  • Imps are fairly common monsters in ADOM. They are demons, and are quite weak, except for a rather potent poisonous attack, and are immune to fire spells. If you are not poison resistant yet, try to kill them from a distance.

  • Imp is a fictional minor character in the Wild Cards series of books.
  • An imp is a common small, humanoid demon with the characteristics of a typical Western devil with its horns, forked tail, et cetera. They are not individually dangerous but are reported to be a problem when encountered in swarms. In the New York Institute library is a book titled "The Care and Feeding of Your Pet Imp. Demons Revealed." Sebastian Morgenstern plucked it off the shelf and told Jace that it was pornography.
  • Imps are small winged demonic creatures. They are mischievous, and enjoy vandalizing homes, castles, or any other structure they can reach. Because they are relatively weak alone, they are under vassalage to the Succubi to the north, and cannot stray too far from their protection. Imps have one attack, the Missile, which comes out very quickly and very often. With multiple Imps on screen, dodging everything can be very tricky, but possible. Stick to the sides of the screen if at all possible, and keep swinging.
  • Imps are small, mischievous Demons of low standing in the hierarchy of demonic beings. Their physical configuration is often more or less humanoid, but they have vestigal wings on their backs which may or may not render them capable of flight, depending on the setting.
  • In Middle-Earth the term Imp usually refers to a young half-grown or juvenile Orc or Goblin but sometimes also a lesser Demon or fallen Fay.
  • Imps are the first breed of ghouly encountered in the game, first appearing in the very first scene in the Grand Hallway. Imps are the weakest breed of ghouly with only 5 Energy and have three other variants: Fire Imps, Ninja Imps and Flying Imps.

  • A major aim in computing systems is to achieve systems that are easy to modify. One approach to easily modifiable systems is component based design. A good component based system is made up of loosely couple components. This page will look at what is meant by loose coupling.
  • An Imp is the starting stage of demons before they warp. For warlocks, imp isn't a stage as much as it is their mature body, as a warlock doesn't warp into a demon. It is unclear but believed that imps have magic but lose it once they warp.
  • The Doom instruction manual says: You thought an imp was a cute little dude in a red suit with a pitchfork. Where did these brown bastards come from? They heave balls o' fire down your throat and take several bullets to die. It's time to find a weapon better than that pistol if you're going to face more than one of these S.O.B.s.

  • Imps were creatures who fought in the White Witch's Army near the end of the Long Winter. In appearance, they resembled Ankle Slicers (very short reptilian creatures with parrot-like heads), but they had wings. They generally fought near Giants and Cyclopses. In the First Battle of Beruna, several Imps fought alongside ankle slicers and one was trampled by a centaur. While the Narnians were retreating, the Imps jumped over rocks to pick off Fauns.

  • Imps are small magical creatures resembling horned monkeys with bat wings. Although they have wings, they seem to be incapable of flight, or at least they prefer to walk. They are potent Elementalists and can deal a good amount of damage, but usually lack any defensive skills and as such die quickly. Imps are mostly found in small groups of about three, but much larger groups are not uncommon.
  • The imp is the weakest of the true devils, but also the ones found most frequently on the Material Plane. Born directly from the pits of Hell, these vicious, manipulative fiends, hold an important role in the corruption of mortal souls. Unfettered from the ranks and duties of diabolical armies, imps delight in any opportunity to travel to the Material Plane and subtly tempt mortals toward acts of ever-greater depravity. Willingly serving spellcasters as familiars, imps play the role of dutiful servants, often granting their masters cunning advice and infernal insights. In truth, though,an imp works to deliver souls to Hell, assuring that its master’s soul—and as many collateral souls as possible—faces damnation upon death.
  • Imps and their world-themed variants in Plants vs. Zombies 2 are small fast-moving zombies that get thrown off the backs of Gargantuars (or appears on their own,) that can quickly result in the player's in-game defeat if not prepared. This is due to the fact that it gets thrown into the middle of the plants and possibly at the final column. However, if it is thrown deep into their defenses, it will most likely cause quite a lot of damage if the players defenses are not strong enough. Imps are small enough to chew on a plant with a Spikeweed or Spikerock in front of it without being damaged.
  • The Imps are child-sized, disfigured creatures and the most common enemies of Rule of Rose. They attack Jennifer and Brown often during the game. Imps are seen on the airship and in Rose Garden Orphanage, cleaning up blood and, occasionally, bodies.
  • Imps are one-foot tall magical creatures. They are roughly human-shaped, but they have been known to dress up as cats and squirrels and pigeons. This habit also provides unintentional camouflage since a person who spots an imp scampering down an alley will probably try to convince themselves that it was just a squirrel.

