  • Lex Luthor has been Superman's archenemy for most of the superhero's existence. He has been envisioned as Superman's dual opposite; morally depraved and relying on intellect over strength. Rather than harnessing his genius for good, Luthor seizes power for his own benefit and is a threat at large. Though originally portrayed as a rogue scientist, he was later rewritten as a Machiavellian industrialist and white-collar criminal (even briefly serving as President of the United States). Later characterizations have shown elements of both interpretations. __TOC__

  • Alexander "Lex" Luthor was the billionaire CEO of LuthorCorp. He has struggled with a dark history and a darker destiny. Lex is the son of Lionel Luthor and Lillian Luthor. He was the brother of Julian Luthor and the half brother of Lucas. He had a thick mop of red hair as a child but has been bald since age nine after being caught in the 1989 meteor shower that hit Smallville. In the final years of Lex and Clark's association, Lex finally and decisively turned to darkness. He abused his company's assets and resources to fund questionable and most likely illegal scientific research on cloning and alien intelligence. He also recently purchased Metropolis' main newspaper, the Daily Planet and named himself CEO. In the late spring of 2008 Lex discovered Clark's secret. Lex goes to the Fortress of Solitude through the Kawatche Caves and is trapped when it collapses and presumed dead. Lex somehow survived the collapse and is hooked up to life support system. Several months later Oliver Queen got revenge on Lex by planting one of Toyman’s bombs under the truck he was in, seemingly killing him.

• (Excerpts from the Superman Wiki). In the post-Man of Steel mythos, Luthor was born in the Suicide Slum district of Metropolis. In his younger years, Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor grew up in a household where his cruel and short-tempered father abused his mother and belittled his dreams of a better life. His only friend was schoolmate Perry White, who encouraged Lex's aspirations of escaping the slums and becoming a success. uring his teens, Lex's neighborhood environment cultivated in him a ruthless savvy and talent to manipulate. Lex took out a large insurance policy on his parents without their knowledge and sabotaged their car's brakes, killing them. Lex was put into a foster home where he would wait until he became of legal age to collect the insurance money. Lex soon discovered that his foster parents were even more brutal than his biological parents. Greedy and manipulative, they schemed to find out the location of Lex's money and steal it from him. Shortly after Lex turned the age in which he could have access to his money, he secretly put it in a savings account with the explicit instruction that only he be allowed to make withdrawals. When his foster parents found bank documents Lex had hidden from them, Lex's foster father confronted his daughter Lena and demanded that she seduce Lex (who had fallen in love with Lena) into giving her parents the money. Lena, who had feelings for Lex, refused and for her trouble was beaten to death by her father. Lex was absent from the home at the time, having been talked into going to a football game by his friend Perry. When Lex returned home, he was heartbroken to find Lena murdered by her father. This event would serve as the turning point for Lex Luthor, who vowed to do whatever it took to gain power and absolute control over his surroundings. Decades later, on the day Lex's daughter was born; Lex hired his criminal foster father to assassinate the mayor of Metropolis. Following the killing, Lex met with Lena's murderer in an alley (under the pretense of payment) and personally shot him. Lex named his daughter Lena.[6] Perry White was the first target of Lex's wrath once he became powerful. Lex blamed Perry for Lena's death, and retaliated by seducing Perry's wife, fathering a baby with her. The offspring Jerry White, would later learn of his true parentage during his late teens before being killed by a local street gang he had associated with. Years later, Lex would on several occasions purchase ownership of the Daily Planet and attempt to kill the newspaper out of contempt for Perry. (For the rest of it go [1]here read only Post Crisis up to the relationships. After that isn't where I'm playing him. He's still powerful, he's still rich and important.)

