• Nearly every Zelda game involves locating and exploring dungeons, which are locations in which much of the action in the games takes place; they are generally underground labyrinths that contain various types of traps, enemies, and puzzles, usually with a boss at the end, and often a mini-boss near the middle. Most dungeons contain one or two special items hidden inside which are required to complete the dungeon, and those items are often of use later in the game. Many of these are recurring items throughout the series, while others are exclusive to a single entry. Dungeons usually have a theme that governs the types of puzzles contained therein. Most of the time, the solutions to the puzzles require using an item that is acquired within the dungeon. In the later entries in the series, the

There are no guards inside the Dungeon which lies beneath the sewers of the city. But rumors are there is a dark creature somewhere in this labyrinth who has found this place in one of Hemah’s dark dreams. Others say there would be only rats—but thousands of them!—fed by the guardians to make the punishment complete. Erwos alone can decide if someone is guilty of a betrayal of the crown. That’s why he is feared by the citizens. If it was a speech of peace, or only a tax evasion—the punishment is the Dungeon.

  • Dungeon is a general fantasy term for an underground adventuring area that has been conflated in World of Warcraft to mean almost any instance. From the official World of Warcraft website: Source: See also: * Instance guide * Instances by level * Raid * Elite area
  • Dungeons are special sets of maps, where defeating a mob on one map normally takes you to the next map of the dungeon. Entering a dungeon generally requires a key of some sort, and there is often a special prize for completing all levels. In many dungeons you can also fight unique monsters that may have useful drops. In dungeons mobs respawn instantly when attacked, instead of just after being killed. This is to prevent waiting when two or more parties go through the same dungeon at the same time. All dungeon mobs are passive unless noted otherwise. Guilds may place a Perceptor in any room of a dungeon.
  • Players will never encounter the opposing Realm (enemy players) in a dungeon. Even though most dungeons are able to be traversed by both Factions, all dungeons separate players into serparate instances for each Realm. Common to all dungeons however, is that the end boss is heavily instanced so that only a small amount of players can fight it at the same time, regardless of how many players were in the main area of the dungeon. Unlike many other MMOs, Warhammer Online attempts to keep the number of people in a dungeon at any one time small, by instancing (interestingly, contrary to the philosophy of minimal instancing in the normal game world - outside of dungeons). In terms of instancing, dungeons come in three varieties: * Realm Instanced dungeons are only instanced for each side as described above. (Everbody from the same Realm/Faction adventures together in the same instance/version of the dungeon.) * Warband Instanced dungeons have separate instances for each Warband (a collection of several 6-man Groups) who adventure together but may not necessarily help each other. * Group Instanced dungeons are instanced per 6-man Group, so that each Group of 6 players (who have previously decided upon who is in their Group) experience a separate version of the dungeon, removed from all other players.
  • Dungeon is a room in Dark Torvus from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It serves as an entry point to the underground part of Dark Torvus Bog. Two Dark Grenchlers patrol the floor. Underneath is a large section filled with dark water that hides a Sky Temple Key. The Aetherian version of this room is Catacombs.

  • Dungeon is the nineteenth level in Advanced Mode in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the seventy-ninth level in Ultimate Mode. It consists of a maze of walls with only one path leading to the goal. There is also a ceiling on top of the maze, so you cannot see the correct path on the map.
  • The Dungeon is a room or set of rooms that can be built in the basement of a player-owned house. It can be built at level 70 Construction. The dungeon room, unlike other rooms, can come in 3 different styles, each with their own hotspots. * Corridor * Junction * Stairs Room Each part of a dungeon that is built counts as a room against the total number of rooms a player can have. For example, building a stairs room, a junction, and two corridors counts as four rooms. Some players who wish to build an extensive dungeon often end up removing other rooms they had previously built. It costs 7500 coins to make a Corridor, Junction or Stairs Room.
  • After you have created your character, you will begin your Angband adventure. Symbols appearing on your screen will represent the dungeon's walls, floor, objects, features, and lurking about. In order to direct your character through his adventure, you will enter single character .