  • Imps are a type of monster. They are unique in that they can be found wandering long distances over RuneScape Classic. Like most demons, imps drop ashes, but they also drop beads, which are needed for the Imp Catcher quest. This is a common reason as to why imps are killed. They are not usually killed except by players wanting to collect beads to give to other players or complete Imp Catcher themselves.

  • Imps are the least of the least, minor Daemons that are born from loosed emotions. In their “natural” state, they are amorphous things, endlessly cycling through a variety of shapes that seem to reflect the thought or concept that birthed them. It is only when a Dark God claims an Imp that it becomes something. Dark Magisters and Chaos Sorcerers conjure Imps to serve as Familiars.
  • These mischievious little devils are often on this plane as bound servants of arcane spellcasters. They wield magic of their own and are immune to mind spells.
  • L'Imp può essere alto dai quindici ai venti centimetri e di colore marrone scuro o nero. Può essere confuso con il Pixie.

However, if they carry it off the screen, the player loses out on 5 gold pieces.

Noen ganger når en spiller angriper en imp vill den teleportere seg vekk, men da ikke langt fra spilleren. • Imps are little demons that seem to to be native to the world of Valenth. It is rumored that they came through a rift to this world, and that they are born of dreams and shadow, though nobody really knows how they came about. They like to make trouble and mischief where they show up.
  • Hana.png Imp is a derogatory term for someone who is of mixed backgrounds. Most commonly, a Solarian and Terran. For the most part Imps are not treated well. Physically marked with weak or half-traits, they're easy to spot and in times of hardship or war they are untrusted. Because of this they are often beaten or picked on in the streets. They are often abandoned by one or both parents. Having an Imp child can mean ostracisation. Though some do not care, to live happily they must move away from large cities or settlements.

  • An Imp is a mythological being similar to a fairy or demon, frequently described in folklore and superstition. On Gaia, Imps are small round furry creatures with wings and long tails, they are found in various areas around Gaia. At times Imps have the ability to turn into a humanoid figure that are very thin bodied; maintaining their wings which then protrude from the sides of their heads and having bare thighs with the lower halves of their legs feathered, ending with birdlike clawed feet. Two types of imp were seen during the 2008 Olympics, participating in the events.

