  • Evidently, only men can be werewolves. The only demonstrable means of becoming a werewolf is to be cursed by a witch or a warlock, or to be the descendant of another werewolf. These two rules do not apply to the 2012 film universe, in which Carolyn Stoddard is a werewolf (a teen-aged one, no less) having been bitten in the crib by a creature sent by the witch Angelique. Werewolves are more mobile than skeletons, are warriors, and don't lose health every turn, but they have less health, are less expendable (skeletons can be raised from bones) and cannot be fully healed by moving to a necromancer. Despite this, many players favor the werewolf over the skeleton because it is not dependent on other units, like the Necromancer.

They are famed for their physical endurance, however, according to Riza Wildman they "Can't regenerate if they don't eat." Most of them look down on half-breeds; half-breeds, however, appear to be just as strong as full-blooded werewolves, although they can only transform from their arms, and sprout wolf-like ears. Werewolves have one natural enemy: vampires, as they always claimed that they've killed thousands of their comrades (although they've done the same to them). Unlike vampires, who favors subterfuge and trickery, werewolves prefers the head-on approach.
  • A werewolf is a human being who, upon the complete rising of the full moon, becomes a fearsome and deadly near-wolf. This condition is caused by infection with lycanthropy, also known as werewolfry. Werewolves appear in the form of a wolf but, there are distinctions between them and regular wolves.
  • Rain pours and lightning flashes through the sky as a skinny teenage boy pushes open a wire gate to a dark trail surrounded by trees. He holds his books close to his chest, glancing around for danger. The boy hears footsteps behind him and spins around, but sees nothing but darkness. Turning around again, he bumps into three tall teenagers staring down at the him. They throw him to the ground, and throw his backpack and books across the wet grass. The boy wails for them to stop, but they don't listen. They kick him over and over, until one of them pulls him up by the shirt. He feels blood dripping down his face as he is thrown back towards the fence. His body is filled with fear, but rage as well; as he wipes the blood off of his face, he notices that his hand is covered in a thick layer o
  • Android Mike Vincent summoned a Werewolf along with Frankenstein, a Mummy, and the Count to attack Kevin Keene. While the rest of the N Team handled the other monsters, Kid Icarus defeated the Werewolf by shooting it with a Bon Voyage Party Arrow, which carried it away with balloons. Android Mike Vincent was later ambushed by a Werewolf during his race against Kevin, but he destroyed it with a single Zapper shot. Whether this was the same Werewolf he summoned earlier or a different one is never established.
  • A type of beastman having the characteristics of wolves that live in packs. Their intelligence is high, but they are ferocious, and they use their strong legs and exceptional stamina to prowl forests, mountainous regions, etc. in search of prey. Additionally, since wild werewolves live in packs, if they take a liking to a man, he’ll be integrated into the pack, and then he’ll end up having to service multiple partners. He’d end up getting raped over and over by many werewolves every night.
  • Level 89 Werewolves can be found in the God Wars Dungeon. They also have better defence and accuracy than their Canifis counterparts, and are also aggressive to players not wearing an item of Zamorak. They are spread out all over the area except the Bandos area. Werewolves can be killed here for a Slayer assignment, but this is usually not recommended due to the length of the area. However there are many Spiritual Warriors and mages who can quickly decimate them, so players who do not care about the respawn time can quickly kill them there. __TOC__
  • Werewolves (also known as Lycanthropes) are terrifying creatures of brute strength and instinct. The devastating effect these creatures can have on a person have caused the understanding of their form to occupy one of fear and hatred. Werewolves have the chance to spread their affliction to others through their bodily fluids, and in many cases are drawn to doing so.
  • When London wax museum operator Raoul Duval fears that Maxwell Smart and 99 have become suspicious of his activities he brings a wax figure of a werewolf to life by injecting it with a serum and sends it to their suite at the Royal Park Hotel. He instructs the creature to "go and kill - and don't come home late. You know how I worry".
  • In 2267, James T. Kirk thought some of the Furies aboard the Rath resembled werewolves. (TOS novel: First Strike) In the summer of 2365, Jake Sisko applied makeup to make himself look like a werewolf. (DS9 - Worlds of Deep Space Nine novella: Bajor: Fragments and Omens) In 2369, Samuel Clemens thought Worf was a werewolf. (TNG episode: "Time's Arrow, Part II")
  • Starting at puberty, a biochemical defect of werewolf anatomy causes a slow cyclical build-up of toxins in a werewolf's body that every two or three months reaches a critical level and forces major endocrine system changes that initiate the temporary transformation. During this transformed state, the combination of a cerebral dysfunction and an insatiable hunger induce a frenzy that causes a werewolf to behave like a rabid animal. A swelling of the adrenal glands causes a massive surge of adrenaline that gives him or her augmented strength and speed during the transformed state.
  • Area 51's coordinates are 37 degrees 14 minutes north latitude, 115 degrees 48 minutes westlongitude. You can get a great view of it using Google Earth. Just type "Area 51" into the "Fly To" field and the map does the rest. For decades, the base remained hidden from almost everyone. Satellite imagery of the area was routinely deleted from government databases. In 1973, Skylab astronauts inadvertently photographed the airfield. However, according to declassified documents, the CIA managed to censor the picture and keep it from being seen by the public [source:Day]. Print Citation & Date
  • Werewolves are a supernatural species of shape-shifters, who possess the ability to shift between human and wolf forms. They are part of the "two-natured" species, and are a branch of the shifter species. Werewolves (also called Wolvs) are a separate biological branch of Shifters who have the ability to shift from human-to-wolf form. Unlike the vampires, their existence of wolvs isn't public knowledge.
  • They only count towards Slayer tasks and exp when killed in the "wolf" form, not their human forms. There is a strategy that can work to reduce damage when killing these for slayer, though. Start the fight with the wolfbane dagger equipped, then when the werewolf's health is low, switch to a different weapon. It will regain some health in the transformation to wolf form, but still be low, and will ultimately cause less damage than fighting as a wolf the entire time. Another way to safely complete a werewolf slayer task is to set up a Dwarf Cannon in the village, run into a house, and close the door. The Werewolves will agro to you and stack up at the door, but as you are not taking damage through the closed door, the cannon will target all of them. You will need to run outside only occasio
  • In the 1st century, mankind had a horror released upon it. A man and his brother were walking through the woods and a large wolf attacked them biting the younger of the two. After the older of the brothers chased off the wolf, they sought shelter in a nearby cave as it grew dark. The younger brother became the origin of what is known today as a "werewolf" through a series of miraculous biochemical events the mechanics of which are so mindbogglingly complex and unlikely that there is no point discussing it further.

