abstract
  • Kesh (first Occupation Lost Tribe of Sith) Kesh is a remote planet located in Wild Space. It is a mountainous planet, holding the Takara Mountains - originally called the Cetajan Mountains. This range of mountains is bordering a large ocean. In 5,000 BBY, during the Great Hyperspace War, Omen, a Sith starship carrying Lignan crystals crashed on this mountainous planet. Though it was not technologically advanced, the survivors of the crash established a Sith community and over millennia they grew into an order of substantial number. This Sith community met with the planet's native sentient species, the Keshiri, they convinced them that they were their gods, the Skyborn. The Keshiri then helped the Sith to build a Temple over the crash-site of the Omen,in the Takara Mountains. The black spires and towers were simple; only after several years, when the colonists had established themselves, did they begin to add a flair of artistry to the Temple. Several statues were placed inside. In 41.5 ABY, the inhabitants of Kesh regained space travel for the first time in over five thousand years. The Sith on their side spent the next two years capturing ships and creating a Sith armada. Two years later, the fleet contained several dozen ships, including the rebuilt Omen. After sensing the presence of exiled Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker through the force, a strike team was put together to hunt down and kill Skywalker. It was also at this time that the Sith left Kesh. It was around 100 ABY that during a diplomatic mission with the Keshiri several Sith Artefacts were discovered in an ancient Sith Temple. The Keshiri decided to degrade the Sith Temple but to keep the ancients Sith artefacts. A new Library was built and a new water irrigation system was installed. During the work an additional ancient Sith grotto was discovered as well several evidences of Jedi presence on the planet. Kesh (Present 230 ABY) The planet Kesh shows a completely new face to the Galaxy. For some reasons unknown at that time, the ancient Sith Temple collapsed completely. Searching near its ruins, the workers found out the traces of a very old building. Few traces found nearby allowed to date it before the installations of the Sith on Kesh and it may have been related somehow to the Jedi. Now restored, the building is used as a Royal Palace for the monarchy which is also proposing a few other facilities. The nearby forest offers a garden like environment. The planet is led by the princess, Amidala Nightfire, former Jedi now converted to a secular way of government. Princess Amidala Nightfire is looking forward that Kesh stays out of the actual conflicts as much as possible. With the recent arrival on Kesh of several Jedi Knights, the Princess Amidala Nightfire established the "Kesh Force Academy" on the planet. Independent of the Jedi presence, the Kesh Force Academy sees its actual duty in furthering the beliefs and knowledge of the force, to aid all individuals in their personal quest for spiritual fulfilment, regardless of the 'aspect' (Light/Dark/Shadow/Independent or none at all) of their choice.

The former Dark Jedi also imprisoned their leader Sith Lord Remulus Dreypa within an oubliette, where he would remain for the next four millennia. The Great Calamity by later generations of Keshiri living on both continents as a "Great Battle" between the Protectors and Destructors. In 5000 BBY, the Keshiri living on Keshtah Minor submitted to Sith rule after stranded Sith survivors from the Sith starship Omen convinced them that they were the Skyborn, gods in Keshiri religion. These Human Sith evolved into the Sith Tribe and became the dominant state in Kesh for the next five millennia. The Omen's captain, Yaru Korsin, became the first Grand Lord of the Tribe and was responsible for establishing its basic political and social institutions, which would shape and influence Keshiri society for the next five thousand years. In 3960 BBY, Keshtah Minor descended into a millennium of chaos and anarchy following the death of the reigning Grand Lord Lillia Venn during the Night of the Upside-Down Meteor. In 3000 BBY, the Caretaker Varner Hilts managed to reunite the Tribe after discovering maps which confirmed the existence of a second continent, Keshtah Major, which was known as Alanciar to its inhabitants, the Alanciari. Under the leadership of Grand Lord Hilts, the Tribe annexed Alanciar in 2975 BBY, which was home to another Keshiri civilization, who called themselves the Alanciari. Using Alanciar's abundant resources and industrial base, the Sith were able to build a fleet of wooden sailing vessels which enabled them to explore and conquer the other landmasses and seas of Kesh particularly in the unexplored northern hemisphere. The 2974 BBY, the Sith discovered the southern polar continent of Eshkrene and the Doomed. That same year, the ancient Sith Lord Remulus Dreypa was also killed in an brief outbreak of violence. In 41 ABY, the Lost Tribe rediscovered interstellar travel when an ancient Sith Meditation Sphere known as Ship landed on the planet and allied itself with the Tribe. The Tribe then assembled a Sith armada and sought to expand into the galaxy. This put them into contact and conflict with both the New Jedi Order and a powerful entity known as Abeloth.