  • Small but insidious devils often bound to the service of sorcerers and wizards, Imps have a gleeful attraction to pranks, riddles, and bawdy jokes. Imps are craven, but not so timid as to pass up an opportunity for a surprise attack using their invisibility and alternate form ability. In its natural form, an imp attacks with the wicked stinger on its tail. It quickly flies out of reach if a foe manages to strike back effectively. Not to be confused with quasits or mephits.
  • A lesser demon or particularly mischievous fairy. They are not strictly evil and were more mischievous than evil or harmful.
  • Imps are mythical creatures who apparently enjoy tangling horses' manes in the night. They are mentioned by the villagers in Upper Posada in the short story "The Edge of the World".
  • The Imp is a class introduced in Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. They are arrogant and not as strong as some demons, but that doesn't stop them from fighting. His unique evility, Bullying, increases the damage he dealt by 30% if enemy unit is lower level.
  • According to some stories, imps are lonely creatures which long for human contact. They play tricks on people simply as a way of getting their attention, although this usually backfires and only causes people to get angry. Sometimes people agree to befriend imps but the imps continue to play pranks on their new human friends. This may be either because the imps have grown bored or simply because it is in their nature to be mischievous and they cannot help it. The pranks are usually harmless but may be more serious, such as causing people to lose their way in unfamiliar places or taking human babies and replacing them with their own kind.
  • The Imps are the manifest Demons of the Pandemonium, emboying the Arcanum of Space, and can be called down with the use of Supernal Summoning. Imps are usually intimidating, as their physical form compromises the fears and thoughts of its summoner into being. Some Imps take the forms of literal monsters, hulking, slavering demons that the mage must summon all his courage even to approach. Some are small and unassuming things, using the forms of terrestrial animals. Some even appear human. But regardless of their form, they are always confronting their summoner with moral conflicting tests and trials.
  • The Imp could be considered the mascot of Zero Punctuation, first appearing and first named in his very first review, and has since been included in just about every review he's done since then(with the exception of Super Mario Galaxy.) Imps are generally used to represent things from games, some examples including enemy characters (Necromorphs from Dead Space 2 and ghosts in Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and Beyond: Two Souls), animals (your dog in Fable II, and a cat in Tales of Monkey Island), younger children wearing helicopter caps (Dead Island and Kirby's Epic Yarn), to name a few. Sometimes larger Imps are used to represent boss characters. Other times when imps are tiny they are referred to as quibbles (small things Yahtzee personally finds irritating in
  • The Imp is a magical creature found only in Britain and Ireland. The height of the Imp is considered comparable to that of the pixie, between six to eight inches, but that is where the physical similarities end. The Imp cannot fly like the Pixie, nor is it as brightly coloured. Imps make their home in marshland, where they indulge their slapstick sense of humour by pushing and tripping the unwary.
  • Imps (also known as fel sprites)[citation needed] are small, cackling demons - evil immortals who feed upon life and magic. They delight in inflicting suffering, spreading corruption, and, of course, destroying all that is good. Most demons were once mortal. Not all demons are sentient: various animals have been transformed into demons, for instance.
  • Several types of the common Imp demon have been recorded. These include the Impling, the Imp Lord, as well as the Nightmare Imp. In addition to this, a separate type of Imp with a configuration of ten eyes has been observed, as well as a mouthless imp type. Imps are known for their ability to manifest and throw explosive plasma projectiles or "fireballs" from their hands, seemingly producing them out of thin air. Research on the mechanisms behind this remarkable ability has not been fruitful as of yet.
  • An imp is a mythological being similar to a fairy or demon, frequently described in folklore and superstition. The word may perhaps derive from the term ympe, used to denote a young grafted tree. Originating from Germanic folklore, the imp was a small lesser demon. It should also be noted that demons in Germanic legends were not necessarily always evil. Imps were often mischievous rather than evil or harmful, and in some regions they were portrayed as attendants of the gods.

