- Assassin grew up a fan of professional wrestling in Dallas in the early eighties, Assassin grew up watching greats such as the Von Erichs Ric Flair Michael Hayes and many others. Assassin grew a great appreciation for wrestling but it wasn't his first choice in sports. Assassin grew up playing football all through high school and the wrestling bug wouldn't bite until after he suffered an injury during his senior year in school.
- Assassins are agile, swift, and elite trained killers for hire that may be faced in Twinblade's Camp. They wear all black with hoods, red masks, and red cloth patches on their arms and legs. A set of assassin clothes are available for the hero to wear (minus the hood and mask.) Their skin is a deathly and unusually more pale colour than usual, and they always wield master katanas in combat. Aside from being stronger and faster, they have a similar fighting style to bandits. You come across an assassin hero in the waiting room at the Arena. Assassins appear to have a cold and calculating demeanor and seem to be heartless killers, and intellectually above other bandits. The Will spell "Assassin Rush" seems to be a spell that would be commonly used by assassins, but is not seen used by one in
- The assassin is a master of dealing quick, lethal blows. Assassins often function as spies, informants, killers for hire, or agents of vengeance. Their skill in a variety of dark arts allows them to carry out missions of death with shocking, terrifying precision. Rogues, monks and bards are ideal candidates to become assassins. - Hit Die: d6. - Proficiencies: Simple Weapons, Light Armor Proficiency. - Skill Points: 4 + Int Modifier. Alignment: Any evil. Skills: Hide 8 ranks, Move Silently 8 ranks. 1: Death Attack +1d6 - Special sneak attack that has a chance of paralyzing opponent.
- LocationsUnknown [[Category:s]] [[Category:s]] [[Category:s]] [[Category:s]] [[Category:s]] Assassins are individuals who have been hired by others to kill a specific target. These people are usually equipped with pistols in order to keep a low profile. If Shepard decides to go looking for Harkin first, rather than going to see Barla Von, when the Commander tries to enter Chora's Den for the first time, two Assassins will be waiting in ambush.
- He was a mercenary, aligned with the Quarrymen, who was hired by Demona to track down and assassinate Goliath, and at the same time, make Demona look like a hero so that she could take over the clan in Goliath's place. The Assassin, in turn, got Quarrymen to work with him to try to trap the Manhattan Clan so that he could carry out his mission.
- The Assassin is one of three Classes only available to the Vail. Image:Class Icon Assassin.jpg Assassins automatically gains + 1 to DEX each Level. Description The Union’s answer to the Ranger is the Assassin. Like the Ranger, stealth and deception are the trademarks of a good Assassin. Ambush and evasion are staples of the Assassin. They also know how to frighten some monsters away. Assassins can disguise themselves as harmless creatures or as the enemy, further enabling their stealth. Priests or Oracles - A very easy fight if you have the "Stun Set".
- The Assassin class was added by the Rising Tide expansion Assassins have the highest DPS (Damage Per Second) of all the Perfect World classes. They are one of the best PvP/pker in the game. They are also renowned for their bleeds, shadow jumps, and of course the famous stealth skill. But with great power, comes great drawbacks. The Assassin class is also less enthusiastically known for their low hp, time to reach full damage output, and low defense. Those who can counter these draw backs with killing before they get killed, amazing speed, and evasion are the Assassin class.
- There are six total lessons over 23 total levels for the Assassin:
* Bounty Hunter Expertise I -- Levels 46-49 Often, assassins receive a contract against multiple targets. In these situations it is important to learn attacks that are effective against several opponents. Also, many assassins find it easier to fight while wearing armor.
