rdfs:comment | - Baton is a weapon moveset used by Princess Zelda in Hyrule Warriors. Described as a legendary Baton that can control the very wind. It also allows Zelda to levitate while dashing. The Baton can create whirlwinds to disorient enemies and its Strong Attack to create an even more powerful tornado. The weapon type has a Lightning Attribute. Its default Level 1 is the legendary Wind Waker from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The 8-bit Baton is the 8-Bit Recorder.
- Batons are one of the various degradable weapons found in Silent Hill: Origins. Batons are commonly found in health-oriented places, such as Alchemilla Hospital and Cedar Grove Sanitarium, as well as atop cop cars on the streets of Silent Hill. Travis Grady uses the weapon by whipping it back and forth, and will finally kill an enemy by stabbing it with the end, despite the end of the baton not at all being pointed.
- Batons are non-lethal melee weapons created to knock a target unconscious. They mostly used by guards and police for riot control and criminal arrests.
- Baton was a member of the Fearsome Hand of Four.
- The Staff is a weapon used by Cheetara.
- The Baton is a melee weapon that appears in Watch Dogs.
- The baton is a melee weapon in Fallout 4. Variants include the security baton, the shock baton and the stun baton.
- Baton is a Dual Wield style. Dual Wield weapons with the Baton style:
* Martensite Batons : OMAC Base Duo
* Miltek Medico Batons : Old Gotham Subway
* Miltek Assault Batons : Old Gotham Subway
* Miltek Restorative Batons : Old Gotham Subway
- A baton, also known as a "nightstick," is a melee weapon commonly used by police forces along with the billy club to beat felons into submission. It is one of the most prevalent weapons in the Madness Combat series. Though intended for the bludgeoning of opponents, the baton has on several occasions been used by Hank to impale opponents. The baton is featured at least once in every Madness Combat episode except for Madness Combat 1 and is used extensively in Madness Combat 2: Redeemer. The nightstick has since been redesigned into a more modern version, with the short stock being connected by an extremely short metal bar with the short stock also having a thin bar of metal, separating into the end of the stock ever since Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis.
- File:Baton Type.gif Batons can be naturally wielded by Commoners, but cannot be equipped on other jobs because there is no passive skill to equip Batons. Batons do not have any special characteristics (e.g. no elemental attributes), and there are no platinum, master or HLA batons available.

- The security officers on a devastated planet in the Delta Quadrant were armed with batons. (VOY: "Time and Again") The call sheet listed this weapon as "police baton". Some of them were later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] [2]

- Baton (or Baton Twirling) is one of Kirby's Copy Abilities. This one is unique to the anime, and has so far not appeared in any game. Along with Water, Iron and Top, they all appeared in Episode 97 of the show, and were all created by fans. There was a contest in Japan to submit your own Copy Ability ideas, and this was one of the lucky winners.
- The baton has a higher rate of disarming opponents, especially if the user has the impact ability. While it does do a lower amount of damage, it can strike multiple times in one turn, doing upwards of 30 damage per turn in some cases. The baton can also block and counter enemy attacks at a much higher rate compared to other weapons.
- The baton appears in Crime Scene mode as a secondary starting weapon for those playing on the SCU side. The baton is only given to the player if they select the 9mm as a starting weapon.
- A Baton is a versatile multi-tool used by programs to generate usable objects like light cycles, and umbrellas, or weapons like staffs and Light Swords. It is the technological replacement for the TRON-era tool called a Rod. __TOC__ Each baton is capable of generating a range of different implements, although the limits of what can be created appears to be restricted depending on what each baton has been programmed to do. The military Batons of the Sentries and Black Guards, for example, are commonly used to generate their staff weapons. Gem's baton, by contrast, has only demonstrated the ability to generate an umbrella.

The baton itself is persistent and can be retrieved to form a replacement object.
- Baton was a massive flying petrosasur and one of Ururu's last chances at getting on the good side of the boss Grottes. He was much larger then the other petrosaurs and was used to transport the cybernetic stegosarurs monster Gallon. The two would go and destroy an airport on a snowy night and he would destroy buildings and planes by flying over them. Soon he picked up Gallon with his tallons and the two left.

When used, they use a little of the wielder's energy to generate the rest of the object they then become a part of. In the case of swords, the baton becomes the hilt and forms an energy blade from one end. Similarly, one Black Guard and Quorra have demonstrated the ability to generate a flexible grappling device. A staff is formed extending from both ends of a baton, while the vehicles have been formed between the two separated halves, which themselves become the rider's hand grips.