  • The imps' trickster behavior and harlequin-esque motif of its clothing in the kid's session are due to having inherited the physical and behavioral attributes of John's kernelsprite when it was brought to The Medium. Having been prototyped with the harlequin doll, the light and dark halves carried the 'information' of the doll to the spires on Prospit and Derse, respectively. The imps' appearances, as well as those of the other underlings, were altered as a result. After Rose's and Dave's prototyping and entrance to the Medium, Imps appeared possessing variable aspects of their prototypings, including Harlequin, Cat, Suit, Cthulhu, Princess, Beak, Wings, Sword and any combination of the prior. They are also noted to be stronger after the second prototyping. After Becsprite prototyping othe
  • Imp is a shapeshifting spy who helps out Hordak. Imp more often than not tries to stay on the right side of Hordak to avoid incurring his wrath. He points out to Hordak when other members of the Evil Horde fail in their different missions, and encourages Hordak to vent his anger on them. Because of this nature Imp is hated by most other members of The Horde. It is not just The Horde who have a dislike for Imp, but also members of The Great Rebellion. In one episode Imp attempts to set up Kowl as a Horde spy, by planting Horde coins in his bed. Some of The Rebellion thought that Kowl may have been a traitor, but Adora believed he was innocent. Later on in the episode it is revealed that Imp was the one responsible for the coins and that Kowl is innocent. The Rebels apologize to Kowl for not
  • A minor demon native to the demon realm. In recent times they have adopted the lifestyle of the succubi, feeding on the spirit energy of human men, due to the Demon Lord's influence. They are like children on both the outside and the inside, but despite of that, they are extremely lustful. Since they are so childish and simple, they are very direct with their emotions and desires and they aggressively assault human men in pursuit of pleasure. They mostly act in groups and upon spotting a human man, they will swarm over him in a scramble to be the first to copulate. The man will helplessly have the spirit energy squeezed out of him.
  • An imp may defend itself from a player's attack by disappearing in a puff of smoke and teleporting to a random nearby place. If the player can reach the spot where the imp teleported, the player will auto-path, automatically walking to the location of the imp to continue the fight, provided they do not click anywhere else on the map. Imps occasionally teleport even when they are not under attack. An imp, upon receiving damage, may also retreat from the player but not teleport. Imps have the ability to teleport themselves into areas that players cannot reach. It may also teleport as it dies, making the drop appear elsewhere.

  • The true messengers of the Netherworld, the Imps are hellish little demons that fly about on swift wings delivering objects and messages to those in need. They are very stealthy and can be very dangerous, and it is said that Imps are so used to keeping themselves quiet and are sworn to such secrecy that they are all born with their mouths stitched closed. Monster Memory
  • These small devils are sometimes summoned by evil magicians to server as familiars, and sometimes appear in our plane as lesser servants to others of evil intent. Their appearance is a mockery of the humanoid form, usually with at least one feature of unusual mocking size. They bite and scratch, but are truly lesser devils.

  • Yeah, they're idiots, but they're also fun. Most of the time. About five years ago we were having a party at the Villa, and this one Imp got stuck in a crack in the wall. When he pulled himself out, he accidentally shot a missile. Hit me right in the left breast, and it stung for like three days afterward. So, no more Imps on the island.

Description
  • Class-specific summon for Greater Demon and up
  • Imps are fairly common monsters in ADOM. They are demons, and are quite weak, except for a rather potent poisonous attack, and are immune to fire spells. If you are not poison resistant yet, try to kill them from a distance.
  • Juvenile forms of elite magical monsters. Imps try to cast spells which are far too powerful for them and fail every time.

The Imp's diet consists mainly of insects. They also delight in pelting Wizard Crackers and other small projectiles at anybody that they wish to torment. Imp breeding habits are like the Pixie's, but their young hatch full formed. While rather unthreatening, an Imp can nonetheless be dispatched rather easily by anyone, by throwing back Wizard Crackers that it throws, or using a Knockback Jinx to daze it, and then caging it, or throwing it into a Gnome hole.

  • An Imp is the starting stage of demons before they warp. For warlocks, imp isn't a stage as much as it is their mature body, as a warlock doesn't warp into a demon. It is unclear but believed that imps have magic but lose it once they warp.

