  • Rupert is one of Mr. Bean's friends. He visits Mr. Bean's apartment in Do It Yourself, Mr. Bean.
  • When the demon from Hell rose up to Transylvania to force Professor Frank N. Stein into making him an army of the undead, it was Rupert who is suggested to have written Max's introduction speech and expressed slight exasperation when Max commented on Frank's lawnmower (that he is accused to have borrowed and not given back). As Max's financial advisor, he later worried about how much over budget this operation was going, particularly with high graverobber fees. Rupert then accompanied Max in a search for Chuck D. Head and was over the moon when they found him, informing Max that it was time for the classic struggle between good and evil. Despite Max not wanting a fight, Rupert highlighted that pacifism would lead to fallen shares in Max D. Cap plc, so the fight began. Rupert eagerly watched the brawl, rampantly urging Max to attack a fallen Chuck. During the scrap, Rupert even forced Max to recite a speech the accountant had wrote, but despaired when he called himself 'invisible' rather than 'invincible'. Later, Rupert rallied the troops to abandon Castle Frank N. Stein, calling it an emergency (since the Blockbusters contestant had just been created). A final word of warning from Max was called 'lovely' by Rupert, finally admiring his boss's evilness. Rupert was later discovered by Max's side on the death train to Hell, producing a list of dead people that included the four main heroes (although their names had been added to the list by ballpoint pen, possibly by him). Max was happy to let them all go, but Rupert once again brought up Max's reputation and pledged to ensure they were dead by producing a gun and firing. Again, Rupert's bloodthirsty side shone through and the accountant repeatedly urged Max on to "roast [Chuck] alive". At the final carriage of the train, Rupert insisted that Chuck would be in "serious trouble" if he pulled the emergency brake lever, despite the direness of Chuck's situation anyway. Once at Hell itself, Rupert warned Chuck that the fuss over being alive was just making things worse for himself. Rupert's persuasive side came through once more when he convinced the Thin Controller to keep the "three" alive people (not counting Head as a separate being) in Hell despite not being dead. After the woman in charge decided instead to keep Frank to herself and let the others free, Rupert angrily informed Chuck and Igor to save up for a wedding present.
  • Rupert was an uncle of Lieutenant George, who became Minister of War in 1917. Being about to be killed by a firing squad, Captain Blackadder instructed Private Baldrick to get George to send a telegram to Rupert, preventing the execution. However, instead of sending a telegram, George and Baldrick got drunk and forgot about it. Luckily, Rupert had already been informed about how General Melchett had handled Blackadder's trial, thanks to a letter that George's mother received (which was intended for Captain Blackadder, but had incorrectly been sent by Baldrick). In the last second, Rupert overturned Blackadder's sentence, allowing him to escape the firing squad.

Rupert was at first Gerald's officer, but soon went on to command his own unit. He was responsible for saving Hironiden by bringing an allied contingence of Dwarfs and Elves to battle.

  • Rupert is a character featured in Fable II. He is the son of Giles, a former guard turned farmer, and Jennifer. Originally from Bowerstone, Giles moved his family to Brightwood to start a farm. Unfortunately, shortly after relocating, Giles and his family began to be tormented by the bandit Ripper and his clan. When the trouble started, Giles sent Rupert to Bowerstone so he would be safe. While he was away, Rupert's mother, Jennifer, was killed during one of Ripper's raids by a thug named Ethan. The Hero of Bowerstone can choose to help bring Ripper and company to justice, or murder Giles on behalf of the bandits. If the Hero, playing on the evil path, murders Giles, Rupert remains in Bowerstone and is never seen. If the Hero, playing on the good path, aids Giles and eliminates Ripper's gang, then Rupert moves back in with his father once it is safe. If the Hero helped Giles, then, upon returning from the Spire, then the Hero will find that in the past 10 years Giles has flourished, his farm growing into a small settlement. He asks the Hero of another favour: help his son find a wife, thus starting The Blind Date quest. Upon talking to Rupert, in order to find out his ideal woman, Rupert reveals that he is not interested in girls and is, in fact, a homosexual. The Hero can choose to try to find a wife anyway, for evil points, or attempt to find a suitable husband, for good points. Either way, upon returning Rupert comes out to his father. Giles is happy for his son and agrees to move to Bowerstone with him, and the pair are never seen again.

Rupert felt challenged by it and demanded three pieces of Blackrock and 7000 gold pieces for the work. However, when coming back later, Rupert claimed that it had failed and also refused a refund. Only after cleansing the Shrine of Honor did Rupert reveal that he'd kept the sword for himself, giving it to the Avatar along with a 2000 gold pieces refund for the trouble he'd given the hero.

  • Rupert is Stewie Griffin's teddy bear. Though inanimate, Rupert has become his personal confidant and best friend. Stewie confides all his secrets and machinations in Rupert, and often gets upset when Rupert does not respond. Rupert has also been known to double as a pistol when needed. Image:Rupert.jpg Rupert is first seen as a brown teddy bear, but in later episodes he appears more orange. Rupert has been damaged several times. The first time in a flashback in "Stu & Stewie's Excellent Adventure", Stewie argued with Brian about the economy and Brian decided to eat one of Rupert's legs; Stewie got the leg back after a while. The second time involved encountering an unfamiliar Rottweiler dog in "Stewie Loves Lois". Rupert was torn to shreds but was later fixed by Stewie's mother Lois. It also seems that when Rupert doubles as a gun, his head needs to be ripped off, and Lois seems to fix that by the next scene in the episode. Also, in "A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas", Stewie tears Rupert in two, after waking up from a Santa Claus-themed nightmare. In "Killer Queen", Stewie shoots Rupert in the head with a gun rather than risk letting him die a worse death when he sees the cover of a Queen album. In "Lois Comes Out of Her Shell", Sheldon tears Rupert's head off and leaves it in a box for Stewie to find. In "The Man with Two Brians", he is humped by New Brian for two hours. Stewie then is then shown dragging a body in to the garbage, later revealed to be New Brian. At the end of the episode Stewie is shown crying in the shower and washing Rupert in despair, constantly reassuring him that it wasn't his fault. In "Chick Cancer", when Stewie married Olivia Fuller, he had Rupert officiate the ceremony. "8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage Daughter" had the creation of "Stewpert", a being where Stewie and Rupert were fused together after Stewie activated his teleportation device before he realized Rupert was inside, in reference to Brundlefly of The Fly. Stewie had several times referred to him as gay. Stewie accused Rupert of choosing to watch the boys in "Road to Rhode Island" as opposed to watching their bags as Stewie has told him to, much to Stewie's chagrin. Stewie has also imagined Rupert as a muscular, human male a few times, including in "Road to the North Pole", where he builds a buff Rupert snowman in the opening credit sequence. However, Rupert retains his Teddy Bear head. During these dreams, Rupert is voiced by David Boat. In a DVD exclusive scene in "Excellence in Broadcasting", Stewie explores the experience of masturbating and in his fantasy buff Rupert makes out with an equally buff Brian while Stewie is tied to the bed. Rupert is recalled by the toy company in "Total Recall" and Stewie launches an all-out effort to recover him before he is destroyed. In the courtroom scene in "The Simpsons Guy", Stewie is seen holding Rupert next to Mr. Burns who is holding his teddy bear Bobo. In "Stewie, Chris & Brian's Excellent Adventure", Rupert tells the other stuffed animals that he is straight, despite Stewie's playing.