  • The Howling Night During his youth Tyler was an awesome martial arts trainer. He study it all the time when he was a kid. He joined it along with his brother David, who is even better at it then he is. During the final show of their talent to retrieve the black belt eight were chosen to compete. The four that were victorious had to fight against each other. David had to face off with a ninja like kid and lost, but Tyler won against his opponent. So it was down to him and the ninja kid. The two fought their best, but in the end Tyler was the victor. As he helped her up the kid reveal herself as a girl, named Kenndra. Shocked to this amazement Tyler started to blush in her cuteness. Finally the sensei awarded him with a Black Belt. Tyler's uncle came up to him and said, "I'm so proud of you Tyler. Here this is for you. Your father wanted for me to give it to you when you were ready. I think now is the day." He gave Tyler a full moon necklace and put it around his neck. Suddenly as everyone is cheering his name he hears a ringing noise, and wakes up. Tyler wakes up to a loud ringing noise with his brother yelling his name into his ear saying that its time to go to school. And as Tyler arrives at school he mets up with Kenndra and starts to talk about the new Twilight movie coming out. He final gets the courage to ask her to the movie when she agreed to go. Back at the house he gets ready for the movies he remembers that this is the first day that he first got the black belt. As the full moon shines he starts to notice that the necklace he was wearing was starting to shine a well. Then out of nowhere he starts to act crazy, by grabbing his chest, groaning and moaning. And suddenly his nails start to become more like claws, he was getting furrier, his mouth and nose were starting to get longer, and his eyes changed from green to yellow. He then became a full Werewolf.

Monster Memory
  • Creatures which change between humanoid form and a large wolf, they are rumored to have once been fully humanoid, but infected with some disease or curse. They are known to summon large packs of wolves when attacking, as well as using their powerful jaws and sharp teeth. They supposedly retain their thick body fur when in humanoid form. Females This human has a lot of dark hair all over her body, unusually strong nails and disconcerting yellow eyes. She moves with the natural grace of a hunter and the hairy ears seem to twitch. Suddenly she throws back her head and emits a fearsome howl - and the call is answered!

bestiarytext
  • Werewolves are ferocious beasts who enjoy the thrill of a hunt. They are unnatural born hunters that have many traits of a wolf, but much more dangerous and lethal. Like wolves, a Werewolf claims a large hunting ground as its own and everything alive is seen as a suitable prey. Unlike wolves, werewolves do not only hunt for food, but also for the thrill of the hunt itself. Their magical nature makes them extremely resistant and their regeneration powers are legendary.
  • Werewolves are humans under a curse that causes them to lose control over their inner beasts. At the beginning, the transformation takes only place at full moon and the victim retransforms to its human appearance at the next morning. In the course of time, the transformation starts more and more early and lasts for a longer time. At a certain point, the beast takes over and there is no return. The human part is washed away by rage and primal instincts. The cursed person has turned into a savage Werewolf permanently.
  • The curse of the Werewolf is usually spread by the infectious bite of other werewolves. Forbidden books tell about methods that allow to turn somebody into a Werewolf with the help of dark rites. Some rotten individuals even call the curse upon themselves in the hope to use their new powers in order to take revenge for some injustice or insult.

  • Contrary to popular belief, their bites do not transform their victims into werewolves. On rare occasions, the victims can have their bodies metamorphosed, but this effect is only temporary.
  • Werewolves are men that are under a curse and were transformed into wolves. However, they are altogether much stronger than a man or a wolf. Once they die, they are freed from the curse and their corpses will take a human form.

  • Try to kill its summons first as they can nearly double the damage to a Player if their shielding is broken.
  • Knights hunting solo are advised to take advantage of the environment as much as possible in order to prevent their shielding from being broken.
  • Try to kill its summons first as they can nearly double the damage to a Player if their shielding is broken. Since Werewolves can respawn War Wolves again very fast the best idea is to use Ice Wave or Fire Wave by mage, while knight is blocking.

  • A simple strategy for mid level shooters is to shoot a Fire Bomb field, lure a werewolf, position themselves in the middle of the field and attack the werewolf. It will eventually enter the field to attack the shooter, but the summoned War Wolves and other Werewolves will stay out of it.