Monster Weapon: The Imp's natural attack is a deadly slash from it's claws. The method of damage is purely visual however and they still deal the same amount of damage as a normal Moth man. Ability Boost: Whenever a Imp would normally gain a bonus to their Wisdom score, the Imp instead gains a bonus to Charisma. This replaces the Ability boost of the Imp. Charismatic: Any class ability that the Moth man gains that utilizes the Imp's Wisdom now uses it's Charisma score instead. This does not count towards will saves or any skill checks. +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, -2 Strength • Medium Monstrous Humanoid (Monster, Demon) • Imps cannot walk however they do have a fly speed of 60 (Perfect) • Darkvision out to 60 feet • Light sensitivity • +4 to Stealth and fly checks. • Automatic Languages: English and Japanese Bonus Languages: Any This replaces the normal Race. Imp's mouths are sewn shut, as such they cannot speak naturally, they can however speak to any creature within 10 feet of it. This range increases by 10 feet for every level the Imp possesses. The Imp is barely a living creature as it is, it's spine hangs from a gaping hole in it's chest and it lacks legs or many internal organs. As such, At 5th level, the Imp does not need to eat, or breathe to live and it becomes used to the constant stomach acid dripping out of it's body, granting it resistance 5 to Acid. At 10th level, the Imp gains Damage reduction 5/Silver and it's Acid Resistance increases to 10. This replaces the range increases. At 13th level, The Imp is a master of language. As such the Imp knows all languages and can read and write them fluently. This includes more specific languages such as Druidic, however the knowledge that Imps can understand that language is usually said to be a myth. There are some Druids and Beast Masters however whom hunt down Imps because of this. This replaces the Freedom of Mind. Imps whom reach 20th level become masters of speed and silence known as Daemons. They are feared and respected for their ability to come and go without other creatures ever knowing they were there. Once per day as a standard action, The imp can encase it's self in a Zone of Silence that cannot be dispelled. While in this form it gains a +6 morale bonus to Dexterity and Charisma, and immunity to sonic effects and damage. It's damage reduction is increased by 5 and it's acid resistance is increased by 10. Once per round, as a swift action, The Imp can teleport 30 feet in any direction. This lasts for 1 round per level.

Imps are often shown as small and not very attractive creatures. Their behavior is described as being wild and uncontrollable, much the same as fairies, and in some cultures they were considered the same beings, both sharing the same sense of free spirit and enjoyment of all things fun. It was later in history that people began to associate fairies with being good and imps with being malicious and evil. However, both creatures were fond of pranks and misleading people. Most of the time, the pranks were harmless fun, but some could be upsetting and harmful, such as switching babies or leading travellers astray in places with which they were not familiar. Though imps are often thought of as being immortal, many cultures believed that they could be damaged or harmed by certain weapons and enchantments, or be kept out of people's homes by the use of wards. Imps were often portrayed as lonely little creatures always in search of human attention. They often used jokes and pranks as a means of attracting human friendship, which often backfired when people became tired or annoyed of the imp's endeavors, usually driving it away. Even if the imp was successful in getting the friendship it sought, it often still played pranks and jokes on its friend, either out of boredom or simply because this was the nature of the imp. This trait gave way to using the term "impish" for someone who loves pranks and practical jokes. Being associated with hell and fire, imps take a particular pleasure from playing with temperatures. To this end it came to be believed that imps were the familiar spirit servants of witches and warlocks, where the little demons served as spies and informants. During the time of the witch hunts, supernatural creatures such as imps were sought out as proof of witchcraft, though often the so called "imp" was typically a black cat, lizard, toad or some other form of uncommon pet. Imps have also been described as being "bound" or contained in some sort of object, such as a sword or crystal ball. In other cases imps were simply kept in a certain object and summoned only when their masters had need of them. Some even had the ability to grant their owners wishes, much like a genie. This was the object of the 1891 story The Bottle Imp by Robert Louis Stevenson, which told of an imp contained in a bottle that would grant the owner their every wish, the catch being that the owner's soul would be sent to hell if they didn't sell the bottle to a new owner before their death. Imps can be found in art and architecture throughout the world, usually carefully and painstakingly hidden under the eve of a church or the foot of a ceramic cup, so they can only be found by the most interested and observant of people. Imps may be described as fairies in some cases but in most cases the Imp in question is an evil spirit or demon. They frequently appear in children's stories such as 'Silvia' in which she is followed by a black Imp. Since their time they have become more overlooked as not many people actually know what they are. Imps are also portrayed as a servant to those of fey and magical being, such as wizards. Because of this reason, they are commonly used in games as minions, such as World of Warcraft, The Legend of Zelda, RuneScape, etc..
Since they are minor demons and their personalities are so simple, they are comparatively easier to deal with, and from ancient times they have often been used as familiars by sorcerers and witches. In the case of male sorcerers, forming a contract and employing an imp by periodically offering the spirit energy they feed on is a simple affair. However, if they are given too much spirit energy, their demonic energy will rapidly grow powerful and the power of the contract will fade. As this progresses they will become less and less inclined towards doing as they are told. Eventually, the relationship between master and minion will be reversed. The imp will become the mistress, and the man will end up as a familiar. A man had ended up as a familiar will be unable to oppose an imp seeking his affection. He'll give in to her obscene begging and have sex with her, continuously providing his mistress with spirit energy. An individual imp is not very strong, normally, but sometimes there are those referred to as "arch imps" which possess immense magical power. Just like imps, they look and think like children, but they possess an abnormal amount of lust and power. They are dangerous beings endowed with charm spells and techniques for pleasuring men that are even greater than those of the succubi. If men who end up as their familiar continually provide them with spirit energy, eventually they will change into these arch imps, and then things will get even more out of hand.