The dungeon itself is around the same size as Palmia and could fit around 6 small castles in itself. The dungeon does not replace your house or act like one, but acts more like a storehouse in the fact that all you can do is redesign it and use it as storage. When you place it, the dungeon is called "." which means it has no name. On the world map, it looks like an ordinary gray cave.
  • Dungeons (engl.
  • Characters that are in a dungeon are not given a timer while: 1. * They are solo 2. * They are in a squad whose leader is in that dungeon Once they join a squad whose leader is not in the dungeon, or leave the squad they are in, they are given a timer. Characters who have a timer active are counted as outside of that dungeon. Therefore, if a character leaves a squad, any of their former squad members they invite will also receive a timer.
  • Dungeons (dt.

  • A Dungeon (ダンジョン, Danjon?) is any type of adventuring location in MMO games, which is designed like a labyrinth or maze-like structure that has numerous paths, monsters, and rooms (for closed dungeons). Two main types of dungeons exist in Sword Art Online, Labyrinths (迷宮区, Meikyū-ku?) and sub-dungeons.
  • Dungeon is a general fantasy term for an underground adventuring area that has been conflated in World of Warcraft to mean almost any instance, but tends to refer to 5-man instances as opposed to raid instances. From the old official World of Warcraft website:

  • Dungeons are usually accessed from the world map, but in some cases, they are accessed via other, smaller dungeons, either by passageways or warp devices, or in some rarer cases, the player is taken to a dungeon due to a plot event. The final dungeon is the area where the final boss resides. Most games also feature secret, optional dungeons, that either hold precious treasure or incredibly strong superbosses.

  • A dungeon is an area in which a powerful boss enemy may be found. Players have to venture into dungeons for quests. The bosses of dungeons often drop high-level items. Dungeons, for the most part, do not appear on maps. They tend to be at the end of an area. Dungeons bosses for story quests are named.
  • Dungeons are areas players go to fight battles against Monsters, gain treasure, and get experience.

  • In 2267, James T. Kirk, Spock and Doctor Leonard McCoy were all imprisoned in an illusory dungeon on Pyris VII, equipped with various medieval artifacts. Kirk observed that all they experienced, like dungeons, curses, skeletons and iron maidens were all Earth manifestations. Spock later stated that things like dungeons, ghosts, witches, castles and black cats all belonged to universal Human myths and symbols. (TOS: "Catspaw" )

  • Dungeons (「ダンジョン」?; Danjon) are dangerous regions of Nippon ruled by powerful evil entities. Amaterasu and Chibiterasu's exploration of each dungeon usually culminates in a boss fight, which may automatically move them to a new location afterwards; however, not all bosses have their own dungeons. Within the main plots of Ōkami and Ōkamiden, each dungeon boss is unique and does not reappear except in the endgame and the optional Devil gate trial caves. When Amaterasu first enters a required dungeon, its location name is shown on-screen with a small icon that resembles Oni Island. Within the dungeon, the non-boss combat-arena encounters (Demon Scrolls or Devil gates) are colored blue. Much of the same is true for the dungeons Chibiterasu must traverse, except there are no scrolls or gates to be had, and most enemy encounters are forced. The dungeons can be divided into several different types of categories. The following list organizes them by major plot arc and uses the following descriptions: * Unlimited-tour: once the location is accessed, Amaterasu and Chibiterasu can leave and return through the original entrance at any time, even after the local boss is defeated. * Limited-tour: once the location is accessed, Amaterasu and Chibiterasu can repeatedly leave and return through the original entrance until the local boss is defeated. After that, the location is closed off and they cannot return. * Single-tour: once the location is accessed, Amaterasu and Chibiterasu cannot leave through the original entrance. The only way to exit the dungeon is by defeating the local boss; after that, the location is closed off and they cannot return.

