Region Gym Leader
abstract
  • gym leaders are computer-controlled opponents who have a certain type of pokemon, for instance rock or grass. Players can battle gym leaders in the same way they battle regular players. The only difference is that, if the player defeats the gym leader, they recieve a badge, which goes onto their profile to show what gym leaders they have defeated.
  • A Gym Leader is a highest-ranking member of a Pokémon Gym. The main job of a leader is to test Pokémon Trainers in their strength, bond, and teamwork, and to also check their resourcefulness for the upcoming Pokémon League.
  • A Gym Leader (ジムリーダー Jimu Rīdā) is the highest-ranking member and owner of an official Pokémon Gym. A Gym Leader will usually specialize in one specific type of Pokémon (the only known exception being Blue) and uses them to test the skills of trainers that challenge them. Every Gym Leader holds a unique badge for the trainers that prove their skills to them or defeat them in battle. When a trainer has a total of eight badges, they can compete in their regional League or challenge their region's Elite Four. There are a total of eight Gym Leaders in each region, usually all eight gym leaders in a region will specialize in a different type of Pokémon, the only type not appearing so far (Gen 1-6) being Dark, although certain types are used for multiple gyms but in different regions, the most recurring type for the first gym is Rock due to both Grass and Water being super effective against it. As shown several times, a Gym Leader is usually well involved with their community. When not at the Gym, a Gym Leader is usually involved in some type of work or service that the surrounding community is known for (this is usually the case in the Anime series rather than the game series). When at the Gym, a leader will maintain the Gym itself, the Pokémon, the other members, and will battle any challenger.
  • A Pokémon Gym Leader is the head Pokémon Trainer in any given gym in all of the Pokémon video games. The Gym Leaders and the types of Pokémon they specialize in are varied depending on the version.
  • A group of sick bitches who kill your pokemon and give you a badge. The badges let you enter the pokemon league. The list is: Brock Misty Surge Erika Koga Sabrina Blaine Giovanni Lots more.
  • Gym Leaders are highly respected in their respective home region, and usually others. During a crisis Gym leaders gather to dicuss the situation.
