  • A peasant is are a class of people living in many of the kingdoms of the world of Daventry. They are type of commoner.
  • Peasant is a U.S. Navy SEAL and member of Task Force 141 that appears in the level, "The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday."
  • Their main function is to repair . Health-points: 80
  • Peasant is a memory resident parasitic virus. When an infected .EXE file is executed, the virus searches for a command interpreter (COMMAND.COM) by using the string "COMSPEC=", and overwrites it. The virus stores the part of the code that is overwritten into the unused sectors of the hard drive, then the virus returns control to the host program. When an infected COMMAND.COM is executed, the virus reads its original code from the hard drive sectors, hooks onto INT 21h and returns control to COMMAND.COM. The virus then writes itself to the end of .EXE files that are accessed.
  • Despite their life of hard labor, peasants are remarkably vigorous folk, and are always up for a festival, witch burning, or revolution against the bourgeoisie. They also tend to be good sports about everything, especially when the wealthier classes of society need someone to oppress or a village to burn down, or when there aren't enough plague victims for the local government to get federal medical funds for the district. Of course, not all peasants are alike, and there are many distinct differences between peasants of different cultures.
  • Peasants are minifigures that are poor and usually work for other people in order to earn food and money. Several of them appeared in the Castle set 10193 Medieval Market Village.
  • The peasant is the basic knight builder. For a small wage, he will build all the buildings, toil in the mines, and construct walls and towers for the knights. He has minimal fighting abilities, but as a result, he only takes up one quarter of an army point.
  • Peasant is a character residing in the city of Stormhold.
  • No matter how loudly a knight might boast of his deeds, the truth is that no army could survive, much less win, without peasants. These lowly men, armed with little more than staves and clubs or picks and axes, and often completely unarmored, are the force that allows an army to function. The man standing before you is clearly a peasant, dressed in nothing more than dirty, torn shirt and ragged pants. He wears black boots and his head is bare, though he does have a threadbare cloak to ward off the night chill. He carries a mining pick over one shoulder and a burlap sack over the other. Peasants have no desire to fight, and only attack when forced or when terrified. In battle they forget all discipline and simply charge, waving their picks and shouting incoherently. (APG 186)
  • Peasants are the people who gather around the campfire, eat food, and work. Due to being a part of the population, they are your main suppliers of tax. Peasants will join the workforce as soon as a job is available, or the army if they are being recruited. If they join the army, they don't eat food anymore, are exempt from taxes and do not count as population. If a peasant is attacked, they will defend themselves, although they are pathetic in that respect. In some Stronghold versions, a peasant will turn to crime, leave their workplace un-manned and go around attempting to steal from the castle granary. If they are found by a guard, the guard will apprehend them. They will be taken to a judge before being given the appropriate punishment.
  • The Peasant is the Chinese worker unit in Age of Mythology:Tale of the Dragon. They are needed to gather the resources to build an army, build structures and otherwise expand the player's empire. A strong empire has many Peasants. In times of emergency, Peasants are fair fighters, but they are best left to what they do well - gathering resources and constructing buildings. The player can only have up to 80 Peasants alive at any given time regardless of the population cap status.
  • Peasant is a NPC Ally and also one of the 31 Playable Characters in the game, Castle Crashers. His magical attacks are Non-Elemental and his starting weapon is the Wooden Spoon. Peasant's specialties include basic juggling and combo locking.
  • A Peasant is a level 0 human unit. It is the origin of most human units and is usually not considered as a military unit, but as the last line of defence of any human kingdom. It can be trained to become either a Spearman or a Bowman.
  • Peasant names a member of a social class which devotes itself to creating wealth through farm labor, often on individual, though not necessarily self-sufficient, plots of land. Much of what has been described as economic development involves a combination of legal and economic incentives to transition peasants from subsistence or partially subsistence agriculture to either commodity farming or migration to urban areas to join the proletariat.
  • Peasants replace Citizens, which are the villager or worker class unit in Rise of Nations, and are the single most important unit in the game. The primary functions for the citizen is to harvest resources (food, timber, and metal), create and repair structures. Peasants are created from cities and towns, and are fairly cheap to produce. Unlike Citizens, however, Peasants cannot be converted to militia. Nevertheless, the elevated unit population count of Rise of Kings should allow you to create scores of these units, which will be vital for a variety of jobs, including resource accumulation and combat engineering.

Description
  • Leaps up with a dust effect that damages overlapped enemies.
  • This attack pierces armor, and it deals two times normal damage. That means it deals as much damage to a Barbarian or a Thief on Normal Mode as it does to a Stove Face or a Cult Minion on Insane Mode.
  • Throws a dagger as a projectile. Snakey, Civilian, and Open Faced Gray Knight share the same looking dagger, which really doesn't mean much.
  • Arrows rain down from the sky in front of the character in groups of three. Each upgrade adds another set of three arrows, but each set of arrows can only hit the same enemy once per set. If maxed out and spammed, the Splash can stay out for a while, hitting any enemy or boss that comes towards it. A total of 8 characters share the same exact Splash Attack.

Nevertheless, the elevated unit population count of Rise of Kings should allow you to create scores of these units, which will be vital for a variety of jobs, including resource accumulation and combat engineering. Note, however, that Peasants are extremely weak and vulnerable to almost any other unit, especially ranged cavalry so you must protect the bulk of your work force at all times. Once you gain your first level of Military research, you should build Towers and raise Peasant Levy to oversee and protect your peasantry from enemy attack. The seven centuries leading up to the Early Modern Era throughout Europe and China were not happy times for mankind, even if they saw events which laid down the foundations of the world as we know it today: capitalism; nation-states; representative democracy; scientific thought; and even the introduction of firearms and the roots of modern religious terrorism. Back in the days of the late Roman empire, monetary debasement and political chaos slowly caused the Roman economy to move from financial commerce to agrarian self-sufficiency. To survive the onslaught, civilians would pledge themselves (and their unborn descendents) to till the land for local strongmen who in turn promised to grant protection. By the 9th century CE, this system of mutual interdependence melded itself with similar practices amongst Germanic tribes and evolved into the feudal system. Only in the more remote (such as Scandinavia) or more prosperous areas of Europe (such as northern Italy or mediaeval Hungary) was feudalism mostly unknown. Although this would seem to be a recipe for peace and stability with the peasants and the feudal nobility engaged in a mutually beneficial relationship (a serf's main obligation was to supply his lord with food in fall), in reality the feudal system was prone to abuse. The feudal system would not survive the first few years of the Early Modern Era, yet would still leave a mark that would result in social problems in Europe, such as social exploitation, political disunity and ultimately further instability and violence at the close of the Middle Ages.
