A passing jetliner over the island is shot down to avoid detection of the project, with two survivors being Unicorn Agent Juro and a young boy, Daisaku Kusama (Johnny Sokko in the US). Finding the lead scientist, Daisaku is given complete control over Giant Robo. Escaping together, Juro and Daisaku meet up with Unicorn, which recruits the young boy, as the robot's controls are imprinted upon his voice. By the end of this adventure, the heroes use Giant Robo to turn back the attack from the first of Guillotine's daikaiju. Throughout the series, there was very little that Guillotine did not attempt in his efforts to either control or destroy Giant Robo. The various kaiju often had specialized attacks meant to disable Giant Robo or its systems, but with the support of Unicorn, Daisaku/Johnny learned to exploit Giant Robo's abilities to their fullest. Various stealthier attacks included a robot duplicate of Johnny to seize back control of the robot, poisoning drinking water with an agent that rendered the victim comatose and disfigured, and a corrupted schoolmate of Johnny's who had his own mecha, a Giant Claw. When another Earth government attempted to build its own Giant Robo, Big Five/Gargoyle seized this duplicate and programmed it for their own use. In the series finale, Guillotine either resurrected or duplicated a number of his fallen minions, Human and monster alike, and confronted the heroes in gigantic form with an added threat. His body was now an energy-laden bomb set to go off if he should be attacked, with a yield capable of destroying Earth. Having no choice, the Earth forces surrendered and Guillotine was triumphant. Yet one last time, though, he had overseen the creation of his own defeat. Ignoring orders from Daisaku/Johnny, Giant Robo seized Guillotine's gigantic form and flew off with it into space, seeking an oncoming celestial object which detonated Guillotine, presumably destroying them both. (Similar to the final fate of Ivan Ooze.) Emperor Guillotine seemed ruthless towards his subordinates, but this is hard to measure. Due to the effectiveness of Giant Robo and Unicorn, very few of his minions ever returned to face the price of failure.

* 1559- (March 17) Spammer and G-Dogg are introduced as mascots to help increase the appeal of the HHH to the new generation of youthful nobles.

- A guillotine was a device used for carrying out executions by decapitation. It consisted of a tall upright frame from which a blade was suspended. This blade was raised with a rope and then allowed to drop, separating the head from the body. The condemned were often lead to the guillotine incorporating a public spectacle and executed in plain view, adding to the victim's degradation. The electroguillotine was a type of guillotine used on Onderon.

- Guillotine is a level in which your monkey ball is supposed to roll up ramps that become longer and longer in a semi-circle. A spinning rod holds two platforms that wipe across the top of the ramps. Therefor, if you don't make it over the ramp near it's edge, there is a high chance that you will be knocked off the edge of the course with the one of two "guillotines." If I'm not mistaken, the timing of this level is 60 seconds. The difficulty of this level is advanced compared to an average player.

Jahrhundert immer seltener bis Joseph-Ignace Guillotin sie 1789 per Antrag wieder Einführte um grausame Hinrichtungsarten abzuschaffen und den Verurteilten einen schnelleren Tod schenken wollte. Unterstützt wurde er dabei durch Charles Henri Sanson den Henker von Paris. Der die Nachteile die das Enthaubten durch ein Schwert oder das Erhängen durch den Galgen aufzählte. Drei Jahre später 1792 wurde der Antrag stattgegeben und die Guillotine wurde als einziges Vollstreckungsgerät der Todesstrafe eingeführt. Erst wurde das Gerät Louison oder Louisette genannt bis sich der Name Guillotine durchsetzte, was Joseph-Ignace nicht gefiel, weil er das Gerät nicht erfunden sondern dessen Einführung und Gebrauch aus humanitären Gründen lediglich empfohlen hatte. Seine Nachfahren nahmen daraufhin einen anderen Namen an. Nach der Revolutuion gab es eine Zeitspanne von fast über einem Jahr von Juni 1793 bis Ende Juli 1794 die als Schreckenszeit gekannt wurde und mindestens 16.500 durch die Guillotine hingerichtet wurden die verdächtigt waren, nicht mit der Revolution einverstanden zu sein. Die Terrorherrschaft wurde von einem Komitee von zwölf Männern, geleitet. Zuerst wurde er von Georges Danton und dann von Maximilien de Robespierre angeführt. Danto sprach sich schlussendlich gegen die Terrorherrschaft aus die er selbst eingeleitet hatte und wurde deshalb wegen Anklage zur Verschwörung hingerichtet. Robespierre der noch weitere Hinrichtungen ankündigte verlor entgültig das vertrauen des Konvents und wurde per Antrag und einstimmigen Abstimmung des Konvents zusammen mit seinen Anhängern darunter Antoine de Saint-Just verhaftet. Zwar entkamen sie aus den Kerkern wurden aber im Rathaus gestellt und abgeführt. Am 28. Juli 1794 wurden Robespierre und 21 seiner Anhänger ohne vorherigen Prozess durch die Guillotine enthauptet; in den Tagen darauf folgten noch 83 weitere Anhänger.

Les méthodes étaient archaïques, et dépendaient essentiellement du rang de la personne mise à mort, variant de l'exécution par une bastos dans le ventre, en passant par le tranchage de tête au sabre, la pendaison, la chaise électrique, le missile nucléaire dans l'estomac, le concombre espagnol dans l'anus, et bien sûr, l’écartèlement. Ainsi la guillotine devint très rapidement LE mode de mise à mort en vogue, et les exécutions gagnèrent très vite une popularité et devinrent les moments les plus mondains de la vie française de l'époque, bien loin devant les réceptions de l'ambassadeur, et ce jusqu'à l'invention des Ferrero Rocher.
