- Shortly prior to JC Denton arriving at the Ocean Lab, Ridley sabotaged the base thoroughly by detonating LAMs, flooding most of the lower portions of the base. He also uploaded a computer virus that sent the Base's security turrets haywire and opened the cages holding the base's many transgenics. By the time JC arrives, all of the base's personnel are dead, or have escaped through submarines. He is very defiant and persistent, and has always come back to fight again, despite the many large explosions, extreme heat, and enormous amount of kinetic energy his spine has suffered.

Den Piraten war es also gelungen, Ridley wiederzubeleben, mit ihrer hochmodernen Cyborgtechnologie zu kombinieren und ihn mit ihren modernsten Waffen auszurüsten, z.B. einem Merson-Bombenwerfer oder einem ultrathermalen Flammenwerfer; zudem bot ihm seine körperumfassende Rüstung einen höchst effektiven Schutz gegen jegliche Art von Waffen, lediglich der Brustkorb war schwach gepanzert: Somit war das Ergebnis eine perfekte Zerstörungsmaschine, noch effizienter und gnadenloser als je zuvor. So traf Ridley in seiner neuen Form abermals auf Samus Aran. In einem Brutalen Kampf konnte Aran nur mit größten Anstrengungen als Sieger hervorgehen, denn die Piraten hatten ganze Arbeit geleistet. Stark angeschlagen, seiner Flügelmembranen beraubt und nun auch noch von Statuen der Chozo unter Beschuss genommen, stürzte Meta-Ridley tödlich getroffen und in einer enormen Explosion in den Einschlagskrater, den ein Leviathan hier hinterlassen hatte. So starb Meta-Ridley. Dachte Samus Aran zumindest. In den Geschehnissen von Metroid Prime 3: Corruption war unter den Piratenstreitkräften, die den föderierten Planeten Norion angriffen, unerwartet abermals Meta-Ridley einer der Feinde. Im Laufe eines Kampfes, bei dem Meta-Ridley Samus in einen 17 Kilometer tiefen Reaktorschacht mitriss, wurde er von Aran schwer verwundet. Unfähig, in dem engen Schacht wieder nach oben zu fliegen, stürzte Meta-Ridley dem Tode geweiht seinem Ende entgegen; Samus konnte durch einen verbündeten, von der Föderation angeheuerten Kopfgeldjäger namens Rundas gerettet werden. Nun schien Ridley beseitigt. Als Samus in den Leviathan der Heimatwelt der Weltraumpiraten eindrang, musste sie zu ihrem Entsetzen feststellen, dass Meta-Ridley immer noch am Leben war. Eine Theorie besagt, dass es Ridley nach seiner "Explosion" im Leviathan-Kern durch das Phazon gelangt, sich gegen allen Erwartungen hin erneut zu regenerieren. Eine andere, weit simplere Theorie besagt, dass die Weltraumpiraten, die auf Zebes verblieben, ihren Anführer mittels aufbewahrter DNA klonten. Es muss jedoch darauf hingewiesen werden, dass sich dieses Problem um Ridleys Erscheinung lediglich durch das Erscheinen neuer Metroid-Spiele ergab: Super Metroid erschien lange vor der Prime-Serie. Super Metroid: Ridley entführt das letzte überlebende Metroid von einer Forschungsstation und floh mit diesem nach Zebes, dessen Anlagen von den Weltraumpiraten wieder Aufgebaut worden waren. Im Verlauf ihres Abenteuers findet Samus Ridley in den glühend heißen Tiefen von Norfair und so musste sich Samus zum 5. Mal (in der Metroidgamestory) Ridley gegenüberstellen. Samus hoffte das Ridley das (Baby) Metroid rausrückt doch Ridley wollte sich für alles was sie ihm antat Rächen und Samus am weiterführen hindern. Für Samus war dieser Kampf zwar anstrengend und brutal, am Ende jedoch siegte sie erneut. Nebenbei gab es noch eine vollständige mechanische Version von Ridley, nämlich Mecha-Ridley, welcher in Metroid: Zero Mission (einer überarbeiteten Version von "Metroid" mit selber Story) seinen Auftritt hat. Einer kompletten Maschine gleich, ist dieser Prototyp äußerst widerstandfähig und mit mächtigen Waffensystemen ausgerüstet. Jedoch kann er nicht fliegen. - Ridley, or Lego Ridley, is Samus's arch rival, fought in most of her missions. It is a complete mystery as to how Ridley survived his many deaths against Samus and as to how Ridley makes an appearance on the remote planet, X-nel XI. After discovering the experiments with Metroids and the secret rebirth of Ridley, Samus concludes that Dorn is somehow affiliated with Space Pirates.
- Shortly prior to JC Denton arriving at the Ocean Lab, Ridley sabotaged the base thoroughly by detonating LAMs, flooding most of the lower portions of the base. He also uploaded a computer virus that sent the Base's security turrets haywire and opened the cages holding the base's many transgenics.
