  • Tyrant is a large Orbital Frame shaped like a turtle and resembling a larger Mummyhead. It is piloted by Axe and is featured as an enemy boss in Zone of the Enders. The OF Nerokerubina is a reference to the Orbital Frame in Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars.
  • These Tyrants are prototype models that have not been mass-produced. They are products of early tests with the T-virus or one-of-a-kind variants created under unique circumstances.
  • The Tyrant is a clip-fed Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2015 under the Air Max sub-series. It comes packaged with a twelve dart clip and twelve XL Distance Darts.
  • Tyrant (タイラント Tairanto?) is a chimera-like kaiju, created from the spirits of the Ultra Brother's fallen foes that debuted in Ultraman Taro. He came to Earth to challenge Taro after defeating the other Ultra Brothers, where he was quickly defeated by the young Ultra Crusader. Tyrant is also technically an alien Kaiju despite some of his components being from Earth, as he was formed on Neptune and contains components from two of Yapool's Choju, King Crab and Barabas. Subtitle: Tyrant Monster (暴君怪獣 Bōkun Kaijū?)
  • The Tyrant was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer belonging to the starfleet of the Galactic Empire. It was part of Darth Vader's Death Squadron, and, in that capacity, it took part in the Battle of Hoth against the Rebel Alliance. During the battle, the Tyrant tried to intercept the first Rebel transports to flee from Hoth. However, the Star Destroyer's electronics and computer systems were disabled by several shots from the Rebel's v-150 ion cannon, commanded by Toryn Farr. While the Tyrant was left to float helplessly through the Hoth system, several more Rebel transports managed to fall through the cracks.
  • Monster Rancher 2: The wings on its back are to small for it to fly.
  • Tyrant is a dragon form in Breath of Fire IV. It is the ultimate dragon transformation used by Fou-lu, and is considered an upgrade over Astral. Ryu's counterpart is Kaiser.
  • The Tyrant is the longest serving model in the Empire. The robust build and its body, constructed from cheap heavy metals from Grecein, give it great cargo capacity but also a very high mass. It is the only ship without mountings for laser weapons (this means no asteroid mining!), but its three Missile Mounts can keep unwanted guests at a distance, at least for a short while. The rust on the outer hull are natural in older models, but most are added with an artificial oxidation process, to satisfy the nostalgic feeling of many traders.
  • Tyrant is a heavyweight and is one of Bowser's three karts in Mario Kart DS, along with Standard BW and the Hurricane. This kart resembles Bowser's foot. This is the heaviest kart in the game and has very high top speed, the lowest acceleration and handling in the game, but has fairly high drift, and has a high items stat as well.
  • He is a little on the short side, with broad shoulders and a long, braided stygian beard. He has green-blue eyes and pale skin.
  • Tyrant is Bowser's kart, first appearing in MKDS. It looks like a Bowser's yellow foot . It also has ice-white spikes in front of it. It is third fastest and the most heaviest kart in the game. But its handling and acceleration is very poor, making it a bad pick for you. If you use this kart, it has ability to use rare items because its tyre is very big. Its drifting is all right.
  • Tyrant, also known as Emperor Marcus Cole, is a Praetorian Earth Archvillain, the Praetorian counterpart to Primal Earth's Statesman. As such, he is the leader of all Praetorians. Tyrant spawns at a minimum of level 50 regardless of the level of the mission holder. This is unique among Archvillains, as no other Archvillains from normal Story Arcs follow this particular behaviour. Heroes may find him: * on the Free Statesman mission from Maria Jenkins as a minimum level 50 Archvillain (Levels 45-50)
  • A Tyrant is an enemy and/or boss in the Resident Evil series of survival horror games. They are biologically engineered organisms created by the Umbrella Corporation to serve as potential soldiers. Several variations of the Tyrant have appeared in the games. Unfortunately for them, many were created with their oversized hearts exposed, this being a major weakness in an otherwise fearsome foe.

  • Tyrants are one of the large carnivores native to Shear, one of the top predators of it's territory. Tyrants are aquatic hunters, with a behavior resembling that of an alligator. It lies and wait in the murky waters for smaller creatures to venture close, to which it attacks with massive jaws, and drowns underwater before consuming it. It has a large selection of prey items to choose from, which include humans. However, towards larger creatures close to it's own size, or another large predator, it won't attack unless provoked.

