Most of the time his stomach has a cream colour unlike Sandy who has a white stomach.

In the MTV full version, which is 8:15 long, verse 3 censors Stan mentioning his girlfriend in the trunk (so "Shut up bitch" and "screaming in the trunk" is censored), and about him not slitting her throat, but tied her up, and "If she suffocates, she'll suffer more, then she'll die too", which "slit", "tied her up", "suffocates" and "die" is censored. The video censors verse 3 from showing her tied up and her mouth covered with duct tape in the trunk, which she manages to get it off from her mouth and screams, which it censors from hearing her screams. It also censors when Stan says he "drank a fifth of vodka", which censors "drank" and "vodka", and censors when he says he's on "a thousand downers", which "downers" is censored, and also censors from showing Stan drinking while driving. Also, at the end of verse 3, "Well, gotta go, I'm almost at the bridge now" is changed to "Well, gotta go, I'm almost at the end of the bridge now". While in the fourth verse, the line "[And what's this] shit about us meant to be together" is completely censored. It also censors the whole line: "And had his girlfriend in the trunk, and she was pregnant with his kid". In the MTV short version, the intro skit is shortened, and lines are missing on verses 2 and 3, because of the length of the song, to make the video shorter, and making it 16 lines each verse (being common in most rap songs), making the video 6:00 long. The second verse lines that are missing are from "I ain't that mad though, I just don't like bein lied to" to "I even got a tattoo of your name across the chest", which the video cuts showing Stan meeting Eminem, saying about his father cheated on his mother and beat her and showing him get a "Slim Shady" tattoo on his chest. The third verse lines that are missing is about Stan saying about drinking while driving and saying about Phil Collins' song "In the Air Tonight", which in the video, it skips from showing Stan near-missing a car, and swerving to avoid crashing into it. The lines that are missing are from "Hey Slim, I drank a fifth of vodka, you dare to me to drive?" to "I hope you know I ripped all of your pictures off the wall". It also removes the chorus after the third verse and goes straight to the fourth verse, which the video cuts Eminem at last receiving the letter from Stan, and the car sinking more into the water.

- The polar opposite of his fellow mechanic Koji, Stan is very direct and combative, and doesn't hesitate to speak his mind, especially when the safety of a teammate is at stake. Stan feels that Don Wei is putting too much pressure on Molly to win on Ōban, and that Don is too prideful and concerned with his own feelings to consider the feelings of the rest of the team. This is seen the most when the team reaches Ōban, as they are usually the spectators of the drama the team faces and are seen having brief conversations about Don Wei's behavior. A recurring theme is Stan telling Koji that Don Wei is heartless and a robot - an idea Koji usually rejects. After returning to Earth, he goes back to work for Miguel.
- Stan was Leonard Rish's camerman who accompanied the reporter/terrorist to Wichita. The two later returned to Air Force One where Rish later got the opportunity to meet the President. To ensure his mission went ahead without a glitch, Rish secretly poisoned Stan with the same cobra venom he had used to kill Ray Trapp and Timothy Kerry which caused Stan to suffer a stroke and begin seizing in the Press Cabin on board the plane, resulting in the entire Secret Service agents being directed away from the President's quarters and the medical personnel also being called in to help Stan. Luckily, NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs caught onto Rish's plan and dispatched Secret Service Agent Caitlin Todd to cover the President while he went ahead to stop Rish. Gibbs tried to get Rish to surrender but Rish resisted, forcing Gibbs to kill him. Stan's fate is unknown but it is presumed that as was the case with Trapp and Kerry, that he too did not survive the poisoning, resulting in his death.