  • Imp (Candice Christine Kade) is a supervillain in New York City. She is a Psychokinetic, but not a 'PK Superman.'
Imps are usually considered to be immortal but can be harmed by certain weapons or magic spells. There are also said to be ways to prevent them from entering people's homes. An imp is sometimes considered to be a kind of minor demon, the word was often used in previous centuries to refer to the familiars that witches and warlocks were said to keep. The Lincoln Imp is a small stone carving of an ugly little creature in Lincoln Cathedral, England. The image has become a symbol of Lincoln, appearing on the badge of the soccer team Lincoln City Football Club, who are nicknamed "The Imps" and have a mascot named "Poacher the Imp". According to legend, the Lincoln Imp was originally one of two imps which were sent to Earth by Satan to cause havoc. Having traveled across the north of England, the two imps arrived at Lincoln Cathedral, where they destroyed tables and chairs and made the bishop fall over. An angel emerged from a hymn book and ordered the imps to stop. The first imp was brave and threw rocks at the angel. The second one was frightened and hid under a table. The angel turned the first imp to stone, in which form it remains in the cathedral today, and allowed the second one to escape. There are various stories about what happened to the second imp. Some say that it was turned to stone not far from the cathedral, where people who look carefully see it on a wall to the south of the building. Another account says that it went to St. James Church in Grimsby. It began misbehaving again until the angel reappeared. The angel spanked it on the backside before changing it to stone. The Grimsby Imp can still be seen in the church, clutching its sore behind. A third account says that it is always windy around Lincoln Cathedral, even when it is still everywhere else in the city. The wind which circles the building is the second imp who is always looking for his lost friend. Some stories tell of imps being bound inside objects, such as crystal balls or bottles. The owners of those objects can call on the imp to emerge whenever they please and demand that the imp grant their wishes. This is described in Robert Louis Stevenson's short story "The Bottle Imp", in which the wishes are usually granted at a terrible price and the bottle's owner has to sell it before he or she dies to avoid going to Hell.

Within the God Wars Dungeon, imps have a slightly different appearance, sporting goatees, longer horns and their skin is a deeper shade of red. Imps are loyal followers of Zamorak and will not be aggressive towards the player if they wear a Zamorakian item or have a Zamorak hawk follower out. Because of their low level and life points, killing imps is a fast way of increasing one's kill count in order to enter the Zamorakian boss room. Imps are decent monsters to kill for low combat level players. They have 200 Life points each, which grants 26.7 experience to combat skills, along with 8.8 Constitution experience. Even though these also drop fairly good items for their level (among which Imphide), they are not recommended for training, as there are few of them scattered all over Gielinor and they have the ability to teleport. The majority of imps' drops are worth little to higher-level players, and are often of little or no interest to them, except for beads that can sell for over 4000 coins each due to their use in magic potions.

