- Aya is one of the main characters and second party member to be encountered in Infinite Undiscovery. She is the Princess of Fayel and also a member of the Liberation Force led by Sigmund. Her lunaglyph can be used to make fire.
- "AYA" is a music track that appeared in the PlayStation remake of the original Dead or Alive as the character theme for Ayane in the Tournament Mode, and the stage theme for Ayane's stage in the Versus, Survival, and Team Battle modes. The theme is also optional in the Music Mode in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, and can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.

Sie ist gütig und hat stets ein offenes Ohr für jeden, auch für ihren Bruder, jedoch gegen den Willen ihres Bruders kann und darf sie nichts einwenden, obwohl sie viel älter ist. Wie auch Sun vertraut sie Ashka zunächst blind, auch als sie ohne Sun aus Australien zurückkehrt und behauptet, Sun sei tot, hinterfragt sie diese Aussage nicht, auch nicht, als Ashka in ihrer ersten Version ein schwarzes Monster und in der zweiten ein grünes erwähnt. Einzig und allein Kathy fällt dies auf. Nachdem Aya den Thron bestiegen hat, wird sie unwissendlich, und überwältigt von der Trauer, von Ashka isoliert, und erst als Kathy Sun rettet, erkennt Aya die Wahrheit. Daraufhin flüchtet Ashka, raubt die Maske und will sie in eine andere Welt bringen. Jedoch nehmen Kathy und Mek die Maske an sich, und Ashka verbündet sich mit den Barbaren. Mit deren Anführer Sharak will sie den Thron besteigen, und Sharak soll Aya heiraten. Nachdem die Barbaren den Palast eingenommen haben versuchen Aya, Sun, Mek, Vicky und Carl aus dem Palast zu flüchten, was auch gelingt, jedoch müssen Mek und Vicky zurück bleiben. Während Ashka die Maske verkaufen will, versuchen Kathy und Josh die Maske zurück zu holen, und Aya und Sun verstecken sich bei Jasmins Familie. Jedoch wird Aya entdeckt und zum Palast gebracht. In einer langen Rettungsaktion tauschen unter anderem Aya und Ashka die Plätze bei der Hochzeit, sodass Aya das Hauptorakel bedienen kann, weil ausschließlich ihr Gesicht in die Maske passt. Erfolgreich schlägt sie mit Hilfe des Orakels und dem Krieger Sharak in die Flucht, und verbannt ihn über die Grenze.