  • A werewolf or a lycanthrope is a human with the ability of transforming in a wolf . There are numerous types of werewolf : that transform at full mon , permanent werewolfs , werewolfs that shapeshift at will , and so on . Generaly , werewolfs infect humans by biting them and transforming them into werewolves . They have a weakness to silver .
  • Piper Halliwell once turned into a Wendigo, which Phoebe later mistook as a werewolf. She later described a wendigo to Paige as "like a werewolf, only meaner". Under the magical influence of the Blue Moon, the Charmed Ones once transformed into Blue Moon Beasts similar to how werewolves transform under a full moon.
  • A werewolf is a big creature with a head of a wolf and a body of a human, but they are all covered in fur. Werewolves are actually found at forest and rivers but others prefer to stay at urban. They hunt at the night and revert back to their human form at morning. A history of werewolf and vampires has been a battle they have been battling for centuries; land is what they are fighting for, however a werewolf is not true but maybe true.
  • Werewolves are lycanthropes that can take the shape of wolves and humanoid-wolf hybrids. In the Baldur's Gate games, they can only change into their hybrid forms. Only enchanted weapons can harm them, and the bastard sword Kondar is particularly effective against them.
  • A werewolf is a person who, according to legend, turns into a wolf or wolf-like creature every full moon. (TXF: "Shapes") Werewolf lore universally states that a person is born a werewolf you can not just become one. (TXF: "X-Cops") Werewolf mythology was passed down for centuries, and along with vampires and ghosts, many children wore werewolf masks for Halloween. In 1998, Jacob Steven Haley wore a werewolf mask in the robbery of the First Sovereign Bank of Pennsylvania. (TXF: "The Pine Bluff Variant") In 1997, Shaineh Berkowitz was under the impression that a child she saw on The Jerry Springer Show was an actual werewolf baby, when in fact it suffered from a disease known as hypertrichosis lanuginosa. (TXF: "The Post-Modern Prometheus") In 2000, an unidentified fear entity attacked several people over the course of two months in and around Willow Park and Los Angeles, California. Hyman Escalara saw this being as a werewolf, as that was his greatest fear, and when attacked by it, he sustained wounds equal to that of a legendary werewolf. A month later, Agents Mulder and Scully investigated this entity, with some help from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, under the impression that it was a werewolf. (TXF: "X-Cops") But all werewolves just want to be left in peace,They mean no harm unless you hurt them. So do not mess with them or else.
  • Their condition was usually called lycanthropy. (TV: Mindwarp)
  • They are wild wolf-like humanoid shape-shifters, a human subspecies or a class nine hyper-accelerated protean (HAP) life form. The first mention of werewolves in the series was by Ashley Magnus. When being treated by Magnus for shoulder stitches, Ashley becomes a little too chatty towards WIll, against her mother's wishes since he is still a guest at the moment. Ashley said that in the summer she turned 18, her mother, a group of a few nervous locals (including one who seriously looked like Adrien Brody), and herself drew an entire den of werewolves for research cataloging. As she continued to blather and recount the mission, Ashley mentions being low on silver bullets and the Full Moon was on the rise before being cut off by Will, accusing her of making up the story. However, later in the series it is not confirmed that silver hurts werewolves or that phases of the Moon affect werewolf transformations. The Cabal tries to permanently turn Henry Foss into his werewolf form, but he escapes from his cage by using the superhuman strength he gains during the transformation. Similar to vampires, the werewolf species has been hunted by humans almost to the point of extinction. Only small pockets of the species remain in the world. In 2010, Henry and Will headed to England after reports of werewolf sightings in a small village. Investigating the area, they discovered evidence that pointed to a mental institution. Henry, eager to meet another of his kind, wanted the Sanctuary to investigate, but since the clinic was private, they could not gain permission or force their way in. Henry decides to go in under cover as a patient, and is put through a battery of strange tests by the suspicious staff. Henry eventually learns that everyone in the mental institute is a lycan, members of an extended clan. After being persecuted for so long, they built the institute as their own personal Sanctuary. Since it is a mental institution, any strange behavior would just be put down to the patients' supposed illnesses, so they have been left alone for years. Unfortunately, Henry learned that years of persecution had taken its toll on the clan, all of whom now lived in fear of themselves. Using pills to keep the wolf side suppressed, they were essentially prisoners of their own safe haven. The elders of the clan kept order by tailoring the drug to turn the user aggressive if they go off the meds, therefore discouraging anyone from attempting it. They had even forgotten that is possible to control themselves when transformed, as many now believe when they transform they are mindless beasts. Henry was eventually drugged by the clan leader to use as an example to the others, since Henry has caused them to start questioning their way of life. The drugs force him into his wolf form and induce a berserker state, and he begins chasing Will who found his way into the institute. Fortunately, Will was saved by one of the clan members who secretly went off the drug and learnt how to control herself. She fought Henry long enough for the drugs to work out of his system. After this, the clan was taken in by the London Sanctuary where they could be taught to control their powers and live amongst society. In Season 4 it is revealed there are fears that the werewolf species is slowly dying out due to the lack of newborns. When Erika falls pregnant, Magnus discovers that the drugs that she and the clan were using to suppress their transformation also lowered their fertility rate. Now that she has come off the drugs, the chances of pregnancy have improved, though it is risky: her body is creating extra hormones as a defense after taking the medication for so long, something her body has trouble dealing with. Magnus suggests a procedure that will slow the embryo's growth, so that the hormones are released at a slower rate. This baby will be the first known HAP to be born since the death of Erika's parents. A female lycan's body will normally go into a cellular 'lock-down' mode (where her cells are unable to shift) to protect the fetus, because the transformation also changes a lycan's internal organs. The natural gestation period of a lycan is ten and a half months, slightly longer than a human's nine months.
  • Werewolf, or Coyote at The Fair 2015, was a transformation, a creature, and a Monster for the Halloween Party 2013. It was only available to members. You could transform into this by eating a Full Moon Fireball. It later returned during The Fair 2015, but with only the brown variation. At the Halloween Party 2016 members are able to transform into them by using the Monster Maker 3000.

(TNG episode: "Time's Arrow, Part II") The werewolf legend was the basis of a number of movies created in the 20th century. • Werewolves, or lycanthropes, are humanoids that can shapeshift into a wolf or wolf-like creature. Werewolves have a vulnerability to silver. The runic spell "mark of the werewolf" imbues a caster with the essence of a werewolf including its vulnerabilities. Some humans transform into lycanthropic worgen when the moon rises due to the Worgen Curse. Members of the Wolfcult have been known to transform into worgen, ferocious werewolf creatures.

