  • This page is intended to define the INTERSLAVIC word form for the ENGLISH word at the top of the column to the right. If the INTERSLAVC box is "blank", then a word form has not yet been selected. Immediately below the INTERSLAVIC box is a link entitled "discussion about this word" - which will link you to a "Discussion" page specifically for the WORD at point. Below the Discussion Page link, under "PRIRODNE JEZYKI" ("Natural Languages") are listed the various modern Slavic natural languages - in their respective native language forms (NOTE: some natural language may be missing) Finally, below the Natural Languages section, is the "Constructed Languages" section - "Postavjene Jezyki" - which includes "Slovio" "Novosloviensky" (NeoSlavonic) and "Slovianski". The "Slovio" project is no longer active. "Novosloviensky" and "Slovianski", on the other hand, have joined together as "INTERSLAVIC" or "MEDŽUSLOVJANSKI" - each offering a slightly different grammatical format. Here you may access and edit this information.

  • Horses are creatures that can be found in the wild, but are often owned by humans.
  • The horse appears to be common on Rathillien, both among the Kencyr and native populations.
  • The horse evolved over the past 4 to 6 weeks from a small multi-toed creature, most likely an otter or other small weaselly thing of some sort, or maybe like a newt or mouse, into the large, single-toed animal of today. Humans, never content to leave shit alone, began to domesticate horses around last Tuesday, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread by late Thursday evening, although they did not reach Australia until the next morning. The horse is today extinct in the wild, killed by the millions for their delicious tongues and soft, salty nose hairs. The horse is one of only three acceptable subjects for a painting, along with ships with sails and men holding swords while staring off into the distance. While some would argue that perhaps vases of colorful flowers or landscapes with pretty clouds might also be acceptable, these notions couldn't be further from the truth as these are terrible, dreadful subjects for any painting.
  • A Horse is large animal that is mainly used for transportation and travel within the world of Elder Tale.
  • Horses are a recurring race in the The Legend of Zelda series. They are often ridden and utilized in other ways by other races.
  • Horses are four-legged animals regularly used as mounts and means of transportation by Humans.
  • The horse is the standard mount for Heroes of the Storm. The base mount and two of its skins are free; others can be purchased for File:IconGem.png100 per skin.
  • A horse is a domesticated animal that is mostly used for transportation. In mainstream Smurfs media, Sir Johan rides upon a horse named Bayard. Various other characters tend to use horses as their main source of transportation, either saddleback or driving a stage coach, in both the comics and cartoon show. In another cartoon episode, 'Revenge Of The Smurfs", there are some horses that rampaged through the village as some soldiers are retreating. In the later part of the episode, Smurfette, Hefty, Jokey, and Greedy go to the camp and free the military horses to give a trick to the soldiers who destroyed their village. In season 6, Nightmare is a horse that appeared in the episodes "Lazy's Nightmare" and "Sleepless Smurfs." It can breathe fire and is the horse of the evil Dream Demon Morphio who uses it for a easy way to chase the Smurfs in the Evil Dreamworld. In the time-travel episode "Phantom Bagpiper", the Smurfs met two horses, Cassie and Scotty, who belong to Laird Milton McKilty. However, an evil man, Frugal McDougal, steals Scotty from Milton along with some Smurfs. In order to help rescue Scotty, the Smurfs and McDougal decided to have a horse race. Smurfette becomes the jockey of Cassie to match with McDougal. By the end of the story, the Smurfs win and Scotty and the captured Smurfs are returned.
  • The horse is a domesticated animal of Deltora and Dorne that is frequently used as a mount or beast of burden. The animal is raised and bred to a high standard in D'Or and has many varieties. Horseshoes are forged by a blacksmith and are nailed to a horse's hooves for protection.