  • Dungeons were introduced in the "Secret Friday Update 2" to Indev and 0.9.0 for the Pocket Edition. They are small rooms made of Cobblestone and Moss Stone that contain a hostile Mob spawner and up to two chests. Finding a dungeon without a chest is very unlikely, but possible. Dungeons were the only place where Moss Stone could be found in a natural map, but in 1.3, Jungle Temples were introduced, that were also made of Moss Stone and Cobblestone, and then later, in 1.8, the Mega Taiga biome was added, which had small boulders generated in them, made out of Moss Stone. Anyone exploring a Cavern should be wary of encountering a dungeon, as they are almost always connected to large caverns, and are very dangerous. Dungeons do exist on peaceful mode, as they are generated with the map, but the Monster Spawner will not spawn anything.__NOTC__
• Dungeon (ダンジョン) is a role-playing game designed by Kou Shibusawa and Kazunari Uota.
  • The Dungeon is the name given to the playing field used in the game of "Dungeon Dice Monsters", which consists of a 13-by-19-tile board. On each end of the board sits a "Monster Lord"; the area it occupies (on the 7th tile from each side on the row closest to the players) is known as the Monster Lord Area, and each player has to dimension his/her dice to form a path that will allow their monsters to reach and defeat the opponent's Monster Lord.
  • A Dungeon is one of the seven most basic Encounter Zone types. These are among the easier Encounters (relatively speaking), where the sites themselves have no added functionality. Dungeons are guarded by Fantastic Creatures of the File:Icon Nature.pngNature Realm in the official game, and either File:Icon Nature.pngNature or File:Icon Chaos.pngChaos in Insecticide or later. Depending on which Plane the Dungeon appears on (i.e. Arcanus or Myrror), it may contain anything up to and including File:Icon Nature.pngGreat Wyrms (or File:Icon Chaos.pngGreat Drakes). Some Dungeons are empty (containing no monsters). The reward for defeating a Dungeon's guardians is random, and varies based on the strength of these creatures. It can range from small amounts of File:Icon Gold.png and File:Icon Mana.png all the way up to new Spellbooks and Retorts (and, occasionally, "Absolutely nothing"). If the Treasure contains one or more Spellbooks, they will be books of File:Icon Death.png (unavailable to Wizards possessing any File:Icon Life.pngLife books). Unconquered Dungeons may occasionally spawn Rampaging Monsters, a group of Neutral Fantastic Units matching the Realm of the site's defenders. The strength of these stacks increases as the game matures. These monsters will head straight for a nearby Town controlled by one of the Wizards. On the higher Difficulty Settings, they will typically target the human player's Cities.
  • Spiders and their webs decorate an awkward wall inside of the dark hole, where traitors are thrown into for the rest of their life. Only one portal leads in these caves of despair, only one man has the key. The commander of the guardians, Erwos—he opens and closes the door personally. Tears and Blood No simple bond between man and wife Is close to what we together share Parents, children, friends for life Those relationships don’t compare For what we have is even more rare You, my victim, held by chains And I, with knives, who brings you pain Never more honest than when with me You will betray those other loves Faithful, focused you will be Your trembling lips will kiss my glove As if I am your god above We will share what you hold dear Those hidden thoughts only I will hear As lovers joined in rapt delight So we will be upon my boards But where their devotion lasts a night My pains will keep you bound for more More fierce than any common whore The world will slip away from us For torture is more intense than lust When finally our dance is through And you have shown your heart to me A yearning will return to you A desire to inflict misery To return to our sweet fantasy For all else is subdued by suffering Tears and blood are true intimacy —A Svartalfar torturer’s rhyme
In the later entries in the series, the items in each dungeon are usually used to fight that dungeon's boss. Dungeons have been an essential component of the Zelda series beginning with the original Legend of Zelda. These dungeons were rather complex for their time, and such levels had not previously been seen in video games. Enemies occasionally re-spawn to attack adventurers, and a room may be "reset" (in the sense that everything returns to its starting point) when Link exits and reenters a room. There are a total of 148 dungeons in the series.
  • The Dungeon is a stage featured in Killer Instinct 2/Gold. It is the area where the sequel's final boss, Gargos, is fought.
  • A Dungeon (ダンジョン, Danjon?) is any type of adventuring location in all MMO games, which is designed like a labyrinth or maze-like structure that has numerous paths, monsters, and rooms (for closed dungeons). There are plenty of dungeons in Elder Tale.
  • A Dungeon is a set of rooms where players must defeat monsters in one room to progress to the next room leading to a final boss. Entering a Dungeon requires a specific Key, each dungeon requiring a different key to gain access to. In many Dungeons, you can also fight unique monsters that drop special items, crafting ingredients and various loot. In higher level dungeons, after completion, a chest will appear containing a special Haven Bag decoration. Some dungeons are unique to specific Nations while others have slightly different rewards based on which Nation they are present in. Dungeons that are present in all four nations are linked and party members can enter from different nations and end up in the same instance of the dungeon. Most dungeons have dungeon machines, which you can get items from with dungeon tokens. Dungeon tokens can be obtained by defeating the boss of the dungeon. You can only use the dungeon machine if you have the token for the dungeon machine. Like, if you have a celestial piwi token, you can't obtain items from the tofu machine. Dungeon machines are usually present next to the dungeon. If you buy and item from the dungeon machine, you cannot merge set items with it.
  • A Dungeon is a recurring location where the player can explore and run around with their character of their choice. They made their first appearance in the original Hyperdimension Neptunia and have been present in every title of the main series and remakes.
  • Attack Bonus and Intelligence checks occur more often in dungeons.
  • Prince Duncan can find his way here by two ways, one, through falling offscreen on any level, or, two, by entering it through the Basement. This level is a trap, meaning the only way out, is to fight the Shovel Henchman, and flip the switch behind him, to turn off the torture machine, and then take down the Whip Henchman, grab the Keys, and head to the exits, of which only one is real.

