  • Founded in July 2000, The Leaky Cauldron is the biggest, and most famous Harry Potter fan site of all time.
  • The Leaky Cauldron is a famous wizards' pub. It faces onto a normal London street, but it seems to be enspelled so that Muggles can't see it. From the outside it looks tiny and grubby, and on the inside it is dark and shabby. Behind the bar is a tiny courtyard which conceals the entrance to Diagon Alley.
  • The Leaky Cauldron is a world-famous, yet small, dirty pub, located in London. It is extremely difficult to notice, and only witches and wizards can see it. The pub is very dark and shabby on the inside, and usually full. On 31 July, 1991, the Leaky Cauldron was quite full, with a few old women sitting in the corner drinking sherry and smoking pipes, a small old man in a top hat and a number of other witches and wizards, all of whom rushed to shake Harry Potter's hand when he entered.
  • The Leaky Cauldron is a popular wizarding pub and inn located in London. It is the entrance to Diagon Alley and indirectly Knockturn Alley. The rear of the pub opens up onto a chilly courtyard that contains the entrance to both alley ways. The pub was built by Daisy Dodderidge, the first landlady, in the early 1500s. She said that it was, "to serve as a gateway between the non-wizarding world and Diagon Alley." It had a bar, several private parlour rooms, and a large dining room.

To Muggles, the pub appears to be a broken-down old shop front on Charing Cross Road. This, however, was not the case prior to the imposition of the Statute of Secrecy and, in fact, prior to this, Muggle visitors were neither turned away, nor made to feel unwelcome.

Across the bar from the London entrance is a small, dusty courtyard with nothing but some bins and a few weeds. Across from the exit leading into this courtyard is a certain wall that leads into Diagon Alley; to enter, one must tap the brick three up and two across from the dustbin with their wand, thrice.