* Bounty Hunter Expertise II -- Levels 50-53 In addition to deployed snares, assassins are frequently trained to use traps that not only hinder targets, but also cause severe damage.
* Bounty Hunter Expertise III -- Levels 54-57 Skilled assassins never abandon their combat training, knowing exactly how valuable a critical attack can be.
* Bounty Hunter Expertise IV -- Levels 58-61 Understanding the dangerous nature of their pro
- The sorceress, Nimueh, attempted to distabilise attempts at peace between Mercia and Camelot by framing Bayard, king of Mercia, for the attempted assassination of Arthur Pendragon, prince of Camelot, with a poisoned goblet. Bayard's forces were poised to attack Camelot after he was imprisoned by King Uther, but the truth was discovered by Gaius in time to prevent war and Bayard was released (The Poisoned Chalice).
- Anyone who murders an important person for political or religious reasons is classified as an assassin. However, in Dragon Age, an assassin is someone who is paid or contracted to kill someone else. In the far off land of Antiva, such a statement would earn you only nervous looks and the rapid departure of whomever you were speaking to. There, assassination is considered an art form. The guild of assassins known as the Crows holds almost as much political power as powerful noblemen and military commanders. Any man, it is said, exists within their reach, and the Crows have proven this adage time and time again. More than one king of Antiva has even hailed from their ranks, and it should come as no surprise that those particular kings have in fact numbered amongst the nation’s most effective
- Assassin is an in Demon's Souls. They wield a unique shield and a Secret Dagger. Notably, they have a cloaking effect on them similar to that of the Thief's Ring, which renders them invisible at about ten paces or more; however, they can sometimes still detect and throw unique Secret Throwing Daggers at the player from farther away than that. At close range, they attack with various flourishing dagger slashes, a quick slash while performing a backward handspring, and a slow spinning side kick. The kick is telegraphed by the Assassin swinging his right leg backward and spinning around once; it is extremely difficult to block, deals substantial physical damage, grants the Assassin hyper armor for the duration of the attack, and knocks the player backward several paces, potentially off a high
- A generic assassin unlockable only in North American and European console ports of Soulcalibur II, and even then, only selectable in Practice mode, Team Battle mode, and Versus mode (the extra variants of these modes he is selectable as well). He does not have an in-game profile or ending, but he has a profile of his own in the "Soul Calibur 2 Official Complete Guide". It does not state anything more than that they ("Assassin" is actually a group of people) are assassins of unknown origin (though seeing the Soulcalibur III Assassin in the Shrine of Kunpaetku seems to point that they are agents of Fygul Cestemus) in search of Soul Edge's fragments. Although his fighting style is based on that of Hwang Seong-gyeong from Soulcalibur, and Hong Yun-seong, he has no biographical association with
- This is the seventh episode in Bangkok and was released on May 18, 2010. bestiarytext | - Merciless and lethal, the Assassin stands for treacherous surprise attacks. Although there are a lot of thugs, bandits and murderers that roam the realm, the assassin is one of the few who made a real profession out of murder. Usually organised in small organisations, Assassins are trained in the arts of fighting dirty tricks, backstabbing and stalking. Although they are formidable fighters, those hirable murderers prefer sneak attacks on unsuspecting victims which they attack with all kinds of dirty tricks to gain an advantage. Depending on their current mission, the Assassins work alone or in small hit squads. They are rarely encountered in greater numbers except by those that are unfortunate enough to stumble on their hideouts.