  • A werewolf is a human/wolf hybrid. One can either be born a werewolf, or be bitten by a werewolf with Alpha powers. The transformation is more or less permanent upon midnight of a bitten werewolf's first moon or upon a born werewolf's birth. Transformation happens not only on the full moon, but also from intense emotion such as anger, fear, confusion, and arousal. A werewolf can also choose to wolf out, as displayed in a few episodes. Physical signs of werewolfism include yellow eyes that may flash in moments of those intense feelings, the transformation of the feet and hands into "paws", the tops of the ears growing and pointing, a lengthening and sharpening of the canine teeth into fangs, and conspicuous bodily hair growth. Hair growth occurs on top of the head, on the eyebrows, on the sides of the face, on the hands and arms, on the chest, on the feet, and probably the legs and back. Some werewolves, however, have less hair growth than others. Werewolf Lori had no hair on her cheeks, merely thicker eyebrows, and Stuart Dunleavy had Werewolf Pattern Baldness, which kept hair from growing on the top of his head. The Leader of the Syndicate had no conspicuous bodily hair growth at all. While studying Tommy for his book, Merton performs a series of evaluations, including an anal exam, and requests that Tommy to take his gown off for further studying. He puts all sorts of physical werewolf data in the book. His data is most likely limited in comparison to something, say, a member of the Syndicate might have at hand. A werewolf has superhuman strength, superhuman speed, and a superhuman appetite. Their senses are all heightened as well, and tracking scents is easy. Their hearing is also very sensitive. As seen in the fairytale The Three Little Pigs, they have enormous strength when blowing air out through their mouth. A werewolf is weak to silver. Contact with silver will sear a werewolf's flesh. Common weapons used against werewolves include silver cages and silver nitrate-filled guns. Intelligent Tim and Travis Eckert even used a high-pitched frequency that only a werewolf would be able to hear to get the Pleasantville Werewolf to fall right into their trap. Werewolves are also notoriously lactose intolerant. wolf out To transform into werewolf form. Can happen in varying levels of degrees. de-wolf To revert back to human form Alpha wolf To have the power to create new werewolves through biting humans Wolf Fu A method of fighting practiced by werewolves, apparently created by Warrior King Agustus

This mistake wasn't spotted until Chuck took Daphne to the roof of Castle Frank N. Stein whilst a full moon was out. Daphne quickly transformed and attacked Chuck. Oddly, she didn't seem to know she was a werewolf and was worried that the full moon could have altered Chuck. A variation of a werewolf is the Werehog, a transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog that featured prominently in Sonic Unleashed.
The brothers returned home and over the course of a week, the brother began noticing his body changing. He began growing more muscular and more harry. It took more meat to satisfy his hunger, devouring several pounds of flesh at every meal. He angered easily and resorted to violence more frequently by the day. And then the full moon arrived. He transformed for the first time into a wolf man hybrid that was ruled by instinct and bound only to fence posts. The brothers stayed in the cave a while, and they started to notice that they were changing- the vampire was becoming ill and his senses were getting stronger. His blood cells were dying and he would suffocate if he didn't have fresh blood to aid his breathing. The werewolf started getting bigger and hairier. It took more meat to satisfy his hunger, and since he was so hungry he ate his own vomit and poop, as dogs do. After they grew accustomed to their new selves, and felt they could control they're deadly outbursts, they returned to their village. The werewolf left his home to hunt, and he also left his beloved wife, assuming she would be safe. She was left with his brother, who hadn't fed in days. When the youngest returned he saw his older brother biting his wife. This enraged the werewolf, so he went on an accidental feeding frenzy and among all the corpses lay some who still lived- his army of werewolves. The vampire was alarmed and in an attempt to save himself from his deadly brother he forged his own army. They started the wars that are still going on in 3rd world countries such as Mexico, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Cuba. Some famous werewolves include the incredible hulk and the thing. Famous vampires include Dracula and Lestat. Famous werewolves include Jean Grenier and Jacques Roulet.

  • The Werewolf is supposed to be a mythological or folkloric human who, is under a curse or by magic, has the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or an anthropomorphic wolf-like creature under a full moon. The Werewolf is at the mercy of the full moon. Though this is not always the case. Some people say they are Werewolves, but most cases lead up to drug related issues or food poisoning.. Although it is possible to 'mind shift', as show below. Werewolves are popular since the 18th century, in the Old English. Werewolves have become widespread icons and famous topics of fiction.
  • In The Sims: Makin' Magic, a werewolf look is one of the options when a magical adult Sim successfully uses the "Beauty or Beast" charm . The werewolf look is available for both genders. As with all changes made with "Beauty or Beast", it is simply cosmetic, and has no effect on the Sim's interactions with other Sims.
  • There are many differences between Werewolves and skeletons, even though they cost the same amount of mana ( 100 Mana ) to summon. Due to their mobility, they can quickly kill barbarians threatening to capture important structures, although most players opt for the more powerful Mounted Terrorbird.

