The Halberd is a weapon that appears in Onimusha: Blade Warriors. It has both features of a spear and a battle-axe. A halberd was used in battle as a combination of a spear and an axe, merging the benefits of these weapons to create one more powerful than its separate parts. Halberd that appear in the series. It firs appeared in Suikoden V and is automatically gain by the characters. A halberd is a two-handed, martial melee weapon of the pole arm family. Halberds are weapons made of a long shaft with a cleaver-like axe blade with a spike on top the blade at the other end. Like the spear, this weapon inflicts piercing damage, but this weapon can inflict 1d10 instead of 1d8 a standard spear does. But this weapon is a lot heavier, has a higher strength requirement of 13 and is slightly slower with a speed factor of 9. Also, druids can't use this weapon. In addition to requiring a certain Attack level, some halberds have Quest requirements as follows: * White halberd - Wanted! * Dragon halberd - Regicide * Crystal halberd - Roving Elves * Attuned crystal halberd - Plague's End All metal halberds up to dragon may be bought from the Quartermaster at the Tyras Camp in Isafdar, except for the White halberd which can be bought from Sir Vyvin in Falador. It is not possible to make standard bronze to rune halberds using the Smithing skill; however, crystal and attuned crystal halberds can be made from harmonic dust after the completion of Plague's End. Whilst not actually called halberds, the Noxious scythe, Ivandis flail, and Dragon Rider lance have the same attack range as halberds and can be considered as such.