  • Horses are animals from vanilla Minecraft which can be found in Middle-earth, and are the most common type of mount used by mounted NPCs in the mod, as well as being a relatively easily-obtained mount for players in the early game. The mod's horses, in general, work in the same way as the vanilla horses, but they have some different properties: see below for more on this. Of all regions of Middle-earth, horses can be found most commonly in the Rohan, but they also appear in many other areas all across the world. There is also a smaller breed of horse known as the Shire pony which is endemic to the Shire.
  • Hol Horse is the retarded older brother of Jimmy Brando. He first appeared in episode 10 as one of Jimmy's 400 stand users. He's a homosexual and has a huge crush on George Lopez. He is killed when he gets in front of Jimmy and blasted by Bug-A-Boo's mouth flames.
  • Horse is an animal that makes an appearance in Hitman: Contracts in only one mission, that is Beldingford Manor. They are kept in the stables where Giles Northcott is kept prisoner and will alert the nearby guards if 47 walks past them. However, they can be killed stealthily by poisoning the water tank with weed killer or they can simply be sneaked past.
  • Thể loại:Soul Horse (ホース) là Soul xuất hiện trong Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy.
  • The horse is an animal that makes several appearances throughout the series. The most recurring horse is a brown, short-legged horse with flies flying around it.
  • A horse is often known as a solar symbol, and is a symbol of intelligence in the Bible. Depending on what color it is, the horse symbolizes destruction or victory. For example the white horse symbolizes light, sun, day vitality, illumination, resurrection, and messenger of birth. Sometimes, horses are related to the sun, moon, and water. It acts as the mediator between Earth and Heaven. Horse symbolizes power, grace, beauty, nobility, strength, and freedom. Historically, the best horses have often been only available to the upper classes, who in turn used them as symbols of status, for hunting and other recreation, and for use in warfare. This is shown in the social hierarchies of Greece (see "hippies"), Rome (see "equites"), and Medieval Europe (see "knights"). However, this was not a strictly European tendency, as the same general trend occurred wherever horses were present. For this reason, horses can be associated with wealth, status, nobility, and war.
  • A horse is a type of large land mammal. Because horses can travel faster and farther than humans, and can eat grasses and other common vegetation, they have been long used by humans as domesticated animals, primarily for riding, and pulling land vehicles. Used as mounts around the world before the development of motor vehicles, horses play a role in the culture of many nations.
  • The horse is a domesticated perisodactyl mammal of the equine family.
  • Horses of the Old World are the same as horses of our own and may be found nearly anywhere. About 10% of all wild Horses are suitable for training as Warhorses. Normal Horses can be ridden by creatures under 10 feet tall and of any alignment. Warhorses are trained to fight in combat. Unlike other Horses, they have an attack of their own (a kick/stomp) and can even fight independently of their rider.
  • Along with ponies and donkeys- as well as a variety of other creatures- horses are an animal on Howrse, which you can interact with on a number of levels including training, care and competitions. * Akhal-Teke * Appaloosa * Arabian Horse * Argentinean Criollo * Barb -International * Brumby * Canadian horse -International * Curly * French Trotter * Friesian * Gypsy Vanner * Hackney -International * Hanoverian * Holsteiner * Irish Hunter * Icelandic Horse * Knabstrupper * KWPN * Lipizzaner * Lusitano -International * Mangalarga Marchador * Marwari -International * Morgan -International and US * Mustang * Nokota * Paint Horse * Peruvian Paso -International * Percheron * Purebred Spanish Horse * Quarter Horse * Russian Don Horse -International * Shagya Arabian * Standardbred -International * Shire * Tennessee Walker * Thoroughbred * Trakehner -International
  • Horse is a comedy brickfilm by Anthony D'Angelo about a lord who is denied access to a fort over concerns regarding his horse. It was an entry to the first Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest and placed third in the final results. It features the same knight and horse from D'Angelo's Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest 4 entry, What You Give is What You Get.
  • Horses on Abeir-Toril were used for riding and pulling.
  • A horse was a type of mammal used for riding.