  • Werewolves or lycanthropes are mythological or folkloric human beings who possess the ability to shape-shift into anthropomorphic, humanoid, wolf-like creatures at the cycle of the full moon.
  • Finally, All werewolves possess the following capability. * Reformed Demon: A demon so holy and valiant that he finds himself out of place within the Netherworld may opt to become an Angel Trainee, either willlingly or by exile from the Netherworld's Overlord. Either way, they must be trained in Celestia over the course of two weeks to become a Reformed Demon. and must be accepted by a Seraph Angel to be nominated as an Angel Trainee. If the Demon succeeeds his training, he loses all of his Demon abilities and gains Angel abilities instead. Though they essentially become angels, Reformed Demons maintain their frightening demonic appearance, the only difference being a shift of eye color from blood red to a light blue or golden color, as a sign of their reformed nature.
  • Also known as Lycan
  • Level 89 Werewolves can be found in the God Wars Dungeon, and have a maximum hit of 256. They only count towards Slayer tasks and exp when killed in the "wolf" form, not their human forms. __TOC__
  • These NPCs only appear in the Elona+ version of Elona and were added in 1.30 version. They randomly appear in cities, disguised as citizens. You can ask a citizen "Are You a Werewolf?", and if the citizen in question is a werewolf, they will drop their disguise and rabidly attack everyone. Drops disguise set upon defeat. They can also appear undisguised in dungeons. These may also drop a disguise set upon defeat, but the drop rate appears to be somewhat lower. Voting can now be done in towns where there has been a werewolf attack. When the player has voted and is in town at noon, the NPC with the most votes will be executed. (If more than 1 NPC shares the top vote, 1 of them will be picked.) You can take advantage of this by voting for an NPC who has an important item you desire. Execution will increase the player's influence in the town whether the person was a werewolf or not.
  • A werewolf is a werecreature that turns into a wolf on the nights of a full moon. In modern culture, it is often established that they have some rivalry or war going on with vampires. There are many styles of werewolf around. Some are merely a change of face, size, and body hair. Others are more like anthropomorphic wolves. Still more are monstrous beasts, and there are also styles that change fully into a wolf, albeit one of notable size or special distinction.

Android Mike Vincent was later ambushed by a Werewolf during his race against Kevin, but he destroyed it with a single Zapper shot. Whether this was the same Werewolf he summoned earlier or a different one is never established. When the N Team traveled to Excalibur to find a way to wake Princess Lana from her magical slumber, Simon used his whip to take to the trees and outpace Kevin and Duke. While imagining what he would do when he found the sleeping Lana, he accidentally hugged and kissed a Werewolf that dropped in on him, which Kevin then blasted with his Zapper.
  • A werewolf is a person able to transform into a wolf through magic. To distinguish it from other lupine theriomorphs, it is also sometimes called the "classic werewolf".
  • Werewolves are Fiends transformed from humans into a wolf like creature. They serve the Greater Fiend Volf in a warrior like society, preferring to fight and watch gladiator style battles, although they are also shown ravaging and devouring humans in raids. Their large size makes them difficult to stun in combat, this is best demonstrated in the Aqua Capital intro cutscene where a human gladiator swinging a broadsword against a werewolf's head had no effect. Like wolves, Werewolves usually attack in packs. Unlike Werewolves of lore, the full moon and silver bullets have no effect on them.
  • Werewolf was a private military company that operated under the mother company Outer Heaven, commanded by Liquid Ocelot. It was based in the United States. The name was based on FOXHOUND member Sniper Wolf. The TV spot for the group, its sizable use of unmanned units, its slogan, and the fact that it said that one of their missions was to "perfect the world through conquest of technology" suggested that it specialized in mechanized and armored warfare, largely unmanned in the manner of speaking.

According to legend, people hunted werewolves and burned them alive calling this act "purification". During the full moon, the people would cloak themselves in case any tourists would travel by. The people of Garoh are ruled by their chief, Master Maha. Some residents of Mikasalla and Garoh have vaguely given a hint to the existence of possibly other werewolves, and other were-creatures, in Osenia. However, because of the lack of interaction with the outside world both villages have, and the fact that other civilized were-creatures were not found in any other point in the game, this may not be true.

  • Regular werewolves: Turn into a werewolf only at night. People affected by the disease have short-term memory loss, often leaving them confusion of wounds which might have been caused during the night. Despite having no control over their transformation, certain fragments of their personality and fears can be imbibed by the werewolf's mind, especially strong ones. Aside from hunger, suppressed fears or aggression can drive them to kill in beast form. As such, a werewolf's attack may be controlled by these emotions, depending on which one is dominant. Pureblood werewolves: Werewolves that are closer to an original up to the fourth generation are referred to as pureblood. They have more control over themselves and are less feral. Their human side retains a lot of control and they remember what happened after their transformation. They can transform anytime they want. Purebloods can also access some of their werewolf powers such as enhanced strength and speed while in human form. Original werewolves : People voluntarily become werewolves in any other way than the most common reasons being bitten or inherit the curse from one's parents. Recently Originals have abilities like those of pureblood werewolves have but physically stronger and a bit more resistance against werewolves weaknesses. Experienced Originals are much stronger than any other type of werewolf and possessess powers reservd just for them.
  • A werewolf is a person with a unique hereditary metabolic disorder that causes them to experience periodic temporary metamorphoses into an animalistic state. Clinically, the condition is known as "familial metamorphic lycanthropy." Starting at puberty, a biochemical defect of werewolf anatomy causes a slow cyclical build-up of toxins in a werewolf's body that every two or three months reaches a critical level and forces major endocrine system changes that initiate the temporary transformation. In addition, the body-wide biochemical modifications induces a few physical changes as well. From head to toe, the body experiences a super-acceleration of hair growth in a matter of hours, giving the werewolf a very hirsute appearance. A highly increased metabolic rate allows this rapid hair growth and is also responsible for the increased hunger. Along with the hair growth, the skin tightens, making the nails and teeth appear to grow. The tightening of the skin added with a distortion of the muscles of the face, causes the facial features to change, taking on an animalistic look. In addition, there is an inflammation of the sclera, making the whites of the eyes appear red. A particular alignment of the body's circadian rhythm causes the transformation to only occur at night and to end at dawn. The legend that werewolves turn during the full moon arose from the fact that that's simply when it's easiest to see them. When the transformed state is over, the only physical change that remains is the excess body hair; it must be shaved off. The physical exertion caused by these episodes of physical transformation will leave a werewolf exhausted and vulnerable.
  • In Rebirth, sending the "How are you?" greeting card to Gaspard opens up a discussion about the Werewolf job class. The conversation references a rare card that Gaspard has found called "Werewolf Tribe." Whether this is the class's formal name, the name of a quest associated with the class, or just the name of that particular card is unknown. Although Gaspard did not play R:1, he theorizes that they were similar to the R:2 class Adept Rogue for their ability to switch between weapons. He also states that the Werewolf class was the last of 31 job classes to be added to the original game.

