Saladin.
  • Gates are blocks that can be used like doors. There are many different types of gates for many different factions, and some plain ones, like wood, iron and bronze. Gates are exactly what they say they are, basically huge doors.

  • A gate, or jump gate, is a method of quickly traveling between systems. Originally a natural phenomenon discovered in the New York system, they have been researched and manufactured by Ageria Technologies and deployed throughout the galaxy with the aid of Deep Space Engineering. Jump gates are armed with six turrets, cannot be disabled, and are capable of moving one group of ships approximately once every ten seconds, though this can be shortened by the player through tailgating and creative use of the Dock command.
  • The Gate is a location that appears in the episode The Legend of the Big Red Chicken.
  • Gate es un investigador Reploid que aparece como el principal antagonista en Mega Man X6 , y es el culpable, y responsable de las almas Nightmare, y la resurrección de Sigma después de su desaparición en Mega Man X5.
There are three colour variations here: white stone gates, which require only three bomb-rocks, gray ones, which require six, and black stone gates, which require nine bomb-rocks. Ordinary black and white gates can also be found with pipes emitting poison gas within, found only in Pikmin 2. These require the resistance of White Pikmin.
  • Syntax: channel 'gate' The gate weave opens a gateway to the specific room identified by the earthcode. Players may pass through it, and so move between the origin and destination rooms, using the enter gate / enter portal command. Gateways last a limited time and the weave drains 5 additional SPs for each person or mob (including horses) that goes through it while it is open. This drain can be avoided by releasing the source before people enter and not embracing again until the next tic. The earthcode for a room may be obtained by weaving gate without any additional argument in that room. One will be unable to obtain an earthcode in certain rooms, and one cannot even open an outgoing gateway from a subset of these places. Earthcodes last until the channeler dies and loses experience (e.g. not from a deathtrap or emote). Attempts to open a gateway using a bad or expired eathcode will fail. Like the travel weave, the range of the gate weave is limited by the caster's prac percentage in the gate weave. Attempting to gate using a valid but out of range earthcode results in a gateway opening to a random location. One can identify the room a gate connects to through the examine portal command, so it is prudent to check before entering to confirm that the target was in range and the gate goes to the expected room. Gateways collapse randomly on tic either one, two, or three tics after their creation, with collapse after two tics being the most common. They also collapse early if too many people not grouped with the caster attempt to enter the portal. Led (not ridden) ungrouped horses can also collapse gates in this way. Gateways also destroy the first item on the ground in both the origin and destination rooms, although certain permanent items like fountains are not effected.
  • At the beginning of the game, each player shuffles their gate deck, places six gate cards from it onto the field, one on each of their circles, and puts the other four into the remove zone. While all types of cards have an associated world, gate cards do not have an associated color, unlike member, tactics, and paradox cards. During gameplay, members are placed on top of gates to defend them, as without a member, the gate is free to be destroyed. Members can also designate circles to attack, destroying the gate on the circle if there is no defending member. Members cannot attack back-row circles if the gate in the front-row circle in the same column has not yet been destroyed.
  • 9th-level conjuration Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S, M (a diamond worth at least 5,000 gp) Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute You conjure a portal linking an unoccupied space you can see within range to a precise location on a different plane of existence. The portal is a circular opening, which you can make 5 to 20 feet in diameter. You can orient the portal in any direction you choose. The portal lasts for the duration. The portal has a front and a back on each plane where it appears. Travel through the portal is possible only by moving through its front. Deities and other planar rulers can prevent portals created by this spell from opening in their presence or anywhere within their domains. If that creature is on a plane other than the one you are on, the portal opens in the named creature’s immediate vicinity and draws the creature through it to the nearest unoccupied space on your side of the portal. You gain no special power over the creature, and it is free to act as the DM deems appropriate. It might leave, attack you, or help you.
  • [[Category:]] Gate was a conjuration spell that connected two planes for two-way travel or the summoning and control of creatures or beings of great power to aid the caster. Older versions of this spell allowed one-way travel for a named entity and requested their help rather than commanding it.
After obtaining the Epoch from Belthasar in the Future, the Epoch's Time Gauge locks onto the temporal coordinates of all the Gates, allowing it to travel to any time period accessible by the Gates (Prehistory, Antiquity, Middle Ages, Present, Apocalypse, Future, End of Time).