  • Outside of these areas, alternatives were used for horses. The Legend of the Golden Axe has heroes and villains riding on a variety of Bizarrian steeds. Recent Nameless Zone stories see that winged horses are a mode of transport within the Land Beyond.
  • Base profile for a Horse.
  • According to Captain Picard the Arabs believed that Allah gathered the south wind and made the horse. (TNG: "Pen Pals" ) A horse race was televised in 1996 and picked up along the channels monitored by Neelix and Kes when the USS Voyager was stranded in the year. (VOY: "Future's End") Christopher Pike once owned two horses, Tango and Mary Lou, prior to his service aboard the USS Enterprise. (TOS: "The Cage" ) In noting Scott's timing with repairing the Enterprise just as they reached Spacedock following her battle with the USS Reliant, Captain Kirk remarked that he "fixed the barn door after the horse has come home." (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock) In the alternate reality created by Nero's temporal incursion, Montgomery Scott described the notion of transwarp beaming as being like "trying to hit a bullet with a smaller bullet, whilst wearing a blindfold, riding a horse." (Star Trek) James Kirk's uncle owned a farm in Idaho which contained horses. Kirk often rode his uncle's horses through the countryside and would often jump over a large chasm, an act which "scared the hell" out of him each time. It was during one of these horseback rides that Kirk met Antonia in 2282. Kirk revisited the farm while trapped within the Nexus and, along with Captain Jean-Luc Picard, rode a horse out to meet Antonia in an attempt to "do things right from day one." It was only after having no fear when jumping over the familiar chasm that Kirk realized what he was experiencing was not real, and opted to leave the Nexus with Picard. (Star Trek Generations) When in 2369 the imaginations of the Deep Space 9 residents became reality, Julian Bashir created an illusory Jadzia Dax who told the real Jadzia Dax that she should get off of her high horse and appreciate Bashir. (DS9: "If Wishes Were Horses") Captain Picard gave a statue of a horse created in the Chinese Sung Dynasty as a gift to the Ligonian ruler Lutan in early 2364. (TNG: "Code of Honor" ) The fictional character Dixon Hill, a private investigator in San Francisco on Earth in the 1940s, had a photograph of a horse riding race on his wall. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye" ) Programs featuring riding horses were stored on the holodeck on the USS Enterprise-D including Equestrian Adventure. Captain Picard himself was fond of horseback riding and actually had a saddle aboard the Enterprise. (TNG: "Suddenly Human" , "Pen Pals" , "Starship Mine" ; Star Trek: First Contact) The Caretaker included two horses into his holographic farm recreation on his array in 2371. (VOY: "Caretaker") The workshop of the holographic Leonardo da Vinci in a city on an alien planet featured the statue of a horse. (VOY: "Concerning Flight")
  • Humans used horses as transportation for thousands of years. They could be directly mounted or used to pull vehicles. (TV: The King's Demons, The Unquiet Dead)

  • The horse (Equus ferus caballus) is one of two extant subspecies of Equus ferus. It is an odd-toed ungulate mammal belonging to the taxonomic family Equidae. The horse has evolved over the past 45 to 55 million years from a small multi-toed creature, Eohippus, into the large, single-toed animal of today. Humans began to domesticate horses around 4000 BC, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread by 3000 BC. Horses in the subspecies caballus are domesticated, although some domesticated populations live in the wild as feral horses. These feral populations are not true wild horses, as this term is used to describe horses that have never been domesticated, such as the endangered Przewalski's horse, a separate subspecies, and the only remaining true wild horse. There is an extensive, specialized vocabulary used to describe equine-related concepts, covering everything from anatomy to life stages, size, colors, markings, breeds, locomotion, and behaviour. Horses' anatomy enables them to make use of speed to escape predators and they have a well-developed sense of balance and a strong fight-or-flight response. Related to this need to flee from predators in the wild is an unusual trait: horses are able to sleep both standing up and lying down. Female horses, called mares, carry their young for approximately 11 months, and a young horse, called a foal, can stand and run shortly following birth. Most domesticated horses begin training under saddle or in harness between the ages of two and four. They reach full adult development by age five, and have an average lifespan of between 25 and 30 years. Horse breeds are loosely divided into three categories based on general temperament: spirited "hot bloods" with speed and endurance; "cold bloods", such as draft horses and some ponies, suitable for slow, heavy work; and "warmbloods", developed from crosses between hot bloods and cold bloods, often focusing on creating breeds for specific riding purposes, particularly in Europe. There are more than 300 breeds of horse in the world today, developed for many different uses. Horses and humans interact in a wide variety of sport competitions and non-competitive recreational pursuits, as well as in working activities such as police work, agriculture, entertainment, and therapy. Horses were historically used in warfare, from which a wide variety of riding and driving techniques developed, using many different styles of equipment and methods of control. Many products are derived from horses, including meat, milk, hide, hair, bone, and pharmaceuticals extracted from the urine of pregnant mares. Humans provide domesticated horses with food, water and shelter, as well as attention from specialists such as veterinarians and farriers.