His body is filled with fear, but rage as well; as he wipes the blood off of his face, he notices that his hand is covered in a thick layer of hair. The boy glances up at the sky: the full moon is caught in his gaze, and he lets out a loud howl. (credit)
  • This article is about the supernatural creature of legend. For the German terrorist organization "The Werewolves" in The Man With the Iron Heart, see German Freedom Front. Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are mythological or folkloric people with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or wolflike creature, either purposely, by using magic, or after being placed under a curse. The medieval English chronicler Gervase of Tilbury associated the transformation with the appearance of the full moon; however, there is evidence that the association existed among the Ancient Greeks, appearing in the writings of Petronius, a Roman chronicler. This concept was rarely associated with the werewolf until the idea was picked up by fiction writers.

The physical exertion caused by these episodes of physical transformation will leave a werewolf exhausted and vulnerable. This is where the pack comes in. Werewolves live in packs in order to protect their own and make sure the secret stays safe. They need people to pick them up when they can barely crawl, to get them back undercover. That's how they've kept their existence hidden for so long. When they are at their most dangerous, their fellow pack members take them away to a secluded area so they do not prey on humans during the transformed state. Throughout history, the werewolves' ravenous hunger during their transformed state has brought them into conflict with mankind. In the middle ages, werewolves thrived in the wild forested regions of Europe. However, when farm land ate into their territory, the troubles began. Cattle meant easy prey, it was too tempting. That's when the war started. In one century, thirty thousand werewolves were tortured and executed. The few dark survivors retreated into the shadows and that's where they've been ever since. Tortured to edge of extinction in medieval Europe, the survivors eventually saw a chance to start out fresh and they took it in America. Here their kind has once again sought the wilderness free from the scrutiny of neighbors. Again they can live an ordinary life, or at least a life that looks ordinary from the outside. Over the course of history, werewolves have learned the hard way that being different is a curse.
Her appearance is also quite different, with a more lupine body (she even runs on all fours) but more human face. Likewise she seems able to retain much of her humanity, even retaining speech and memory. It remains unknown whether her change was in any way tied to the full moon. Werewolves can only be killed in their beastly form by silver weapons such as silver bullets or a silver-headed cane. If killed in human form, the werewolf will become the animal and stay that way permanently (944). Werewolves do not remember what happens while in their bestial state. They do, however, remember the beginning of their transformation. It is unconfirmed whether or not killing a werewolf while he is in his human form will cause him to become the beast forever. Jeb Hawkes tells this to Bruno, but seeing as the Leviathans are afraid of werewolves, it may be his paranoia. Jeb Hawkes also revealed that werewolves were plentiful in the time of the Leviathans, and that his race nearly hunted them to extinction many times, but always one would evade capture and howl at the moon to taunt them. Known werewolves: * Quentin Collins * Count Andreas Petofi * Chris Jennings * Carolyn Stoddard (2012)
  • "Legends state that the Wolf-man is a cunning killer. He spends his time as a normal human until the full moon, when his transformation is removed and he reverts to being a terrifying, bloodthirsty beast. I guess the real ones aren't quite so dramatic. We had a worker at the castle with an extraordinary sense of smell and superhuman strength. I heard that he went out almost every night...but no...he couldn't be...could he?"
  • The Werewolf first showed up in Raccoon City in the week before the Mansion Incident. where it terrorized those living at Raccoon City College. Its first victim was a girl called Julie, who George described as having been torn to pieces. Despite the seriousness of a murderer being on the loose - not just a wild animal - the college decided to keep the events out of the paper. With the brutal killing of Michelle Allen on campus grounds, the newly formed S.T.A.R.S. team was contacted, with Jill Valentine masquerading as a transfer-student to ascertain who the killer might be. Following the same route and time as Michelle, Jill fooled the werewolf into pursuit, hoping for Barry to help capture it. Taking too much time to arrive, Jill took out her Smith & Wesson and shot the werewolf. Upon death, the creature turned back into a human form, with the killer being reported simply as a "naked weirdo", in the words of Barry.
  • The Werewolf is a giant demi-human unit you will be able to create after defeating 20 Werewolf units, which are first encountered in Episode 6: Verdant Guardiana - Mischief Garden. He has balanced HP and ATK with good SPD, allowing for quick attacks. He's good with Physical skills and dabbles in Vital and Nature skills. He's best suited to physical-type weapons like swords or axes. He has a low-average confinement time with slightly above average movement range, but he isn't very good at stealing items.

  • Werewolves are creatures than transform from human form into wolves. For some males, becoming a werewolf is a birthright; a genetic gift passed from father to son, the First Change. Though for some, it is a curse. For everyone else, a bite is required, and that bite is usually deadly, especially if the person is physically weaker than other humans. Very few humans survive, because when most werewolves attack, they attack to kill. Humans are also known to die from the bite if they are physically weakened by drugs, severe disabilities, and other severe health issues. There is also the ordeal of surviving the transformation itself, both physically and mentally. Their are chances that either the victim of this will be be braindead or severely deformed or disabled, to the point of needing life support to live, or suffer from dementia like symptoms, or some form of insanity. If the person tries to fight the pain of turning, their transformation will cause physical damage and/or fatally deform and kill them. There is only one known female to have survived the change and successfully become a werewolf; Elena Danvers. Elena has shown abnormal control of her transformation, as she cannot be involuntary transformed by pain, fear or inebriation and can stop her transformation if it starts, which is impossible for other werewolves who start their transformation, as the moment it starts, it cannot be stopped by any will of the werewolf or change in circumstance. It is possible but unknown if her her daughter, Kate Danvers, will become a werewolf when she is older. The werewolves are divided into two distinct groups: Pack werewolves and non-Pack, commonly referred to as "mutts". It's thought that while mutts are not organized in any way - and are usually loners - most actively avoid drawing the Pack's attention. At least until recently this was because 'Pack' policy was to kill 'Mutts' on sight, this changed when Jeremy became Alpha.