Transcript | - Me. An assassin... that's rich. I could have gone along, I suppose. Spliced up, forgot. I believed in this place. I believed in Ryan. But when it got hard, Ryan didn't believe in Rapture, didn't believe in the Great Chain. He believed in power. And now this place is busto. And my girl is... gone... worse than gone... one of those... things. So am I an assassin? ...Well, only one way to find out.

Notes | - If you are a Mage or Paladin, a Dwarven Ring may come in handy. They give some rare loot which makes it worth the mana/arrows used.
- Merciless and lethal, the Assassin stands for treachery and surprise attacks. Although there are a lot of thugs, bandits and murderers that roam the realm, the assassin is one of the few who have made a real profession out of killing. Usually organized in small groups, Assassins are trained in the arts of fighting dirty with backstabbing and stalking. Although they are formidable fighters, those hirable murderers prefer sneak attacks on unsuspecting victims which, they will attack with all kinds of dirty tricks to gain the advantage. Depending on their current mission, the Assassins work alone or in small hit squads. They are rarely encountered in greater numbers except by those that are unfortunate enough to stumble on their hideouts.

- This page is intended to define the INTERSLAVIC word form for the ENGLISH word at the top of the column to the right. If the INTERSLAVC box is "blank", then a word form has not yet been selected. Immediately below the INTERSLAVIC box is a link entitled "discussion about this word" - which will link you to a "Discussion" page specifically for the WORD at point. Below the Discussion Page link, under "PRIRODNE JEZYKI" ("Natural Languages") are listed the various modern Slavic natural languages - in their respective native language forms (NOTE: some natural language may be missing) Finally, below the Natural Languages section, is the "Constructed Languages" section - "Postavjene Jezyki" - which includes "Slovio" "Novosloviensky" (NeoSlavonic) and "Slovianski". The "Slovio" project is no longer active. "Novosloviensky" and "Slovianski", on the other hand, have joined together as "INTERSLAVIC" or "MEDŽUSLOVJANSKI" - each offering a slightly different grammatical format. Here you may access and edit this information.

The Will spell "Assassin Rush" seems to be a spell that would be commonly used by assassins, but is not seen used by one in the whole of the game. Design: Assassins seem similar to Jack of Blades clothing-wise but lack the intricate masks and chains. Assassins also appear to have that of a spiral dimentia tattoo. Assassins are among the few bandits that have a shoeless design. Assassins are featured in some quests. here are a few:
* (Murder with a Twist) A Guard will ask you to kill a strong Assassin leader in Twinblade's camp. The player may choose to kill the Assassin for 1,000 gold or the Assassin will hire you to kill the guard for 2,000 gold. If you choose to decline that first offer, the Assassin will irritatingly bump up the payment to 2,500 gold. (You can also kill the Assassin after he pays you that 2,500 gold, so you can get the 1,000 gold reward as well from the guard). Initially, the Guard makes you believe that the Assassin is simply a twisted murderer. But after meeting the Assassin, who turns out to be both a rather pleasant man and the Guard's brother, the story is clarified. It turns out that most of the money that the brothers were to inherit from their mother was to go to the Assassin, but the Guard wanted all of the inheritance for himself. It is up to the player to decide who is the right choice in this situation, but someone is going to die regardless. Ironically, you attain evil alignment points if you accept the Assassin's offer of 2,000/2,500 gold, yet you get good alignment points if you go along with the Guard's offer of 1,000 gold.
* (Assassin Attacks) After defeating Twinblade and conquering the Arena, word of your many victories spreads around and causes assassins to come after you. These assassins are sent by Twinblade for revenge if you spared him, or by his loyal followers if you killed him. These 5 assassins appear in specific areas on specific maps, so actively hunting them down can be difficult. They attack you alone, but appear spontaneously nearby so as to be undetected on your map. Each time you kill one you receive a valuable item. After killing all five of them, you receive a message from the Guildmaster, and are awarded with the third Treasure Clue for the bronze quest, "Hidden Booty Hunt." File:Fable The Lost Chapters - 39b - Mr. Assassin man.
* (Find the Bandit Seeress) A group of assassins may be hired as a distraction to allow you to get into the Elite camp. You can pay them 2,000 gold, a reasonable price, or you can separate their heads from their bodies to raise a commotion and cause Elite bandits to come running out, leaving the gate open behind them.
- Assassins are also highly adept at lock picking, allowing them to open locked chests without the need for keys used by other classes, freeing up precious space in the Assassin’s inventory for other items.
- The Assassin is a ninja-themed profession introduced in Guild Wars Factions. Complemented by their primary attribute, Assassins are capable of dealing large amounts of damage in quick, short periods of time. As its name suggests, Critical Strikes increases the Assassin's chance to inflict a critical hit. Furthermore, successive points in Dagger Mastery increase their chances to double strike - that is, hitting a target twice in one attack. Despite being lightly armored, Assassins possess several self-enhancing skills that increase the chance to block. The Assassin's key ability is the Shadow Step. As the name implies, it allows them to quickly move in and out of battle through instantaneously teleporting to a target, friend or foe. Relying on luck and illusion, the patron goddess of Assassins is Lyssa, though dealing in death they also have ties to Grenth. Assassins are very vulnerable to damage due to their weak armor. You should never charge into the middle of a fight but rather look for key foes such as Mesmers that may shut down your Monk. Assassins focus on killing their enemies quickly before they have a chance to mount a counter-assault, even more so if you attract the attention of their Monk. While an Assassin should focus on causing damage, some healing skills are required such as Way of Perfection or defensive skills such as Critical Defenses to stay alive. If things go bad, escaping from battle is advised by using protective buffs such as Shroud of Distress or Feigned Neutrality. However, Assassins are key to some of the most powerful groups, as dealing hard, swift strikes allows for an easy run. The primary Assassin's base armor provides 70 armor, +5 energy, and +2 energy recovery. A starting primary Assassin begins with 25 base energy and 4 energy recovery. The Assassin's primary attribute is Critical Strikes, which increases its critical hit rates.

