Addicts can be identified from restlessness when not in contact with a computer, compulsive urge to turn on the computer once they are conscious, excessive bleeding, and basking in the warm glow of the monitor at the hour of 6 in the morning, bleary eyed and still engaging in acts such as Counter Strike, Starcraft, Tribes (any version), World of Warcraft, Everquest, Uncyclopedia, cybering and the like, despite obvious signs of fatigue. Computers are also known as Conan O'Brian's private boxing opponents. He can kick, hit, punch, crash, destroy, eat, throw, drop, push, pull, punish, hurt and cut Conan. Every game are ties.

(TV: The Green Death) Mr Smith was usually referred to as a computer and performed similar functions, although he was actually a Xylok. He could interface with other computers remotely or via the Internet. (TV: Invasion of the Bane) Momus was a great computer who had his own consciousness and developed feelings, such as lonelyness and love. He could also travel through time. (PROSE: The Lonely Computer) The Jungle was a giant computer that resembled a real jungle that was created by the civilisation that lived on the planet Unnamed BX-4. Its "trees" were information servers, and the "rivers" were its data streams, while the Jungle's creators existed "like ghosts" in the memory of the Jungle. Sehr beliebt, weil höchst effektiv sind Handys, benutzt werden aber auch gerne Kühlschränke, Waschmaschinen, Mikrowellen und (neue) Kühlschränke.
