  • First appearing as Trixie Rogers, the non-powered and non-costumed crime-fighter in a text story in Dime Comics #5, Trixie later became the super-powered Wing in Joke Comics #4. In her civilian identity, she wrote stories about the super-hero Wing. In her third appearance, she completely took part in the homefront war effort by working in an aeroplane factory and foiling a sabotage plot. She once teamed up with Nitro.
  • Wing is the leader of the Autobot group known as the Multiforce. This also makes him half of the combiner duo Wingwaver and the head module of Landcross. Wing is practically indistinguishable from Wingwaver by personality except that he is possibly even more gutsy. Wing has shown no hesitation in facing six-to-one odds. Wing is almost always the top half of Wingwaver and gives the duo form his dashing good looks. Where he gets his winning personality might be more of a mystery.

  • Wing is the leader of a Chinese opera theater troupe, and an old friend of Uncle.
  • Wing is a part of a wrecked plane that crashed on the summit of Timberwolf Mountain. There are 2 locations with the same name: one on the summit and the other one is roughly between Echo Peak West and Forest Cave.
  • A Wing is a unit of the Starfleet Starfighter Corps composed of two groups of three squadrons each, totaling seventy-two starfighters. To complement the support craft and personnel assigned to the two groups, a wing has an additional Warhammer-class SWACS runabout, an extra Raptor-class COD, a Viper-class Attack Craft for the Wing Commander's personal use in combat, and an Asgard-class Command Runabout, also assigned to the Wing Commander (the SFFC equivalent of a Captain's Yacht). There are also an additional forty to fifty support personnel. A wing is usually commanded by a Colonel.
  • This item gives its user's board a pair of wings that lessen the weight of the rider for a period of time, allowing them to get more air when they jump. This item can also help the player avoid shots more easily.

  • In the Air Training Corps a Wing is an administrative subdivision of a Region. Each squadron of the Air Training Corps belongs to a named Wing, which offers support and guidance to the squadrons it serves. Each Wing is commanded by an officer in the Volunteer Reserves, usually of rank Wing Commander. There are thirty six Wings in the Air Training Corps; six in each of the six Regions.

  • Wing (ウイング, Uingu) is Zushi's teacher and introduced Killua Zoldyck and Gon Freecss to Nen. He is an assistant master of Shingen-ryū Kung-Fu and a former student of Biscuit Krueger.
  • Within the context of instances, "wing" can refer to either a member of a series of clustered instances (such as the wings of the Caverns of Time and Tempest Keep), or a section of a single instances (such as Naxxramas' wings). Ulduar has examples of both types of wing: the Ulduar complex has both dungeon wings and a raid wing, and the Ulduar raid instance has several wings.
  • Wings are an accessory used to "fly". In fly, we mean hover above the ground making your speed faster. You get it when you reach level 24. You receive a quest from Farouk in Alker Harbor to find him some floating stones. After this quest is completed and turned in, he sends you to talk to four NPCs (You get to choice which one) for another quest. Depending on the npc you talk to, you get different kinds of wings. Now then, which NPC will give you what? This is what I have so far: 1.) Talking to Boucheron will give you an airship. The quest is to get 10 thin steel plates from mimics.