- Jack-B092 was a SPARTAN-III.He had just been augmented and was now participating in one final exercise,a team battle.Jack was with his friends Ronald-B088 and Lucia-B159.They were in the armoury, picking out two weapons each.Jack took an BR55 Battle Rifle and an M6D magnum. Then he put on his SPI armor, holstered the pistol, hefted the rifle and charged on to the field. He saw a Spartan and emptied a clip of stun rounds from the rifle into the armor. The Spartan fell and on his HUD was marked as KIA for the duration of the exercise. Then Jack surveyed his surroundings. He noticed a Spartan trying to flank him and sighted through the rifle scope. When the Spartan was in range,Jack fired until the Spartan fell.Ronald and Lucia attacked the base,"killing" all of the Spartans. One more remained, and sniped Jack.He could not move and then waited for backup.Lucia "killed" the sniper, and through the intercom,he heard "Green Team have one the exercise."Jack got up,as did the rest of the Spartans. He walked over, shaking their hands and saying "Good game". 1 Year Later Jack,Lucia and Ron had been deployed to destroy a covenant shipyard. The three Spartans went in,killing all of the covenant they saw until an elite stabbed Lucia with an energy dagger.Ron and Jack opened fire at the same time, killing the elite. Then a jackal sniped Ron and was quickly killed by a group of Spartans in black, with red visors. One of the black Spartans ran over and said "Admiral Parangosky wants you to join ONI."Jack said "No.I cannot function as part of the UNSC without my team so I resign."He threw the black Spartan a quick salute, hijacked a space banshee that flew too close, and flew to Reach. He had decided to become an assassin.
- Assassins have two different variants.
* One variant is a third-party, where there are three or more. Each has an inspection and at least one shot (usually equal to the number of the other Assassins). Their goal is to kill the other Assassins.
* Another variant is a day vigilante, who cannot be stopped, even by Bodyguards.
- In Demigod, there are two types of Demigods - Assassins and Generals. Assassins shift gameplay to an action oriented feel, focusing on defeating enemy Demigods and their army directly.
- Of course, a wise player might do this anyway, hoping to be hired for a revenge 'hit'.
- Dark Elves who prefer using bows over swords become Assassins. They are stealth warriors who equip themselves with bow and dagger and light armor to move easily. Playstyle: The playstyle of an Assassin is similar to that of a Rogue. Compared to Rogues, they have superior attack capabilities and access to magic and skills focused on causing or enhancing damage to enemies.
- An assassin is a hired professional, not usually affiliated with any particular family, who is hired for especially dangerous contract hits.
- Assassin is a recurring character class, usually an advanced class derived from Thief. It specializes in infiltration and elimination of key (soft) targets, without any concern for defense and personal safety. Its abilities are highly-damaging, commonly only effective against organic targets, and slow to recharge. Once the Assassin has lost its camouflage by eliminating its key target, nothing will prevent massive retribution from ripping through its paper-thin defense, unless supported by other classes.
- A Persian order of Nizari Ismailis, which the word assassin originates from Hashishin. The order was established just before the first crusade.
- The Assassins are gangsters, who's jobs are to assassinate and murder mobsters from rival families in their hit contracts from their own crime family members. For their work, they get a big reward, and they are very valuable to each of the family members. They can take orders from Spys, Soldiers, Capos, Underbosses, Lawyers, and Dons.
Although his fighting style is based on that of Hwang Seong-gyeong from Soulcalibur, and Hong Yun-seong, he has no biographical association with any character in the series. In battle, he uses the Chinese Blade "Assassin Blade". He is voiced by Kentaro Ito and has six different costumes in the game. His dialogue consists of laughter and kiais. Also, his "A+G" throw move in Soulcalibur II is reminiscent of one of Hwoarang's from Tekken (Falcon Dive Kick), Hwang can use this attack in SCIII.
- Assassin is the smallest mutant available. Its special mutation ability is throwing technology grenades (Assassin Grenade), which sends out high pressure blast of air making its victims fly in different directions! It is also faster than the Slug Mutant. Overall it is a very good mutant to disillusion soldiers and push soldiers out of camping positions. Some people consider this character as cheap due to its special making it easy to knocked back from a position.
- The Assassin is a mysterious character seen only in God of War: Betrayal.
- Assassins are hired killers, thorough professionals who are expert fighters. They are expert in the use of a wide variety of weapons and are trained to a far higher level than most Warriors, Footpads, and other petty killers. They are also skilled in the use of poisons and the construction of traps. These skills are for hire to the highest bidder and it is not unknown for Assassins to be employed by two warring factions to assassinate the leaders of both sides. In the Old World, the Assassin is one of the most potent tools in the armouries of warring families, governments, and religious bodies.