In order to become a demon, a creature must be infused with fel energy. As the existence of non-sentient demons suggests, a creature's wishes are irrelevant to the process. Willing or not, a creature can be changed into a demon. Such a transformation alters the affected creature on a fundamental level and typically leaves little or nothing of that creature's original personality.
As beings born out of space, Imps are perfect for scrying as they don't need sympathetic bonds in order to find someone. They are also able to help mages to overcome mental blocks that hinder their development of certain Arcana.
  • Imps are little gremlin-like monsters who steal sacks of gold from the player. However, they won't attack the player in any way. If they manage to get a hold of a gold sack, hitting them with a heavy attack is the best way to dislodge it and reclaim your loot. However, if they carry it off the screen, the player loses out on 5 gold pieces.
  • The Imp is the Stage 2 balanced form of the Hellfire group.
  • Imp (formerly Demonite) is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest game series.
The Rebels apologize to Kowl for not trusting him. Imp's main task is due to his shape-shifintg abilities. He is tasked to spy on members of The Rebellion, and report back to Hordak, which has been shown on several occasions, such as informing Hordak of the Red Knight, and the birth of Swift Wind's baby on Unicorn Island. It seems that without Hordak, Imp has little influences within The Horde, being more like a lapdog. Imp is actually rather distinctive amongst the Horde, as he is one of their few members with the ability to fly. This is odd given the fact that it is stated numerous times in the series that Horde Prime has a hatred of flying creatures. Due to the lack of any noticeable mechanical augmentation, it can only be surmised that Imp's transformative abilities are magical in nature, making it interesting that Hordak seems to prefer him so much, given the Horde General's distrust of magic. Of course, with the mythology surrounding imps in general as being friendship-hungry heralds of other more powerful evils, one could argue that Imp's presence is more a status symbol for Hordak than anything else. As such, Hordak seems to treat him more as a pet.

The Imps are considered one of the lowest forms in the Hellish hierarchy, and have been considered by some to be the "drones" of the demonic society.

  • 250px|thumb|Imp 200px|thumb|left|Imp - Tony DiTerlizzi Impy, zwane też chochlikami to rodzaj sprytnych diabłów, które wspomagają złych śmiertelników mrocznymi radami i oszustwami. Zakrzywione zęby i różki mają olśniewająco białą barwę. Poprzez dyskretne rady, podszepty i sugestie stopniowo uzyskują kontrolę nad działaniami swego "pana", czyniąc z niego swe faktyczne narzędzie. Gdy są połączeni więzią chowańca, utrzymują telepatyczny kontakt a "mistrz" uzyskuje część magicznych umiejętności czarta. Poprzez skłanianie go do złych i służących złu uczynków, coraz bardziej pogrążają nieszczęśnika, powiększając jednocześnie swoją moc.
  • The Imp is an animal available on FarmVille. It was a reward for finishing Haunted Hollow Chapter 3 Quest 1: Summoning Servants.
After Becsprite prototyping other varieties of imp have presented possessing Bec's dog cheeks and ears as well as his reality warping powers. In the troll's session, imps, just like all underlings, are prototyped with a number of monstrous permutations, taking attributes from the prototypings of 11 dead lusus and the frog from the blue Frog Temple. The easiest way to get rid of the imps house/hive is to just tell them to get out. I'm not sure why you haven't thought of that.
Other times when imps are tiny they are referred to as quibbles (small things Yahtzee personally finds irritating in a game, such as in Borderlands) and, on two occasions, there has been an imp with a white body and black eyes(the occasions in question being Resident Evil 5 and Shadow of the Colossus) Not only that, but they also appear on the logo for both Zero Punctuation itself, and Extra Punctuation as well. In Yahtzee's |Halo Wars review, Imps were in a bonus clip at the end in which one sneaks onto Yahtzee's computer and a group of them begin to make a crude review of Pedigree Chum, only for the Imp posing as Yahtzee to be shot at the end. This was the first time that Imps had a voice, which consisted of high pitched mumbling. Female Imps are present as well, but little difference is seen between them besides a red bow, or a pink bow in BioShock 2.
