  • Terri is the mother of Wendy, a young clinic patient in the Season 1 episode The Socratic Method. She was portrayed by actress Lilas Lane. House had tested Wendy for strep throat at Terri's insistence and told her it was negative, just as he expected it to be. He tried to get away but Terri tried to get him to convince Wendy not to want an ice cream cake for her birthday. House noted Terri was very slim and Wendy was somewhat heavier and figured Terri was more concerned about her own image than Wendy's health.

HistoryText
  • The ABC Warriors met Terri on Termight when they were attempting to repair the damage done to its black hole bypass by Thoth, the son of Nemesis the Warlock. Terri was one of the Mekaniks, the robots tasked with maintaining the bypass. Although she was made of flesh and blood the Mekaniks had persuaded her that she was a droid too, and that a robot had fathered her baby. Having destroyed all the other Mekaniks, the ABC Warriors captured Terri. As soon as she saw their leader, Hammerstein, she became convinced that his name was Craig and he was her child's progenitor. Despite her obvious mental health issues she had a pleasant, engaging personality and regarded Hammerstein with great affection. Terri led the ABC Warriors into a cul-de-sac where they could be captured by the Mekaniks, in the hope that her robot masters would spare Hammerstein and the couple could spend the rest of their lives together earning productivity stars. Despite her helpfulness, the Mekaniks decided that Terri was far too independent and would have to be 'recycled' along with her son Wayne, whom they executed. Terri saw red and helped the ABC Warriors defeat the Mekaniks, after which Deadlock said that she should join them: "We are robots who think and behave like humans. Terri is a human who thinks and behaves like a robot." Terri was later killed by falling masonry caused by the unstable black hole. Hammerstein, who had come to love her and wanted to start a new life with her on an empty planet, was saddened by her death.

Terri also revealed that she came from a long line of minters and had taken up this position from her deceased father. Terri was lonely with her solitary position in the mint and was always looking for new visitors. She is good friends with Kytyn, and couldn't wait to tell her about her meetings with the Avatar.

House noted Terri was very slim and Wendy was somewhat heavier and figured Terri was more concerned about her own image than Wendy's health. He decided to tell Wendy that ice cream was far worse than it actually was. When Terri became flustered, House hit her with both barrels and intimated what she wanted was a prettier daughter so people would say she looked just like her daughter. He then told Terri to buy Wendy the cake she wanted.

Unable to tell Torrey about the book (as her cousin told her not to tell anyone she received an advanced copy) she set out to destroy their ice sculpture, to save Torrey the embarrassment from becoming apart of the destroyed series. She is discovered by TQ during the sabotage. He takes sympathy on her, knowing what it was like to have a series ruined and gives her the book of grief. Torrey is devastated when the sculpture is ruined. However she goes onto her second attempt with a balloon which Terri cuts. During the day of the contest Torrey comes up with a final idea, which Terri nearly destroyed before being busted by the safety patrol. She confesses to the crime and tells Torrey the truth. Torrey forgives her. It is probably unlikely that Terri got into trouble for her crimes.