- An adventurer is enlisted by a hooded Monk near the Paterdomus, a Saradominist temple on the holy River Salve. Here, somehow avoiding the aggressive Monks of Zamorak that had taken the temple, he claimed to be searching for someone that could help him craft a mysterious weapon known as a "bow-sword". After crafting the bowsword, he instructed the adventurer to take a sphere to the holy isle of Saradomin, Entrana. Claiming to be one of their order, he said the sphere was a gift for a religious festival soon to be held on the island. Wanting the true nature of the sphere to remain a secret, and as simply taking a ferry Port Sarim would potentially risk revealing the sphere to the ships' crewmen, he requested the adventure to take it through the Abyss, arriving on the island via the Law altar. Once on Entrana, the adventurer brought the sphere to the island's central church, where the monks were preparing for the ceremony. Placing the sphere on an altar without being noticed by the island's High Priest, the adventurer awaited the purpose of the sphere to be revealed. As the monks readied themselves, the monk teleported in, now wielding the bow-sword and dressed in the attire of an Assassin. Using the bow-sword, he attacked its congregation, slaying several members of the order. Stealing a "relic" from the altar, he teleported from the island. The sphere, discovered to be a teleportation beacon, had been designed solely to give the assassin immediate access to the island. After the adventurer rushed back to Paterdomus to confront the monk, they found what at first glance appeared to be his body. However, this was simply another monk the Assassin had murdered, to conceal his identity. The adventurer, realising what they had done, informed Sir Tiffy Cashien of the Temple Knights of the event. Sir Tiffy, claimed to already be aware of the situation, launched a Temple Knight investigation regarding the attack.

The kick is telegraphed by the Assassin swinging his right leg backward and spinning around once; it is extremely difficult to block, deals substantial physical damage, grants the Assassin hyper armor for the duration of the attack, and knocks the player backward several paces, potentially off a high ledge. Assassins frequently dodge after successfully attacking by performing an evasive backward handspring. Similar to the invisible Shadowmen of the second section of the Shrine of Storms, Assassins rely heavily on stealth and traps to kill the player. Notable instances include:
* The third and fourth Assassins encountered in the Palace streets wait on the rooftops and drop down to attack the player if he/she goes down any of the branching alleyways.
* There is an Assassin on top of the staircase near the two spearmen on the rooftops who may throw knives at the player while still invisible.
* An Assassin in the tower beyond the Penetrator Archstone will drop down from the rafters and attack the player from behind while he/she is engaging the other enemies in the tower.
After King Odin's son was killed by Arthur in a duel, the king became determined to get revenge. He conspired to have Arthur Pendragon killed by the notorious assassin Myror. Myror always got his prey and was well known for it. He first tried to acquire Arthur in the woods near Camelot because he had heard that the prince would be out hunting. When the assassin realised that Arthur was nowhere in sight he hastily returned to Camelot to investigate the matter. He saw the young Pendragon in Gwen's home and tried to kill him there, but he was seen by the royal guard and thus forced to flee. He finally discovered that Arthur was partaking in the joust, albeit incognito. Myror murdered the last knight Arthur was supposed to fight and took his place. He planned to kill his prey by using a pike hidden in his lance. Though he managed to wound Arthur, Merlin intervened by breaking a strap on Myror's saddle. This distraction gave Prince Arthur the chance to slay his would-be assassin (The Once and Future Queen). Odin later sent a second assassin to kill Arthur, the Gleeman, under the guise of a circus master who arrived in Camelot to provide entertainment at Arthur's birthday feast. Ultimately, he failed to kill Arthur but was responsible for the death of Uther Pendragon, whom he mortally wounded when trying to kill Arthur. However, the attempt cost him his own life as well (The Wicked Day). In her plan to kill Arthur, Morgana summoned a multi-headed Fomorroh to enslave Merlin's mind, driving him to kill Arthur. After several of his attempts on Arthur's life failed, Gwen and Gaius managed to catch Merlin. Gaius removed the Fomorroh head and killed it, but a second one grew in its place. After stopping yet another attempt to kill Arthur, Gaius paralysed the snake's head, which temporarily gave Merlin back his free will. Under the guise of Dragoon the Great, he traveled to Morgana's hut, found the mother beast, and killed it after prevailing in a close battle with Morgana. Back in Camelot, Gaius removed the head still left in his neck (A Servant of Two Masters).