  • Tyrants are by far the most powerful aliens. Despite being prone to being trapped in areas, it doesn't require much skill to excell at being a Tyrant. It has two basic attacks: charge and maul. Tyrants also have a healing aura, which heals all adjacent aliens twice as fast.
  • Tyrant is an online collectible card game with a large number of available cards. It is based on the War Metal game, is set in the same universe as War Metal, and takes place decades into the future. New players are presented with a tutorial, which helps the player through the first two missions. The game started as a Facebook app, but is now also available on Kongregate. The game uses a micro-transaction currency called War Bonds, which you can purchase for Kreds. War Bonds may also be obtained in the random Daily Gifts. __TOC__

  • The Tyrant is a Zerg superorganism formed by the merging of a Hatchery/Lair/Hive and an Apex Relay. Among the largest of the strains ever evolved, the Tyrant has a combination of both the Primal and current zerg. Part of its genome is derived from Nydus worms, Brutalisks, and the same species as the Ancient One. All these traits gives it the appearance of a centipede-serpent with armored paws (Marvel: Midgard Serpent; Mass Effect: Thresher Maw). Fuelled with a near inexhaustible hunger, a Tyrant can devour entire landmasses within hours. If given enough time and biomass, a Tyrant can grow large enough to wrap around a moon and even bite the head off a Leviathan.
  • Tyrants have unique names and there is only one of each of these monsters in the world. Tyrants are similar to Unique Monsters from Xenoblade Chronicles. All Tyrants have a special frame when looking at them and have special symbols with their level tag. Some tyrants may also have a unique color palette and distinguishing features such as pre-broken appendages. Some Tyrants have unique abilities, such as automatically restoring health, reflecting attributes, having 100 resistance to one or more attributes, or reacting to the status of another nearby Tyrant.

But despite his vast knowledge and experience in wrestling, since coming to the FMW federation, it has been more then obvious that he is well out of his league. With his prime years long having past when he did possess skill, not to mention his past injury leaving a mark on his speed and capabilities, by all rights TyranT should have hung up his wrestling boots and called it a day a long time ago. But serious troubles with his entire family have left him in need of serious cash in order to finance and support his failing family. • Once assigned to Darth Vader's Death Squadron, it has been commanded by the capable Captain Lennox, with Lieutenant Cabbel serving as executive officer. During the Battle of Hoth, Tyrant attempted to intercept the first Rebel transports to flee from Hoth, but was disabled by several shots from the Rebel's planetary ion cannon. Although temporarily disabled, Tyrant would be fully operational in time to assist in the pursuit of the Millennium Falcon through the asteroid field. It suffered light damage due to asteroid impacts, but would gain the reputation as to having none of its fighter craft destroyed in the pursuit. Its most famous squadron, by far, was Shadow Squadron, led by then Lieutenant Commander Danik Kreldin. The TIE fighters of Shadow Squadron swept the asteroid field in search of the Millennium Falcon, but would come up with nothing. Tyrant would go on to serve with Death Squadron for the next year, participating in events such as the destruction of Xizor's skyhook and the infamous Battle of Bajic. Tyrant fought with the rest of Death Squadron at the Battle of Endor, where she took light damage before retreating with the rest of the Imperial fleet after the destruction of the Death Star. Lennox, however, known for his steadfast loyalty and dedication, and his hatred of the political maneuvering common in Imperial officers, refused to cave in to the rampant warlordism that took hold of the Empire after the death of the Emperor. So when the Imperial Ruling Council recalled the Imperial fleet to Imperial Center amidst the ongoing Post-Endor Imperial power struggle, Lennox and Tyrant answered the call. She and her crew would fight with distinction at the Battle of Coruscant, taking down two cruisers single-handedly during the thick of the fighting. Her most famous moment came when members of the Ruling Council, including Grand Vizier Sate Pestage, found themselves trapped in the Imperial Palace, besieged by Alliance artillery, infantry, and fighter craft. Tyrant dispatched Shadow Squadron to escort a CompForce detachment led by Trent Ceska to rescue the Ruling Council members. Fighting through an intense bombardment and fighter screen, the Imperial rescuers managed to extract the Imperial councilmen and have them escorted safely to Tyrant. The Star Destroyer then exited the system through hyperspace. Tyrant limped along