  • Werewolves, also known as a Lycanthropes (Greek: λυκάνθρωπος: λύκος, lukos, "wolf", and ἄνθρωπος, anthrōpos, "man"), is a mythical creature. Werewolves are former humans that take on a wolf-like form and/or behavior, usually during a full moon. Werewolves can take on their wolf forms either on purpose or due to a curse placed upon them and/or due to a bite or scratch from another werewolf. These creatures also are known to have abilities that exceed those of humans and regular wolves. The werewolf is mostly held as a creature from European lore, however, because of the growing terror of such a creature, its legend was spread throughout the world many years ago. A great example of this is the use of the werewolf as both a divine and demonic figure by Native American tribes. Werewolves are not to be confused with Lycans, which are a more human version of a werewolf. A Lycan is half-wolf, half-man, and, unlike werewolves, they can control their changing time and are aware of their actions when in wolf form. A werewolf is a cursed creature who cannot choose when to change and instead becomes a werewolf during a full moon and becomes a savage creature that kills everything in its path.
  • A werewolf is a ferocious wild beast-like monster. Normally it is in human form, however, on moonlit nights, it transforms into a werewolf. The relationship between the werewolf and the moon has been known since the 16th Century, with its power increasing based on the strength of the moonlight. A beast of western origin. In exchange for its lack of a unique ability, its physical power towers above the rest. Especially in terms of agility, it is said that there is no equal. It possesses a deep connection to the moon, where its strength increases proportional to the intensity of moonlight.

But in 2000, photographs taken by a Soviet orbital probe were obtained and published by the Federation of American Scientists (FAS). The collection of photos on the FAS Web site show the facility's growth from the late 1960s, including the construction of new buildings and a new runway [source: Federation of American Scientists]. Since then — and especially since the advent of Google Earth — the proverbial cat is pretty much out of the bag. A dry lake bed called Groom Lake borders the base. To the west is the Nevada Test Site (NTS). The closest town is Rachel, Nev., which is 25 miles (40 kilometers) north of the base. The base itself occupies only a fraction of the more than 90,000 acres (36,000 hectares) it sits on. It consists of a hangar, a guard shack, a few radar antennas, some housing facilities, a mess hall, offices, runways and shelters. The shelters are "scoot and hide" buildings, designed so aircraft can quickly move under cover when satellites pass overhead. Some allege that what you can see on the surface is only a tiny part of the actual facility. They believe that the surface buildings rest on top of a labyrinthine underground base. Others claim the underground facility has up to 40 levels and that it is attached via underground railways to other sites in Los Alamos, White Sands and Los Angeles. Skeptics are quick to point out that such a massive construction project would require an enormous labor force; the removal of tons of earth that would have to go somewhere and there would be a need for a huge amount of concrete and other construction material. So likely, what you see is what you get. But nobody in the public really knows for sure, because the government goes to great lengths to conceal what it is doing at Area 51. Print Citation & Date
  • Werewolves are the most common form of lycanthrope.
  • Werewolves are just like human beings, but with wolf traits. The one seen in "Something Fishy this Way Comes" has silver fur covering its entire body (although other colors, like brown, are later seen). It also has silver hair, a bushy tail, pointy ears, a long snout and sharp fangs. This Werewolf is also seen wearing a purple top with a pink skirt and black high heel shoes.
A mixture of powdered silver and dittany applied to a fresh bite will seal the wound and allow the victim to live on as a werewolf, although tragic tales are told of witches and wizards begging for death rather than becoming werewolves. The Wolfsbane Potion, invented by Damocles, allows the werewolf to keep their human mind during transformation. A werewolf cannot choose whether or not to transform and will no longer remember who they are and would kill even their best friend given the opportunity once transformed. Despite this, they are able to recall everything they have experienced throughout their transformation upon reverting to their human form.
  • A werewolf was a mythical Earth creature, a person who changed into a humanoid-looking wolf. Transformations were believed to be brought on by a full moon. When Samuel Clemens was brought from the 19th century to the 24th century, he thought Lieutenant Commander Worf was a werewolf. (TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II" )
  • Though most werewolves after death do not wish to be resurrected and become a Blood Warrior, there is still a decent amount who chooses to serve the royalty. Werewolves, being proud creatures, would always introduce themselves to an opponent before engaging in combat which, to them, would display the pride of the family which they hailed from. Though this makes sense in English, the Japanese always say first names after family names.
  • Mutts are quite different to purebreds, they behave (even in their human form) and look more like dogs, they also seem to lack the aggression and anger that purebreds have, they also are shown to be weaker. Unlike purebreds they transform every night, lack or have weaker versions of the powers and transmit the curse by kissing, they also transform near instantly. Though the effects can be reversed with a potion. When mutts transform, they see everything in black and white. Purebreds however a much more like werewolves in the legends, there are three forms. * The human form * A mid wolf form * A form where they are full wolf It is the full wolf form that they are most powerful. However (like the werewolves in the legends), they lose control and become more violent, aggressive and dangerous (plus they lose a lot of their intelligence) while in their full wolf form. Their transformations are different too, whiles mutts transform near instantly and painlessly, the purebreds' changes are slower and more painful. First they start sweating and look and act they are extremely stressed, behavior changes and then their eyes glow yellow and their teeth turn to fangs, their face morphs and then their arms and then the rest of their body, during which they scream in pain, and finally howl at the moon. They normally only transform when there is a full moon. Although intense anger or rage, will speed up the transformation, so it happens also near instantly if a full moon is present or temporarily transform them into their mid form if it isn't. Their behavior is also much more like a human's (although they still have the odd dog quink here and there) in both their human form and their half-wolf form, their behavior is exactly like a enraged wolf when in there full-wolf form. They also don't pass the curse by kissing, and it's implied that to do that they bite beings, like in the legends. They are also shown to have an incredibly bad temper. It's possible to cure Mutts with a certain potion, its unknown if it would work on Purebreds, but based on a purebreds abilities and information, it's unlikely.
  • Werewolves are Lycanthropes, this means that they are shape-shifters, humans which transform due to the result of a curse. These creatures generally hunt near to human settlements.
  • Werewolves were creatures capable of transforming from a presumed human-like appearance to that similar to a wolf. Werewolves, along with Ogres, Boggles and Hags, were considered among Narnia's darkest and most evil of races. "We should not have Aslan for a friend if we brought in that rabble." ―Trufflehunter describing Werewolves.
  • Of all the lycanthropes, the werewolves are the most widely-known and poorly-understood. Different packs of Lycans, as they call themselves, look upon other sentient species with varying degrees of respect, ranging from those who believe humans should be hunted for meat like other game animals to those who believe that Lycans can co-exist with humans. Unfortunately, of all the lycanthropic races, werewolves are the most vulnerable to an affliction they call blood-thirst, which can drive even the most pacifistic Lycan into a frenzy, attacking and killing any sentient being it encounters.
They only count towards Slayer tasks and exp when killed in the "wolf" form, not their human forms. __TOC__