- An assassin is who carries out an Assassination while being ridiculously hot. Assassins are usually contacted by people who knows someone who knows someone who might have met someone once whose cousin dated a chick that once dated a man who once cleaned an assassin's gutters. All assassins are female or penguins and always hot--always. You will never find an ugly female or penguin assassin. Just look at Angelina Jolie. Need I say more? It you are the target of an assassin try to die gracefully so they won't have to change their blood stained clothes. Another option is to grab them tightly and make sweet, sweet love. Okay, that last option probably won't help, but I can think of worse ways to die.

Fighters, ex-Paladins, Rangers, Druids, and Barbarians operate as warrior-assassins, with as much ability to kill in combat as from the shadows. Sorcerers, Wizards, and Clerics may be the most terrifying assassins of all, for with their spells they can infiltrate and slay with even greater impunity.

The attempt failed, as Gibson was able to telepathically discern what was about to happen, and The Assassin was taken into police custody. Whilst in custody, he was shot through a slot in his cell door by his fellow Man in Black, the Black-Haired Man. (TXF: "The End")
More than one king of Antiva has even hailed from their ranks, and it should come as no surprise that those particular kings have in fact numbered amongst the nation’s most effective rulers. Outside of Antiva, assassination as a craft is rarely held with the same esteem. The Orlesian bard, for instance, may perform assassinations in the course of their duty but rarely is it the actual purpose they are set to. To a true assassin, murder is their craft and they make no bones about trying to distinguish themselves otherwise. Poison is their tool, just as is a slit throat or a silent strike to a critical area of the body, and all are designed to kill with maximum efficiency. The common notion is that assassins stem from a warrior tradition, dating back to the “hassarans” that roamed Antiva and the Free Marches during the time of the First Blight. These were men and women who had been trained into lethal killers using nothing but their hands, feared throughout the north. The truth, however, is one few accept: the Crows started as an arm of the Chantry. In the gentle hills north of Treviso, an order of monks used the herbs grown in the gardens of their abbey to oppose the rule of a despotic duke in the only manner they could. The poisons they developed were intended to help the helpless, and while many would wonder that an order of assassins could have had such noble beginnings the truth of the matter is that the Crows do not see themselves as corrupt in the slightest. In their own words: "All that is good has been built on the bodies of the fallen. If we are to be killers, then let us also be architects."
- Assassins strike from the shadows without warning, emerging from stealth to deal massive damage to a single target. Assassins are the most effective melee damage dealers the Rogue guild has to offer. They can invest in powerful passive abilities that boost their natural critical strike rate and damage, and have the most powerful stealth skills of all the Rogue classes. Assassins like to get up close and personal with their targets, using daggers to quickly and quietly defeat their foes.

* Bounty Hunter Expertise IV -- Levels 58-61 Understanding the dangerous nature of their profession, many assassins opt to further their personal first aid training. This allows them to bind wounds and set broken bones when they are not inflicting and breaking them.
* Bounty Hunter Expertise V -- Levels 62-65 Through the course of his or her career, the assassin gains more experience handling and deploying new snare type traps. Many finds these useful against more difficult contract assignments.
* Bounty Hunter Expertise VI -- Levels 66-69 Before advancing to the next phase of their profession, assassins will complete even more essential combat training. After passing the sixth lesson and 69th level, the Assassin may then work toward the Bounty Hunter rank.
- Assassins generally tend to be high-end damage-dealers, with mid to low utility, low survivability, and spread in the middle when it comes to complexity. The values in the lists below are provided by Blizzard and are in no way indicative of individual players' experience.
- Assassin may refer to:
* Assassin (Breath of Fire II)