the Tarkin Corridor, leaking fuel, until she arrived at Todell and docked with OS Guardian for immediate repairs. The Ruling Council members then commandeered Tyrant and ordered her to Dreven, where the Interim Ruling Council was established. Tyrant would later fight alongside the Emperor's Pride Fleet during the Second Battle of Coruscant, but the Fleet's failure to defeat the fledging New Republic doomed the Empire's hope of extinguishing this gathering challenge, and spelled the dissolution of the Fleet. Lennox, never one to back down, managed to save his warship from certain destruction over Coruscant and returned safely to Dreven. For the next several years, Tyrant would participate in several operations against the New Republic and Imperial warlord forces, including the titanic Battle of Etti IV. The rise of Bacharan Valak, however, and his coronation in 8 ABY, turned around the dwindling morale of Tyrant's crew. Tyrant was recalled to Guritsan under orders of Warlord Jarl Rellik and underwent significant modifications and overhauls at the Kuat Drive Yards-Sienar Fleet Systems space station. The crew received much needed R&R, and upon completion of the upgrades to Tyrant, she was deployed under Rellik's command and participated in the Caspian Annexation Campaign. Lennox's keen tactical mind kept Tyrant from receiving any serious damage, despite going toe-to-toe with the Caspian Navy's best warships at the time, and was credited with destroying both CMS Ward and CMS Provost at the onset of hostilities. Later, it incurred moderate damage during the climatic endgame three months later. Afterwards, Tyrant was kept at the frontlines during the Valak Campaign of 9 ABY, until the Third Battle of Coruscant, where, after receiving significant damage from the New Republic's famed Home One, was forced to pull back to Guritsan for major repairs. Lennox was also seriously wounded in the battle, and there were talks of scrapping the old warship. Danik Kreldin and other notables from Tyrant were transferred, and the end seemed near for Tyrant. However, Lennox recovered, and with some backing from other high-ranking Imperial officials, Tyrant was saved from the scrap yards. She was, however, redeployed to the Outer Rim, relegated to patrolling trade routes and stamping out smugglers' rings in newly conquered Imperial territory. Lennox continued to refuse promotion, in order to retain command over Tyrant. Tyrant was finally recalled from the Outer Rim during the Imperial Civil War, where she assisted in the Third Battle of Venixun and the climatic Battle of Novar III. Afterwards, Lennox had a discussion with Danik Kreldin, now in the admiralty, to prevent Tyrant from being forced back to the Outer Rim. Still holding a bond with the old warship, Kreldin agreed and pressured High Command to keep Tyrant in the front lines. They agreed. Tyrant became an icon of the Imperial Navy, and the Republic made many attempts to destroy or render the vessel inoperable. All attempts failed. However, Lennox was nearing retirement age, but for better or for worse, the War of the Throne erupted and Lennox and the crew of Tyrant were quick to oppose the White Coats, keeping Lennox in command. Throughout 12 ABY, Tyrant would avoid the forces of Lorn Rhys and the New Republic, jumping from friendly port to friendly port, keeping the war going. Lennox was unable to link his support to the Neo-Imperial Movement, as it was destroyed on Etti IV before Lennox could make an attempt. When all hope seemed lost, a portion of the crew attempted a mutiny against Lennox. It was put down, however, and soon after the Civil War ended with the overthrow of Malus and the rise of Darth Malign. With the war over, Tyrant and the rest of the Loyalists returned to the Empire to rebuild and continue the Galactic Civil War. Tyrant received further repairs and upgrades at Guritsan and was deployed to the Imperial Fifth Fleet, where she remains today. Lennox is still in command, using his friendship with Grand Admiral Kreldin to maintain his position and hold back retirement. Tyrant played a small role in the Imperial Blitzkrieg, primarily focusing on subjugating the Mid Rim in the southern quadrant. When time came for the final push against Republic-held Coruscant, Kreldin ordered Tyrant recalled and placed in Task Force Hammer. Tyrant was put in defensive formation around the HIMS Malevolence during the invasion of Coruscant, where she was forced to defend the Imperial flagship against a heavy Republic assault aimed at destroying the dreadnought and wiping out Imperial command during the battle. Tyrant was responsible for the destruction of one Republic Star Destroyer and two frigates before the end of the battle. When word reached Lennox of the death of Kreldin during the fighting, it was said that he ordered the entire crew to stand down and take a moment of silence in memory of the Grand Admiral who had once served aboard Tyrant.

