- Ganondorf (also known as Ganon) is the main antagonist of the Legend of Zelda series of video games. In most of his incarnations, he appears as a being of great power, usually over dark magic, and usually as a giant pig demon of some kind. In more recent renditions of the game, he appears in most of the games at first as a gerudo, and then transforms into his pig form. Ganondorf is played by one of the main administrators of the board, and has been since 2007.

Certaines personnes supposent également, au vu de son apparence physique (et suite à divers clins d'œil), qu'il puisse être un descendant d'Hergo (ce qui pourrait notamment expliquer pourquoi il possède une Triforce, alors qu'il est le mal incarné...).

Er entführte sie nur, um ihr Triforcefragment der Weissheit zu rauben. Später verpasste er Zelda im Kampf eine ordentliche Backpfeife (mit der oberen Handfläche), da er von Zelda mit einem ihrer Lichtpfeile getroffen wurde. Ein Beweis dafür, dass Ganondorf in wenigen Fällen die Menschen vor dem Tod verschont. Das liegt daran, dass er immer zielstrebig ist und für andere Dinge kein Interesse zeigt, wie es auch im Kampf der Fall war. Manchmal greift er Menschen nicht an. Manchmal wehrt sich der Gerudokönig auf eine aggresive Art, wenn man ihn angreift. Interessanterweise betrachtet Ganondorf den Held Link als eine kleine Termite, ignoriert ihn und tut ihm öfters nichts an. Hier liegt der Grund dafür, dass der Ganondorf die Eigenschaften von Link nicht kennt. Erst später kann Ganondorf den Mut des tapferen Link erkennen. Als Link als Eindringling in der Verwunschenen Bastion erwischt wurde, wollte nur Ganondorf, dass der Maskenkönig Link aus der Bastion befördert. Er bemerkt es manchmal nicht, wenn Link etwas in Ordnung brachte und er meinte dann, falls er doch mitbekam, dass das nur Heldenglück sei. Manchmal ärgert sich Ganondorf über die Heldentaten von Link, manchmal auch nicht. Er ist auch manchmal darüber beeindruckt. Ganondorf gilt als strategischer und planender Kriegsherr. Seine Pläne sind meist über längere Zeiträume geplant und haben einen aufwendigen Rahmen. Jedoch verhält er sich bei der Ausführung seiner Pläne oftmals als sehr leichtsinnig und arrogant. So hatte er in Ocarina of Time durchaus die Möglichkeit Link (noch als Kind) zu töten und damit seinen späteren Untergang bereits zu einem frühen Zeitpunkt zu unterbinden. Seine wenigen gnädigen Züge wurden ihm dabei zum Verhängnis. Was auch interessant an Ganondorfs "Allgemeinwissen" ist, dass er die Gerechtigkeit nicht richtig versteht. Wobei man auch sagen kann, dass Ganondorf viele Geschichten und Mythen aus Hyrule kennt und er weißt selbst, ob sie von der Wahrheit entsprechen oder nicht.

The Triforce of Power that Ganondorf often holds grants him near-immortality; the only weapons that can truly defeat him are the Master Sword, Silver Arrows, and Light Arrows. In addition to granting him power, the Triforce of Power corrupted Ganondorf and transformed himself in a reflection of his soul: A monstrous boar-like beast known as Dark Beast Ganon. As an incarnation of the ancient demon Demise, his tale now spans numerous legends while his appearance and mindset vary across three different timelines that occur after the events of Ocarina of Time, Ganondorf is unable to truly be destroyed no matter what method is used against him and would only resurface generations later to resume his attack on Hyrule.