- An Assassin is a nimble and quiet class, moving in darkness to strike at the unsuspecting. Locks hold no doors shut for them. Assassins are very adept at taking the lives of others, and are able to find the weak points of opponents, often able to fell those much more powerful than themselves. Because of their training, assassins are typically adept at using a wide variety of weapons; however, to maintain their stealthy cloak, assassins typically stick with light armor and rarely carry shields. Most assassins work outside of the law. However, some factions such as the Morag Tong and the Shadowscales are assassins for their ruler.
- An Assassin is a class-kit of a Thief. The Assassin is a killer trained in discreet and efficient murder, relying on anonymity and surprise to perform his task. Assassins must be of Evil or Chaotic Neutral alignment. An Assassin's poison is very powerful, especially at the start of the game. Assassin poison helps cripple enemy casters as the poison tick will often cause them to lose concentration on their spells. The extra hit, damage, and enormous backstab multiplier allow you to inflict more damage per single hit than just about anything else in the entire game. However, the backstab multiplier bonus takes a long time to achieve and starting assassins will not have many points to distribute into your thieving abilities. Assassins will have to rely on thief-stat boosting equipment and potions (such as Shadow Armor and Potion of Perception) for quite awhile. Because of the added levels it takes to fully utilize the assassin kit, they do not dual-class very well.
- Many of the purchsing agents for the Star League's military branch seems to have overstepped thier authority in the case of the Assasin BattleMech. Althought a new 'Mech was not required in great numbers, lobbyists for the Maltex Corporation managed to gain several key contracts for the production of this 'Mech. Despite all the politices involved, the Assasin turned out to be a successful 'Mech in combat.

- Assassin is a medal that can be earned in the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It is awarded in competitive game types for stealth killing three enemies.
- The Assassin is the ultimate Item+Combat class. The only thing Rank 7 classes have over the Assassin is the Safety skill. This is the only non-sovani class that enhances Weapon Art use. This class will stop upgrading if the Item > Mystic requirement is no longer met. How to Obtain: For characters who can develop the required Wield and Weapon skills changing into an Assassin should be no problem, all that's required is to have Items among the significant skill groups. Training Shards from a different class type is not a good idea though, as that will get Alchemist instead. Upgrade Options: Since this is a Rank 6 class the only upgrades from here are the other ultimate classes:
* Ordainer: requires Item/Mystic balance, all Weapon Types level 19+, STR59+
* Warlock: requires all Arcana learned, INT59+
* Ninja: requires Dual Wield 22 and Katana 19, Mystics + one other significant skill group, STR59+ or INT59+ (PC only)
- Description: Increases the xp gained from killing creatures.
- The Assassin is one of the four upgrade choices from the Sniper that can be selected at Level 30. The Assassin can further upgrade into the Ranger or Stalker.

- Charlie sees a whole new version of following in family footsteps when he and Don are called in to uncover the identity of a professional assassin. The target is one Gabriel Ruiz, the scion of a Columbian family with a history of publishing the truth, irrespective of the risk. Gabriel has no intention of tarnishing the family honor, or going into hiding, which, though very noble, massively complicates the FBI's task. Charlie struggles to quantify the factors in Gabriel's decision, an unusual experience in itself, for him.
- Assassin (アサシン, Asashin?), Silent Killer and Heroic Spirit of Assassinations, is one of the Four Cavalry classes among the seven standard Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants of this class are skilled at operating covertly, stealthy, and silently. This class is one of the weaker classes at fighting; as its members possess low attributes due to not having glorious legends as heroes, it instead specializes in killing Masters rather than Servants. It is an oddity compared to the more formal Knight classes who believe in fair duels and chivalry in combat; they will attack using the most unfair and favorable conditions; and with these conditions, it is possible for an Assassin to match and defeat other Servants. The Assassins' special class ability is ‘‘Presence Concealment”, which allows them to remain undetected when spying or preparing to ambush their targets. Within the Fuyuki Holy Grail War system, it is said only the Hassan-i-Sabbah, summoned with the word "Assassin" as the catalyst, are applicable to be summoned due to them being the only true assassins to actually be recognized as Heroic Spirits. The Assassin in Fate/stay night, summoned by Caster, is an exception. He is an aberration in the system as another Servant summoned him. While he has Presence Concealment, it is his own ability rather than a Class Skill, and he appears listed as "Assassin?" in the Fate/complete material III Servant section. Heracles, even within the Fuyuki system, has qualifications for all classes besides Caster, so it is unknown how he would fit into the role of Assassin. The rule originally remained in the Great Holy Grail War system, but Masters eventually managed to bypass it after the abilities of all nineteen Hassans became known. The Moon Cell Holy Grail War of Fate/Extra does not mention any such rule ever having been in place.