This Tool can help you solve the problem of how to get from here to there when those legz of Goo won't do the trick! • While Kirby has always had the ability to fly, Wing allows him to do so at a much faster rate. Wing specializes in strengthening Kirby's in-air capabilities and long ranged attacks. Although attacks like Feather Gun can take on enemies from long distances, they still lack power. Wing has issues against bosses, especially in Kirby Super Star, as many of the moves are short-ranged and have laggy endings, usually resulting in being directly on top of the boss and taking damage. However, many of Wing's moves have gained additional power and invincibility in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, making it safer to use against bosses.
  • Wing is a fictional proprietary statistic of Stick Ranger, applied to the Valkyrie class. The only way to increase this stat is by SP invested into DEX. This stat when above 0, will enable the Valkyrie to fly, and for every SP added into DEX, the Wing stat goes up in 2:1 ratio. (2 DEX = 1 Wing) For every 1 total point of "Wing" added to Valkyrie, the Valkyrie can increase the height limit of flight by 5 pixels and can fly 0.5 px/s faster. Otherwise, the Valkyrie can also walk/swim like other characters if no SP is put into DEX.
  • A wing is the basic level of organization in a Weyr. They are considered full-sized at 33 dragons, and are lead by a wingleader with two wingseconds assisting. Wings may be smaller than 33, particularly in the middle of a Pass, with twelve considered the bare minimum. The wing is the largest permanent unit below the Weyr itself. There are generally nine wings in a Weyr. Their membership is generally very stable, and Weyrleaders prefer to transfer whole wings between Flights, rather than individual dragonriders.
  • A wing (also called an attack wing or unit) is a Starfleet designation for a grouping of between three and ten starships usually commanded by a senior captain. Multiple wings are usually grouped into a tactical wing. There are three types of wings. If a wing is made up of only one class of starship then it is referred to as a class wing. This is the most common wing organization as ships of the same class work well together and can resupply each other. Wings made up similar types of starships are referred to as type wings, for example cruiser wing, carrier wing or fighter wing.

Wings dienen aber auch dazu, das wenn spieler eigentlich zu schlecht für eine Allianz sind, diese Allianz andere Spieler aber auch nicht ausschließen will, eine Zweite Allianz gründet in die eben diese Spieler kommen.
  • A Wing is generally a smaller grouping within a Squadron, usually consisting of a Wing Commander/Leader, and his Wingman. Thus a Squadron maybe divided into several Wings often designated by Greek (Alpha Wing, Delta Wing, etc) or Military/Navy phonetic alphabet letter (Baker Wing). However, it appears sometimes (especially within the novels and TV Show) the term 'wing' seems to be used in place of a 'squadron' name, and designate a much larger force or group. The Red Wing and Blue Wing at the academy for example had 4 ships each. A wing of Jalthi during the Firekkan Campaign had sixteen ships.

Finally, destroyer wings are mixed matched wings of vessels no larger then a cruiser. Wings do not have permanent designation as tactical wings do. If the Starfleet Fifth Fleet and Starfleet Second Fleet combine forces for example, the 4th destroyer wing, Fifth Fleet might be changed to 12th destroyer wing as part of the combined force. They will then disappear and make it look as though you're floating on your own.) thumb|300px|right|Flying with black wings.

Otherwise, the Valkyrie can also walk/swim like other characters if no SP is put into DEX. Wing also determines the total length of their wings, measured by this formula: e.g., With 50 DEX, it can fly to an altitude of about 125 pixels (100 DEX required for maximum altitude; as it is counted from the stickman's feet all the way to the top of the screen), and maximum velocity while flying can be no higher than about 12.5 pixels/second. Their wings would be instead of 15 pixels wide - 37 pixels wide.

Wing utilizes feathers and other such things as means of attacking. However, Kirby's new wings also allow for electricity-themed attacks that (oftentimes) can only be executed in mid-air. After a long hiatus, Wing returned alongside another ability from Kirby Super Star, Plasma, in Kirby Air Ride. When used, Kirby loses his Air Ride Machine and instead flies along the track on his own. Wing Kirby's maximum ground speed is 28kph, but cannot charge up a boost. The Wing ability only lasts a few seconds in this game. Kirby can still perform the equivalent of the quick-spin attack, only that he spins without a machine. Meta Knight flies using the wing ability, except it lasts forever. Coincidentally, Meta Knight also can't charge or boost. Where there is strong wind, Wing is an ideal ability to use, because Kirby can soar through it, something he can't normally do with any other ability. Meta Knight uses this ability in both Meta Knightmare games, and his wing flaps even damage foes on contact.

While a SpongeGun will alwayz push an enemy directly away from the shooter, Wingz might actually cause the enemy to come closer to the shooter! The effect of Wingz is to push the enemy Grunt to any one of the nine Tilez (yes, nine!) nearest the Grunt ... including the Tile the Grunt is already standing on! If you want to create a frustrating puzzle, create a situation where the solver must use Wingz to push an enemy Grunt to a specific location. Those Wingz, although weak, reduce the health of an enemy Grunt each time the tornado hitz, so the solver may turn that enemy Grunt into Goo before they can manage to push the Grunt to where the solver needz it!
