  • Mac was a former member of Commander Peck's unit who was inducted into Bad Company in 2210 alongside his good friend Danny Franks. He was one of the very few members of Bad Company to survive the war against the alien Krool, despite losing an arm in action. As the series went, Danny Franks became progressively stranger, a process viewed with some alarm by the nevertheless loyal and taciturn Mac. Danny's rôle as the 'everyman' with whom the strip's readers would identify was therefore slowly shed and passed on to Mac, who spent most of the later episodes watching the odd things Danny got up to and asking questions so that they could be explained to the reader.

As Mac woke, he saw the empty shell of a sentinel, caught by the old man, just to check that he was of the same "brotherhood" from his reaction. As the days passed, the old man kept Mac alive and he ate cockroach paste and mice. When his fever subsided, Mac found his ship's radio that the old man salvaged and tried to repair it with the tools available. He realized that the old man was living in his own fantasy world of knights and "dragons" and no to cognition of the Matrix. One day, Mac woke up and the old man was left, with a package for him. He looked in the periscope and saw the old man inside the sentinel head attracting other machines sentinels and then exploding in the fields. Mac then had some snooping around. Presumably with the use of his repaired radio, he contacted Zion, while still considered M.I.A. After completing a month of absence, he was brought back. His friend Leet volunteered to nurse him until he recovered.

  • A small unnamed humanoid alien called M.A.C.(short for mysterious alien creature) is featured in the movie Mac and Me. A NASA satellite has landed on an unknown planet and begins to take rock and soil samples, where it is eventually discovered by four creatures nearby. After the four are literally sucked up through the satellite's vacuum, it appears to malfunction at first then makes its way back to Earth. After the satellite is brought to a military base by NASA agents for study, the creatures manage to escape, with the youngest making its way to a street where it accidentally causes several cars to crash. It then makes it way into a van, consisting of a wheelchair-bound boy named Eric Cruise, his brother Michael, and their single mother Janet, who are moving to California from Illinois. The rest of the creatures have made their way out into an unspecified desert. The day after the Cruise family settles into their new home, the baby alien causes damage to it and is seen by Eric. He tries to catch up to the creature and falls over a hill into a lake where he nearly drowns, but is rescued by the creature. Eric then tries to tell his mother and Michael that the creature is responsible, but they do not believe him. Deciding to prove that he is telling the truth, Eric sets a trap later that night to catch the creature with the help of his new friend and neighbor Debbie, who had seen it as well. The two suck up the creature through a vacuum cleaner which malfunctions and causes the entire neighborhood to suffer a power surge. After the creature is released, Michael now believes of his existence, but it leaves before Janet could be convinced. Eric's behavior towards the creature changes after it fixes all of the damage it caused to the house the next day, and leaves behind several newspaper clippings in which Eric believes that it is trying to tell them something. FBI agents Wickett and Zimmerman, who had been present when the four creatures had escaped from the base, have tracked down the youngest to the Cruise residence due to the neighborhood's power surge and are immediately recognized by Eric and Michael. Eric is forced to take the creature, who he has now named MAC (mysterious alien creature), to a Britney's birthday party at a McDonald's restaurant where Debbie's sister, Courtney, works. The FBI agents follow with additional help and attempt to apprehend MAC there, but the creature, disguised as a teddy bear, starts a dance number as a distraction and escapes with Eric on his wheelchair. After the agents chase the two through a nearby neighborhood and shopping mall where Janet notices them in the latter, Michael, with Debbie and Courtney's help, rescues Eric and MAC with the use of Janet's van. She then inadvertently learns from Wickett that MAC is, indeed, real. Following a brief argument, Eric, Michael, Debbie, and Courtney decide to help MAC reunite with the other three creatures, revealed to be his family. With his help, they travel towards the outskirts of Palmdale and manages to find MAC's family in an abandoned mine, reviving them with Coke. While stopping at a gas station for drinks and gas, MAC family's wanders into a supermarket with security being alerted. After the alien father steals a gun from a security guard, the police arrive and a shoot-out accidentally occurs out in the parking lot, followed by an explosion with Eric caught in the crossfire and killed while the aliens appeared to have perished in the explosion. Once Agents Wickett and Zimmerman and Janet arrive by helicopter, MAC and his family are seen having survived the explosion, then use their powers to bring Eric back to life. For reviving Eric, MAC and his family are granted citizenship, with the Cruise family, their neighbors and the two FBI agents in attendance.

Diese lebte vorwiegend im circuseigenen Kinderzoo in Rapperswil. Vater von Mac, der bei der Geburt und in den ersten Jahren noch Boy genannt wurde, ist der Zürcher Zuchtbulle Maxi. Claudy wurde zweimal mit diesem Bullen zusammengeführt, und beide Male gab es Nachwuchs, zunächst Macs ältere Schwester Lohimi (1985-1988), die aber wie auch einige ihrer Halbgeschwister von väterlicher Seite, Xian und Aishu, an der Herpeskrankheit starb. Bei Macs Geburt war sie schon gestorben. Mac selbst wurde am 22.03.1995 an den Zoo Kobe in Japan mit nicht einmal drei Jahren abgegeben. In Kobe, wo noch die ältere, 1943 geborene Kuh Suwako lebte, bekam Mac nach über einem Jahr Gesellschaft von der Elefantenkuh Zuze aus dem Zoo Riga, einer Tochter des ehemaligen Emmener Zuchtbullen Radza +, die am 24.08.1996 Riga verließ und am 10.09.1996 in Kobe eintraf. Aus der Verbindung dieser beiden aus Europa kommenden Asiatischen Elefanten sind bislang vier Kälber hervorgegangen. Am 11.01.2002 wurde eine weibliche Totgeburt geboren, am 02.03.2004 das Kuhkalb Momo, das aber im Alter von einem Jahr am 25.04.2005 starb. Das dritte, etwas länger lebende Bullenkalb, Ouji +, eine Handaufzucht, wurde am 21.10.2007 in Kobe geboren und lebte einige Jahre dort. Im Mai 2014 wurde im Ichibara Elephant Center nahe Tokio der vierte Nachwuchs von Mac erwartet. Die Mutter Zuze sollte zuvor in diesem Park die Geburt und Aufzucht eines Elefantenbabies miterleben und wurde deshalb schon am 10.10.2013 in den Elefantenpark überführt. Sie brachte dort am 12.06.2014 ein Bullkalb zur Welt, das Yuki genannt wurde. Auch dieses Kalb wurde von ihr nicht gesäugt, so dass der Zoo sich entschloß, ihn der Zuchtkuh Pooly anzuvertrauen, die neben ihm ihre eigene Tochter säugte.