  • The Werewolves are a race of two-legged canines that inhabit the eastern forests. Legend says that Werewolves are actually humans, or some other race, that turns into these ferocious creatures at midnight under a full moon - but in reality, Werewolves can be found all the time, and it is more likely that they are simply large wolves that obtained the name due to popular folklore. Werewolves move pretty quickly but have no attacks.
  • The Werewolf can be an easy monster to defeat, since combos will always stun it. However, it has strong attacks and is capable of blocking. Since it gives a large amount of ABS early on, if you want to get experience fast, use a Sun Dew on Territory 10 and keep re-entering the back floor. The White Fang, in the Demon Shaft, is immune to all elements. Disable weapon attributes before engaging it.
  • Dr. Mort Cadaver has a salve that grows hair on bald werewolves.
  • The Werewolf is a minor villain in the Quack Pack episode "The Boy Who Cried Ghost".
You will need to run outside only occasionally to reload the cannon. Sometimes the Werewolves would stack up in a single file at the door, this makes it difficult for the Cannon to target. Moving around inside the house would spread them out and solve this problem. You can safespot werewolves over the STASH in the middle of the village, if you stand behind the bar in the pub in Canifis, or across the two tables. There are 4 werewolves inside the bar.

  • A type of beastman having the characteristics of wolves that live in packs. Their intelligence is high, but they are ferocious, and they use their strong legs and exceptional stamina to prowl forests, mountainous regions, etc. in search of prey. When they locate a man who suits their taste, they attack and rape, allowing themselves to be consumed by overwhelming bestial lust. They have the characteristics of wolves, and they are truly ferocious like beasts during mating. When maddening lust drives them to ravishing men, they rock their hips against them simple-mindedly. Of course, they possess far more stamina than humans. They won’t be satisfied with having sex just once or twice. One would end up having to release his sperm inside of them a countless number of times. Additionally, since wild werewolves live in packs, if they take a liking to a man, he’ll be integrated into the pack, and then he’ll end up having to service multiple partners. He’d end up getting raped over and over by many werewolves every night. Many beastmen become even more ferocious when they come go into heat. Sometimes their desire for a human man is so intense that they’ll even come to human villages. When they’re in heat, their body is always throbbing, yearning for human male seed. They’ll give into the throbbing and keep mating day and night. The throbbing doesn’t go away until their heat ends, or they become pregnant. In this way, they’re really ferocious, but they sometimes recognize men as their superior if they’re defeated, or if they fall totally in love. And then they’ll end up becoming extremely loyal to the male partner they recognize as their superior, in other words, their master, and they become just like a dog fawning over a man even during sex. Such werewolves beg for seed so that they can bear the man’s children. Also, one who has dominated many werewolves ends up as the boss of the pack, the 'Alpha’. All the werewolves seek sex, and want to have their boss’s children, so every night, he would have to be with them when they snuggle up to him seeking sex. Also, they sometimes attack and bite human women. Woman bitten by them are influenced by Demonic energy through the opening in the wound and they end up turning into a werewolf just like them. Women who change from human to werewolf tend to be much more docile than those who were werewolves from the beginning. Since they recognize their own family and lover as pack members and master, it’s possible for them to keep living like that. However, if there are other women in their family, they will try to bite them and change them into werewolves, just like those who were originally a werewolf. They have an intense sexual desire for the men who became their master and will go into heat and seek his seed, so it can be problematic. Because they were originally humans, they’re even less able to control their bestial lust and the man who became their master will end up having to mate with them when they have several times as much lust as they did when they where humans.

  • Werewolves are a supernatural species of shape-shifters, who possess the ability to shift between human and wolf forms. They are part of the "two-natured" species, and are a branch of the shifter species. Werewolves differ from shifters and related species in mentality. While their relative species are independent and lead normal lives, as evidenced by Sam Merlotte and Luna Garza, among others (although the werepanthers, the only other branch of the shifter species, have been portrayed as inbred drug addicts, this could just be true of the Norris family), werewolves are territorial and function collectively in groups called "Packs". Werewolves (also called Wolvs) are a separate biological branch of Shifters who have the ability to shift from human-to-wolf form. Unlike the vampires, their existence of wolvs isn't public knowledge. Little is known about werewolves or the specifics of their existence. It's implied that the shapeshifters are hunted or discriminated against by werewolves and other types of "wolvs". Werewolves are known to be very violent and unpleasant creatures, and can easily be tempered.