  • Dungeons players a better part on later levels and many enemies are found deep down dungeons, the most recognizable are Holy Land of temerie where a flag hunt even may occur and its a place where only low levels can fight (until level 30). Caligo:Also divided by levels, it can host a small war similar to the adam blood bible wars, players need to get vouchers near 3 orbs scatteread around the map that stay near each race spawn point, if one race can get it they receives bonus to their stats in Menegroth:Broken place that require 5 seals to enter and last 1 hour, its the only place separated per race and also divided by levels, most monster there grants lots of experience and have huge hp but barely drop good itens for their level, it basically negated all maps since theres no motivation whatsoever to go anywhere but here as you can get levels absordudly fast, with Ignited server is a great example as they give you the ability to increase your exp by 300% plus double exp time, many players can reach level 100/150 in less than a day only there.
  • Dungeon (ロウゴク, Rougoku) is the one-hundredth eighty seventh chapter of the Nisekoi manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi, and published weekly in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump.
  • A Dungeon is an instance area in the game where a player or groups of players work to complete a set of objectives, the pinnacle of which is usually defeating a dungeon boss. Dungeons appear throughout the game and usually require the player to establish his or her own party, if desired, before entering; however, certain, more difficult dungeons can be entered using the queue system. At level 60, the player unlocks the ability to enter Epic Dungeons, many of which are the same areas seen during usual quest progression but with much stronger enemies and level-appropriate loot.

  • A dungeon is an area that usually contains tougher monsters, more dangers, and better loot. Dungeons in the D&D pen and paper RPG are generally the only places where high quality loot and large swathes of money will be found. It usually also contains a boss monster that carries some significance - whether it be he's the target of a quest, or just the guy with the key to the treasure room, or maybe even a great treasure itself. Dungeons have been the mainstay of Dungeons & Dragons games for years.

  • Dungeon was Games Domains version of Dungeon explorer. It was very strange because after a while Games Domain just changed Dungeon explorers name to dungeon. However Jagex still called it Dungeon explorer but redirected the link. Technically it was a seperate game however it was exactly the same game under a different name so for more information visit the Dungeon explorer page.