This, at times, can be troublesome for himself and Aaron Stone- but, Stan finds ways to work around this. Stan lives in the Landers' house, Amanda Landers having turned it into a boarding home, to stay close to Charlie and all situations at hand. Stan has often impersonated Amanda Landers's voice to get Jason to do something and in "Beastland" Amanda sends him to tell her sons not to do a dangerous jump at a BMX track. Stan has seemingly enjoyed attempting to take on a somewhat parental role in the household to Charlie and Jason, and may eventually become a fatherly type figure to them. Stan also has taken a job as a teacher in Charlie, Emma Lau and Jason's High School to keep close to all situations at hand. He seemingly takes his job seriously, though the children usually don't. Stan's main role is assisting Aaron Stone- but ever since Emma Lau has revealed that she works for T. Abner Hall, he and Emma alternate the role of sidekick. When not assisting Aaron, Stan is usually busy scheming a way to keep Jason from discovering Charlie's alternate identity. In "Not So Friendly Skies Part 2", T. Abner Hall told Aaron Stone and Emma to leave Stan behind, since both were forced to desert him on a mission. Disobeying orders, the teens go back for Stan. Hall's notion has made viewers question what part Stan really plays in all of this and if there is something being kept secret. In "My stakeout with stan" it appears that STAN is the only being Mr hall trusts. He also has a weakness for malfunctions and sometimes accidentally repeats phrases due to this. In "Chuck or Charlie" it is revealed that STAN is able to fight, but doing so will cause him to lockdown. But as he told Charlie it takes quite a time, and that he can cause alot of damage before his circuits are burned and destroyed. In "S.T.A.N. By Me" S.T.A.N. is seen fighting Hunter. With Hunter being an android he could fight Hunter without disobeying Asimov's laws. Although Stan lost to him he took Hunter down with the electro melee function. In "Mutant Rain Part 2," S.T.A.N joins Aaron's fight against Grudge, initially trying to scare him off with blasts nearby from his laser, but Grudge refuses and nearly kills Aaron. Seeing no other choice and not wanting his friend to get hurt, S.T.A.N manages to break the Three Laws and blasts Grudge, knocking him down allowing Aaron to defeat and free him. S.T.A.N, as he knew he would, self-destructs as a consequence of breaking the Three Laws, sacrificing himself to save Aaron and only leaving his head fully intact. Despite the loss of his body, Vas and Ram are able to reactivate S.T.A.N's head which is able to track Aaron's location and take him with them to the White House. There, Jason uses his head to defeat and capture Elias Powers (though he later secretly escapes with U's help) by hitting Elias in the head with S.T.A.N's head. After it's all over, T. Abner Hall rebuilds S.T.A.N, new and improved stating that although S.T.A.N still looks and acts the same as before, he can do so much more now. S.T.A.N, along with the rest of Aaron's team, are finally shown Hall's face as a sign of his now absolute trust in them.

Unfortunately, Stan's peaceful rule of the Empire was threatened by Palestine taking the fleet to war with the New Republic arm of the Galactic Alliance. Palestine's Imperial Fleet—which was formally allied with Stan—was defeated swiftly and hid in the heart of the Deep Core for five years. The Republic Fleet attacked again in 172 ABY, and Stan finally confronted Palestine for a rematch. He defeated the Emperor but as he turned away, the spirit of the Emperor took over his body. Stan had planned for this and transferred his spirit into a waiting clone, that looked just like his old human body but had the great strength of his transformed original body. This clone was simply known as Stan's Clone. He and his sons formed an alliance with the leaders of the New Republic Fleet to drive the Renegades out of the Deep Core and into the Unknown Regions. Once surrounded by allies that Stan and his advisors, including Alexander Fel and Ophphae Imperium, had created in the Unknown Regions, the renegade threat was ended. Stan and his uncle introduced the Republic leaders to Emperor Thomas "Will" Cherokee, who had been holding the throne for Stan. Cherokee, the true Emperor for the past six years and the Regent under Stan before that, introduced a motion in the Imperial Senate to nominate Stan as Galactic Emperor. Stan accepted the nomination and his first decree was that the Galactic Alliance and the Imperial Union would merge to become the United Galactic Empire. Stan had already discussed that idea with the Republic and Imperial military leaders, and the decree was accepted by all. Stan appointed the highest ranking Imperial, Cherokee, as his Regent and the highest ranking Republic member as his Grand Vizier. Then the work of exploring the Galaxy together was able to proceed, starting with Stan's revelation of all the allies he had made in the Unknown Regions. Those regions were soon named the Western Analogues, once Emperor Stan revealed the trade routes that the vast Empire had blazed into and through them. Stan's Galactic Empire lasted from 174 ABY to 181 ABY, when the Praxeum was formed, dissolving the Empire.
