In actuality though, Zero accidently told Dr. Wily about the Cataclysm during the last storyline. Knowing what would happen if Zero was activated, Dr. Wily chose not to activate him. But, in order to prevent a paradox, the cast had to fake their deaths and then move to Acapulco. Zero is speculated to be gay, though early in the comic he was attacked upon returning to the future for being late for a date with Iris.

- When Cassandra Cain arrived in Bludhaven her safe-house was graffitied with his symbol and so seemed well within his 'territory'. Throughout her residency Zero had taken to watching her as she entered and left the house, this did not go unnoticed by her but she seemed to treat it as a kind of game. Stalking aside the two truly met during a party where the two danced beside each other in the mosh pit.
- When Cassandra had to leave on a quest to find her mother she spent some final hours with Zero, resulting in the two kissing before she left. The relationship was not to be however as Bludhaven would be destroyed soon after by the Society of Evil dropping Chemo upon the city. Zero was one of the civilian casualties.
- A resident of Bludhaven's Fort Joseph district, he bares a graffiti symbol on his arms that re-occur throughout the district's inflistructure. It is unknown wether this symbol is his own and he is responsible for graffitying the district's buildings or if he is part of a gang of which the symbol is their logo.

- Takuya had always believed that Zero was his imaginary friend as he hatched a while back. He was created by Takuya's dream to become a famous magician. He went back to slumber awhile ago, as Takuya's show became more and more fake, but he has no doubt that he will be born again, just as long as Takuya remembers what he dreams to become. Ever since Takuya went on tv for the first time and was nervous, Zero always says "Smile, Smile" to cheer Takuya up before a show. Throughout the episode, we see Zero peeking out of his shell. The first time he isn't smiling and just blinks. (This is after Utau Hoshina says she wanted to see Takuya do "real magic" and in turn hurts him.) The second time is after Takuya tells the Guardians that he heard Zero's voice for the first time in a while saying "Smile, smile!". He is seen in his egg behind Takuya, looking at Amu Hinamori and smiling, putting a finger over his mouth and telling her "Sshh!". The third time is when Takuya is told he's fired, because with CG anyone can be the magician. At this, Zero sadly looks down, closes his eyes and his shell closes, slowly turning gray at the thought that Takuya is doubting his dream. Nikaidou realized this and turned Zero into an X-Character by making Takuya lose faith in himself. After his X-Character attacks Amu, she can hear his thoughts, such as "Nobody wants to see magic... just a flashy show!". Amu then tells him that everyone was smiling the other day and so was he, convincing him that his smile was genuine magic. In the end, however, he was purified by Amu and was reunited with Takuya.

- In this story, she is first mentioned by Revelian. Revelian explains that she, Lord Zeronius, orchestrated the Great Conquests of the Dark Matters, being their ruler and mother. Revelian was the most devoted and rewarded of her children. A great period of her history is unknown, as the events past Rev's disappearance are not explained. - Zero is X's friend from the future. Bass thinks he looks girly. He is the last creation of Dr. Wily and is responsible for killing most of the cast with the exception of Auto, Proto Man, X, Bob and George in an event called the Cataclysm. In actuality though, Zero accidently told Dr. Wily about the Cataclysm during the last storyline. Knowing what would happen if Zero was activated, Dr. Wily chose not to activate him. But, in order to prevent a paradox, the cast had to fake their deaths and then move to Acapulco. Zero is speculated to be gay, though early in the comic he was attacked upon returning to the future for being late for a date with Iris.