  • In Klingon mythology, Molor was sometimes described as a tyrant. (TNG: "Rightful Heir" , "Firstborn" ) The 19th century song A British Tar featured the line "...or the tang of a tyrant tongue!" (Star Trek: Insurrection) During the Eugenics Wars on Earth in the 1990s, a series of Augment tyrants ruled over several areas. Khan Noonien Singh was described as "the best of the tyrants" and was the last one to be overthrown. (TOS: "Space Seed" ) On Sarpeidon, Zor Kahn had the epithet "the Tyrant". (TOS: "All Our Yesterdays" ) In 2370, Kubus Oak claimed he had never liked the "arrogant tyrant" Gul Dukat, even though the two had worked closely together during the occupation of Bajor. (DS9: "The Collaborator") In 2372, Julian Bashir described Kira Nerys as a "vile little tyrant". (DS9: "Shattered Mirror")
There are 251 Tyrants listed in the Enemy Index. 210 Tyrants have a name that consists of a first-name and a qualifier noun or expression according to the format "(First name), the (Qualifier)" such as Oskar, the Summer Squall. Ganglion-created Mechanoids have simpler titles that describe the function of the Tyrant followed by the species name, such as Air Support Galdr. Some of these Tyrants are Skells owned by Ganglion Tyrants, such as Lyla's Galdr for Lyla, the Lustrous. Nahum, the Red Hare is not listed since she usually cannot be defeated, although she summons Nardacyon, the Shadowless once her HP is reduced to 25% while under certain conditions. A Tyrant known as the "Iron-fist Bruno" appeared in the early presentations of the game, and retains a mention in-game as "Bruno the Iron-fisted" in dialogue with Da Zeulbe. These individual named Tyrants are a threat to Humans. For some Missions it is required to slay them. Intending to confront and fight them demands a thorough preparation. Volkampf, the Pursuer is the only Story Exclusive and Mission Exclusive Tyrant, it is only encountered during Chapter 2. The game servers keep track of the number of times each Tyrant has been defeated and has defeated a party. While online, the exact stats are recorded in the Enemy Index. Each Tyrant can have a bronze, silver, or gold crown before its name to show its approximate threat level, though some Tyrants have not earned a crown. These crowns are decided by the number of parties defeated compared to its level. If the game starts while offline, the crowns will not be shown. A specific track, "Uncontrollable", is associated with battles against most Tyrants, although some, such as Dadaan, the Strongest Prone and Pharsis, the Everqueen, use "CR17S19S8" to denote their exceptional ability, while Telethia, the Endbringer uses "raTEoREkiSImeAra", a theme unique to the Telethia. When a Tyrant is defeated, it has a chance to drop a Holofigure depicting the variant of the Tyrant it was obtained from. These holofigures can only be found in silver drops, and cannot be found in gold or bronze drops. For multiple Tyrants with the same variation, the respective holofigure can be obtained from any of them.
  • Monster Rancher 2: The wings on its back are to small for it to fly.
Its armored body is strong enough to resist the pounding of several nuclear strikes and Yamato Gun blasts at once without even stopping. Up close, heavy war machines like Colossi are instantly crushed by the paws while the Tyrant moves. At range, it launches mutated sacs with large spines that either smash through small crafts or pierce the hulls capital ships before releasing swarms of smaller strains to tear apart anything they come across (Andromeda: Magog Swarm Ship). For more extreme cases, a Tyrant breaths out a Bio-plasmid jet taking out multiple targets at once (Godzilla: Atomic Breath). Even a fully powered Purifier-class Mothership can be disintegrated by the Bio-plasmid stream in seconds. A Tyrant is capable of burrowing like any other zerg breed, but leaves a large amount of destruction in its wake. Once burrowed and stationary, a mountain of destructible rock forms giving it extra protection. It usually takes tremendous amounts of firepower to dig through the debris before being able to attack the Tyrant directly and by then it has already moved on. By using its tunneling power strategically, the superorganism can undermine the foundations of an entire continent (Gears of War 2: Riftworm). While enemy bases are busy unearthing and repairing their infrastructure, allied forces swarm ground forces already in disarray. Its Ultimate ability is the Extinction Cycle. In its first stage, the Tyrant cocoons itself with multiple projections jutting out. These projections expel several tons of corrosive acid to cover the entire area like a lava flow. Anything on the ground that is not burrowed dissolves into a biomass/inorganic slurry (Mass Effect 2: Collector Base). For airborne targets, Toxic clouds eat away through anything even with plasma shielding. In the second stage, the clouds turn into infestation clouds that infest any structure that survived the first stage. This adds to allied forces that can now unburrow ready for combat. At the final third stage, the Tyrant and all the units spawned within burst out of the cocoon to join the swarm in finishing off survivors (Naruto: Aburame Clan). While this this is