While I do not enjoy sharing the personal details of my life, I find it wise to keep my fan base happy (that clown's bragging about having a page before me was...unappreciated) so I will indulge you. At the minimum, I deserve a page before that alien with the yellow ring. My name is Alexander Joseph Luthor. You may address me as "Lex" or preferably as "Mr. Luthor," or "Mr. President", depending on whether or not I am currently president, as I was from Lex 2000 #1 to the Superman/Batman series, just anything but "Lexy." That clown drove me nuts with that name! From my humble beginnings in Action Comics #23 (April, 1940), I have been portrayed as almost everything between a Mad Scientist and a rather upscale white-collar criminal, a maniacal villain to an abused child, courtesy of my evil, sadistic, backstabbing, manipulating lunatic of an excuse for a father, Lionel Luthor. I have been married eight times; the first seven don't count, and the last one I ended by blowing up my wife. At least two of my children have been killed: Lex Luthor Jr. and his mother, Ardora, when their planet was destroyed, and Jerry White, of whose parentage I was not aware until his death. The only ones of my blood who have lived are Lena (whereabouts unknown), daughter of Contessa, my last wife; and Conner Kent, who is (biologically) my son with Superman (Spare me the "clever" remarks, please.) Conner is the only one for whom I have truly cared as a father, though only a clone made using my DNA and that of the Man of Steel. Unfortunately, he has turned from me to the path of the "hero". Speaking of heroes, I'm sure you're aware that my arch-nemesis is Superman. Our relationship is... complicated and my feelings for him are mixed. I do find him annoying, but it is difficult not to admire him -- even when he destroys one of my creations that was not meant to garner his attentions. I have been played by Lyle Talbot, Gene Hackman, Kevin Spacey, Scott James Wells, Sherman Howard, John Shea and Michael Rosenbaum. Voice acted by (the most famous) Clancy Brown, Ray Owens, Stan Jones, Michael Bell, James Marsters, Chris Noth, Anthony LaPaglia, Joe J. Thomas, and Mark Rolston.
  • Lex Luthor (Alexander Joseph Luthor) is a fictional supervillian created by DC comics as Superman's archenemy. He is a power-hungry mad scientist and the owner of LexCorp-- a vast conglomerate corporation that controls much of Superman's earth. There are several origins that explain his beginnings, from knowing Superman as a child, to growing up in some slums and murdering his parents for insurance money. But no matter the canon being followed, Lex Luthor is very, very evil. He has done everything from holding the world hostage with a death ray to becoming President of the United States of America. Name an evil scheme, and he's done it. Interestingly, Lex Luthor has no superpowers to speak of. Once or twice he has donned a power armor suit, but never has he permanently given himself super powers. The fact that he is such a threat to the near-omnipotent Superman without having extra-human powers himself hints to his great intellect and formidable killer instincts. He is not to be messed with, and under no circumstances is he allowed to run amok in HQ. Lex Luthor is evil, and portraying him as otherwise accounts as OOC unless it's from a comicverse where he's not completely awful. He has several different canonical wives and love interests. His fanbase is unknown, but may be presumed to be very splintered just as his canon is from comic series to comic series. Fangirls likely will take an interest in his most recent appearances, while fanboys will agonize over the tiniest details of his canon appearances... often to stupid ends.

  • Lex Luthor is a fictional character, a supervillain who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. He is the archenemy of Superman and first appeared in Action Comics #23 (Apr. 1940), and was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Luthor is described as "a power-mad, evil scientist" of incredible technological prowess. His goals typically center on killing Superman, usually as a stepping stone to world domination. Though he periodically wears a powered exoskeleton, Luthor has traditionally lacked superpowers or a dual identity. The character was originally depicted as a mad scientist who, in the vein of pulp novels, wreaks havoc on the world with his futuristic weaponry. In his earliest appearances, Luthor is shown with a full head of red hair; despite this, the character later became hairless as the result of an artist's mistake. A 1960 story by Jerry Siegel expanded upon Luthor's origin and motivations, revealing him to be a childhood friend of Superboy who lost his hair in a chemical spill. Following the 1985 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths, the character was re-imagined as a Machiavellian industrialist and white-collar criminal, even briefly serving as President of the United States. In recent years, various writers have revived Luthor's mad scientist persona from the 1940s. The character was ranked as the eighth greatest villain by Wizard on its "100 Greatest Villains of All Time" list. IGN's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villians Of All Time List ranked Lex Luthor as #4.

  • Little is known about Lex Luthor's origins, but he was an admirably self-made man. With the aid of his natural genius and his general lack of conscience, Luthor assembled a vast fortune and founded LexCorp. Through a combination of Luthor's ruthless business tactics and genuine ingenuity, LexCorp quickly became one of the largest corporations in the United States. Now clearly the most powerful man in Metropolis, Luthor's ego and pride drove him to try and position himself as the face of the city, donating millions to charity and erecting libraries, schools, and hospitals in his name. However, at heart, Luthor was devious, shrewd, and cold. Metropolis was to be an empire, with Luthor as absolute ruler. LexCorp forced virtual monopolies on public works, technology, transportation, and even became a major defense contractor—all with the underlying goal of collecting more and more power and wealth for the greedy Luthor.

Currently, Luthor is a scientist and former chairman of one of the most powerful high-tech conglomerates in the world, LexCorp. Distinguishing Luthor from the majority of Superman's rogues gallery is his normality; Luthor is an innovator and possesses no special abilities besides that of his own cunning. He is bent on destroying Superman. Luthor is one of several Superman characters with the initials "LL". Luthor is also notable for having appeared in several adaptations of Superman adventures for other media. __TOC__

De tez blanca y ojos verdes, siempre acostumbra vestir formal, generalmente abrigos caros de colores oscuros o en ocaciones una sencilla camisa de color pastel con pantalones oscuros a juego con zapatos de cuero negros.