- Kirk leant tiredly against the turbo lift wall not noticing how Chekov was studying him, the lift came to a halt and Chekov smiled at him “Deck five sir?” Kirk acknowledge him with a nod before leaving the lift, the moment he stepped past the lift doors he was ambushed by a punch to the face he staggered back into another opponent who grabbed him by the arms, he pushed back against the grip but was punched in the stomach before being painfully pressed against the wall he gasped to get his breath back and opened his eyes to see Chekov standing in front of him a phaser aimed at his chest, a guard was holding him against the wall by the collar of his shirt which was strangling him slightly. Another guard, Merton if Kirk remembered rightly was standing nearby seemingly keeping a lookout. Chekov smiled at the captain “So you die, Captain, and we all move up in rank.” Kirk struggled against the guards grip as Chekov’s finger mover over the trigger. Merton suddenly moved punching Chekov across the side of his face he stumbled sideways. In the distraction Kirk punched the guard holding him and then managed to sweep him onto the floor as he landed Merton fired his phaser on the guard killing him. Kirk picked up the phaser Chekov had dropped as the lift opened spilling two more armed security guards. Merton dropped the phaser and surrendered to the two men, “Easy, Farrell. I did your job. Ask the Captain.” Kirk on seeing the two guards didn’t want to attack him lowered the phaser but didn’t put it down, “Yes he did your job” Farrell smirked at Merton “Smart boy, switching to the top dog.” Kirk gestured to Chekov who was trying to get up from the floor “Get him out of here.” Farrell and the other guard picked Chekov up holding him securely between them Farrell gestured to Chekov “The booth, Sir?” Kirk nodded while touching his bloodied lip and watched as they took him away. Merton seemed to gather courage from this “Mister Chekov was going to make me a chief. You could make me an officer.” Kirk looked Merton over critically “All right. You're working for me.” He then punched Merton hard getting him back for his own split lip, “But remember I don’t give second chances.” He strode purposely towards his quarters leaving Merton on the floor. He entered his quarters, leaning against the closed doors sighing in relief, McCoy came over instantly trying to look at his face “Hey, what’s this?” Kirk waved the hand away “It's called blood. Watch your step. The officers move up by assassination. Chekov tried it on me.” He moved over to his desk chair as Scotty started speaking “Mister Sulu is Security Chief, I’ve heard some awful things how he keeps order” McCoy butted in “My Sickbay is a chamber of horrors. My assistants were betting on the tolerance of an injured man. How long it would take him to pass out from the pain.” Kirk nodded, “Speaking of which I may have found Spock” Scott smiled “Mr Spock is here, he can’t be as bad as the rest of them” McCoy had seen the way Jim’s jaw had tightened when he said Spock's name “What’s the matter Jim?” Kirk stood from his desk “Something I hope I’m wrong about” they were interrupted by Uhura’s arrival, Kirk took this as a way to change the subject “Any difference in technology?” Scott shook his head “A few small variations in instrumentation. Nothing I can't handle.” Kirk nodded he gestured to Scotty and Uhura “Right use the computer to see if anything like this has happened before and see if you can find a way to send us back where we belong.” They both answered affirmatively, Kirk pressed a few controls on his desk computer “Computer give me the location of Spock.” A flat male tone responded to him “There is no registered crewman aboard this vessel of that name” Kirk sighed in frustration “Computer, locate Vulcan life signs aboard this vessel.” The computer beeped then stated “There is one Vulcanoid life sign located in holding cell C” Kirk looked to McCoy “Bring your med kit and follow me”