among the longest of attacks, there is virtually nothing that can stop it short of another planet destroying weapon. Special abilities: * Gargantuan unit: * Can Spawn in every known Zerg unit (needs resources) * Can use all special abilities of spellcasters with limitless energy * Immune to bonus damage and spellcaster abilities * Burrow/Unburrow - unit burrows to hide from enemy forces. Leaves a 5000 HP mountain of destructible rock to add to defense * Deep Tunnel - unit tunnels deep underground and surfaces at any target * Undermine - causes buildings in target area to sink disabling and damaging them by -150 * EXTINCTION CYCLE (Ultimate) - unit cocoons itself into a 3000 HP and 10 armored shell before covering the area with corrosive acid and enveloping the skies with toxic clouds. Anything, unit or structure, not burrowed losses 30 HPs per second for 60 seconds. Once first stage ends, Tyrant infests surviving structures to produce infested units. In final stage, Tyrant exits shell fully healed and releases swarms of each type of ground and air zerg unit to annihilate surviving enemies

  • TyranT has been in the business for over twenty years. With a daughter in serious need of psychiatric care, a brother who owes money to the mob, an aging mother who is struggling to stay in her home, five other daughters in foreign countries all needing university funds and other siblings in need of help, TyranT has had to once again enter the wrestling business in hopes of making serious cash and helping his family through their most troubling times. TyranT began his wrestling career back in 1983, debuting in the highly successful JS (Japanese Super) Federation based in Tokyo. His life as a wrestler in Japan was met with moderate success, but the American never could quite make the big break through he needed to make it big time. After several years, TyranT went freelance, popping up in various federations throughout the world entertaining crowds with his impressive strength and his alarming agility despite his big size. His one big chance to break through however was in his return to the JSF in a super tournament for their most prestigious World Title. Past and future wrestlers gathered for a tournament that spanned over six months worth of shows. TyranT reached his prime in this tournament and got as far as the Semi Finals against a former rival known as Road Pigg. The battle that ensued was short and embarrassing for TyranT, who was on the receiving end of a TKO in less then ten seconds. Road Pigg went on to win the JSF World Title, where TyranT was left humiliated and demoted to jobber status. In such a division, though his win ratio improved greatly, he never earned the opportunity to prove himself and never raised past being a lower card wrestler. Eventually TyranT was forced to leave the JSF due to growing money troubles and several daughters born from his rock and roll life style around the world with each child having a different mother. With court cases, family troubles and a fruitless wrestling career, TyranT picked up a second job as a guard in an insane asylum. It was during this job that his career finally did begin to pick up as a local freelance wrestler. Many considered his second job as a gimmick and began to notice his skills in the ring. TyranT would have what would be considered to be his final high lighting career moment, picking up an impressive Tag-Team deathmatch victory in the MWF. However, TyranT broke his back in the aftermath of the match. It was said he would never be able to wrestle, let alone even walk again. Several weeks later however, TyranT was back on his feet having badly needed to go to the lavatory, not having been willing to piss himself with no aid present. It was thought to be a miraculous recovery as he slowly returned to a relatively healthy state. TyranT would continue to work now as an asylum guard near his home in Georgia, but his debts continued to pile up with no wrestling career to boost his funds. It was only during a passed medical check late in 2006 that TyranT asked if he would be clear to wrestle. The doctor surprisingly said he was more then fit to go back into the ring, but recommended against it knowing of his past career. None the less, the word got out, and officals within the NEW were tickled by the idea of the TyranT being cleared to once more be capable of wrestling despite the weight and age he had gained. Brawler, the NEW General Manager got into contact with TyranT, offering him a try out proposition to the NEW. With unpaid bills going into the red, TyranT had no choice but to accept. TyranT would then make a shocking return to wrestling during NEW Tag Team Turmoil, interrupting one of the matches to make his presence known. Many fans have been shocked over his return. Facing an army of younger, more talented and vigorous wrestlers, TyranT has had to rely on every single cheap trick and tactic to be able to even stand up against such unstoppable fighters. His only weapon now is his surprisingly smart intellect and his cunning intuition. But even with his loss of skills, TyranT has managed to make an impressive impact, using strategies and dirty tactics that have actually made him more dangerous now then he ever was.