But by the 2170's, horses had long been extinct in the American wastelands. Although there are rumors that horses have been seen in scattered records and that they are still present in southern Central America. Also, certain species have been created by radiation, while romantics refer to them as 'Unicorns' many people know them by there earthier descriptions of 'Knobheads'. Both types of horses have retained their pre-War characteristics of speed, strength, and versatility. They are a multifarious species in that they can be used to scout and to make war, for food and hide and to pull heavy loads such as caravans. In this, they are near if not more useful than brahmin.

  • A horse is a hooved species of mammal. They were domesticated by humans thousands of years ago and are commonly used as mounts. In the Medieval ages, among other time periods, horses were used by human soldiers for combat. A knight from the Medieval ages named Sir William de Mornay used his horse when he attacked a Dracorex that had came from an anomaly in the Cretaceous, thinking it was a dragon attacking his village. Upon locating the Dracorex drinking in the forest, he kicked his horse onto the charge. The horse reared up and whinnied then began to gallop after the fleeing dinosaur. The knight rode after the Dracorex, following it through another anomaly to the present. He rode his horse through through the streets of London, looking for the Dracorex (which was by now in Abby's care) After being frightened by a motorbike's engine, the horse reared up on its hind legs, throwing the knight off and running off. The horse returned to the the church where it and its rider had come (which was now in ruins) and the knight found it grazing there. The knight rode on his horse to reach the location where he thought the " dragon " was. After causing some trouble, de Mornay was convinced by the ARC team to spare the Dracorex (which was taken to the ARC and kept in the ARC's menagerie) He returned to his own time, taking his steed with him. The horse tried to get free but was secured by its harness to the wrecked carriage, finally the horse kicked off its harness and bolted. The raptor chased it but the horse got away as the raptor instead followed Matt Anderson who'd come to deal with it and rescue Emily.

  • The horse is a mammal that has been used in warfare for over 5000 years. Many different types and sizes of horse were used in war, depending on the form of warfare. The type used varied with whether the horse was being ridden or driven, and whether they were being used for reconnaissance, cavalry charges, raiding, communication, or supply. Throughout history, mules and donkeys as well as horses played a crucial role in providing support to armies in the field. The effectiveness of horses in battle was revolutionized by improvements in technology, including the invention of the saddle, the stirrup, and later, the horse collar. Horse cavalry began to be phased out after World War I in favor of tank warfare, though a few horse cavalry units were still used into World War II, especially as scouts. By the end of World War II, horses were seldom seen in battle, but were still used extensively for the transport of troops and supplies. Today, formal battle ready horse cavalry units have almost disappeared, though the United States Army Special Forces used horses in battle during the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan. Horses are still seen in use by organized armed fighters in Third World countries. Many nations still maintain small units of mounted riders for patrol and reconnaissance, and military horse units are also used for ceremonial and educational purposes.