In KoF XIII's bad ending, shown if the player fails the conditions to meet Saiki, notices how his plan failed and states that he'll "rewind" everything. It was Ash Crimson the one who actually foiled their plans since he released the energy that was stored from the fighters of the tournament; thus it could be implied that the Gate's failure in the main proper story mode was due to another interference from Ash. If the player manages to meet Saiki, Saiki orders his followers to form an energy barrier in order to power up the Gate. After fighting with the opposing team, Saiki notices that the Gate that should have been completely open has begun to close as two of the Time Spheres were empty. Ash Crimson then appears and kills Saiki, taking his flames with him, but Saiki uses Ash's body for himself, thinking that this will give the gate enough energy to remain open. Upon Evil Ash's defeat, Saiki tells Ash to cross the gate so as to repeat and rewind everything to zero, but Ash just stands before Saiki, using all of his energy to make sure the gate is closed. The gate closes and disappears, taking Saiki with it. But upon realizing the Saiki is Ash's ancestor, he also disappears dying as he shouldn't have existed in the first place without his ancestor. If the player loses to either Saiki or Evil Ash in Story Mode, another bad ending will be triggered. The Gate opens and Saiki smirks, stating that this marks the end of the world. He also states that he has finally achieved his goal to wipe out humanity from existence, as he walks slowly to the light inside the Gate. He then speaks to the doomed inhabitants that he is going to savor this and that he got plenty of time.
A gate may have a latch to keep it from swinging and a lock for security. Larger gates can be used for a whole building, such as a castle or fortified town, or the actual doors that block entry through the gatehouse. Today, many gate doors are opened by an automated gate operator.
  • Cette version du jeu est axée sur l'utilisation du Portail Spatial au détriment de l'usage de flottes.
  • Gate is intelligent and well-known Reploid scientist. Gate had created several other Reploids, all of which were extremely advanced and virtually unequaled in their respective fields. Since his return to the Hunters, he's taken up the task of supporting the Rebellion, along with aiding the Hunters any way he can.
  • Gates are made with Carpentry. They're used as a form of entryway to minor places, like gardens. They're much weaker than doors. A gate can be open/closed by clicking it. It can't be locked, they're see-through, can will allow arrows to pass it.
  • Gates are a special type of Wall that, when unlocked, allow friendly units to pass through. Gates can only be placed on a straight section of wall at least 5 tiles long. Gates do not require Citizens to construct and can only be created by selecting an existing section of Wall, clicking the Gate button and placing a Gate on any green highlighted section of Wall. Gates can be upgraded at a Town Center or a Capitol.
  • Gate (ゲイト Geito?) is a Reploid scientist and main antagonist of Mega Man X6. He used to be a colleague of Alia. His goal is the creation of the ultimate Reploid and a new world order for only supreme Reploids. He is completely devoted to his work and will do whatever it takes in order to achieve what he desires most. • This powerful summoning spell opens a portal to the Lower Planes, calling forth a horned devil.
  • There are ten gates in and around Vizima, though only nine are in evidence in the game.
  • Gate is a tall male Reploid in purple armor. His clear face is recognizable for his sharp purple eyes and a confident expression. Facially, Gate appears to be slightly older than X and Zero. His helmet is distinguished by a pair of metallic blades running across the sides and a diamond shaped blue gem. Another blue gem with the shape of a pentagon is located on the center of his chestplate. He is more defined however by his white lab coat featuring gold accents and cuffs. He wears a long white labcoat on top of his armor, adorned by golden bands around the collar and the wrists.
  • Gates are defensive walls used to keep the robots away from the human half of the mountain, some of the most well known ones are the giant one protecting the Sentai Fortress, and a smaller one included in the Gate Defense.
  • The Gate is a sentient being and is literally the gate that the goddesses (among other beings) use for travelling between worlds - on Earth, she looks like a young girl. From people who travel through her, she gathers information that even surpasses the knowledge of the goddesses. But when Peorth is recalled to heaven concerning an urgent matter, she can't return because the Gate went on strike. Summoned by the goddesses, the Gate appears at the temple and wants to have first hand experience on real life, emotions, and specifically, romantic relationships (we later find out that's why she came to Keiichi and Belldandy - their story has made its way even to her.) She sometimes feels alone on her ancient duty of letting people travel through her and wants to overcome that by experiencing love from Keiichi - unaware of the complexities of relationships and honest love. After some more incidents (and one of Belldandy's jealousy storms) the Gate begins to understand what Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship is all about - and that loving someone is not as easy as she thought - and returns to her duty.
  • In the Wii version, gates are linked to Legacy Medals. In each level that has Legacy Medals, 3 of the medals (1 Bronze, 1 Silver, and 1 Gold) are each hidden in a bonus 2D room (which also contains Gravitons). The main level has 3 gates, each leading to one of the 2D rooms. These gates have a number above them, indicating the number of Gravitons required to go through the gate; if Rodea doesn't have enough Gravitons, the gate won't open. In each 2D room, a second gate will lead Rodea back to the main level. Each gate disappears after being crossed.
However, true polyphonic synths extend the concept so that a gate signal exists (conceptually if not in actual implementation) for each voice. Gate signals can also represent the state of switches and other events with two states. Compare with trigger.
Those that do listen, however, become members of a legacy known as the Secret Order of the Gate. Some ponder that the Exarchs fear the Gate, their forlorn brother knowing secrets beyond truth and reason that could not be matched if brought to bear. If true, then the Lonely Exarch has yet to confront his fellow tyrants, which, perhaps, leads to all the more paranoia from Exarch and Seer alike.
