Walker Edmiston was an American character actor and voice-over artist. He was the voice of Ludwig von Drake after Paul Frees's retiremen, and was succeeded by Corey Burton shortly afterwards. His other Disney roles included Sir Thornberry in Adventures of the Gummi Bears, a citizen and a thug guard in The Great Mouse Detective, a radio announcer in Dick Tracy and additional voices in the 1988 Disney TV movie Goodbye, Miss 4th of July and Dumbo's Circus. Outside of Disney, his best-known roles include Dishonest John in Beany and Cecil, and Inferno in the original Transformers cartoon.

  • Walker Edmiston was an American character actor and voice-over artist, who hosted his own children's puppet show in the 1950s and 1960s. In animation, also provided the voices of Squiddly Diddly and Yakky Doodle in the TV movie, Yogi's Ark Lark (starring Daws Butler and Don Messick, Inferno in The Transformers TV series (starring Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Casey Kasem, and Messick), and Sir Thornberry in Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears (starring Jim Cummings, June Foray, Corey Burton, and Jason Marsden). He died of cancer in 2007, at the age of 81.

He even hosted his own kid's show, The Walker Edmiston Show, during the 1950s and early 1960s. He went on to work on several children's programs developed by Sid and Marty Krofft, including the venerable H.R. Pufnstuf, on which he voiced Freddy, the talking gold flute. In 1962, Edmiston released a novelty song entitled I Dreamt I Saw Kruschev (In a Pink Caddilac), in which he sang both on the voice of Barky, the dog from his show, and the voice of the Soviet leader.
